Just like Mrs. Rathore, this book led me through a rollercoaster of emotions, reality of marriage and how diverse a person’s mindset can get at the times of stress. Love this book, would definitely recommend it to those who love a book that puts you through lot of emotions rather than expecting a direct happy ending after a kiss 🤭

I actually forgot about this series. But suddenly i decided to read the second part. I thought Ira would have a redemption arc but there were the majority of the book where I felt to bang her head Right through the book. Like she was portrayed as this tough and self dignity woman, but all i could find was a person who was desperately in need of therapy and instead she found herself tangled with two men. She is supposedly a lieutenant. But she has 0 decision making skills. She is impulsive and reckless with no regards to other people's emotions. I hated her the moment she barges at wedding creating a scene and getting married to Prashant.

And with regards to Prashant. He needed therapy for his PTSD. He loves a woman so desperately and he would have done anything for her..She rejects him and he goes. His love i could understand. But when after marriage his sister and mother harms her emotionally he doesn't bother protecting her. Instead gets his ego bruised because she paid of his debt. And that dr Ridima arc. horrible. Like dude, communication is key to successful marriage. Why not use that captain brain you have. Oh sorry forgot that you wanted to not be a lower rank than Aryan.
Readers do read at your own risk. There are good moments in the book but the times you want to hit the main characters is more..

I really wanted to love this book because book one was an emotional rollercoaster, but this just glorifies abuse. It's miscategorised as a romance book. The ideal audience is a regressive 60s housewife who opposes sanity and dignity. Nobody should read this and think this is how relationships are supposed to be. Both MCs are highly despicable.
