Written in french. Has a very interesting summary. Sadly did not finish it all (on my bucket list of books to read). From the amount I read so far this is a very good book. Kept me questioning how these people could be so smart and creepy at the same time. Every piece of the puzzle sprang new questions right away. At some points I wanted to shout at the character as if they were in a horror movie to not go into a certain place or follow the person's instructions but, they did not hear me. A challenge to read as I was learning french but I good read for people that want adventure and mystery in the french world.
An engaging, fun read, with an outlandishly unbelievable plot. The gradual introduction of primary characters and their wonderful escapes from capture were very well-written and enjoyable. The overall structure of the novel contributes to maintaining the reader's interest. And for someone like me, who learned French in school with required reading of classic texts, the modern language and slang was an enjoyable challenge. Unfortunately, much of the sections dealing with the American FBI, the U.S. President, and the French President were less well-written, and the rushed ending was a huge disappointment.
