Reckless Forever was one of them ones.. I was grinning and kicking my legs the whole book. Judah and Ivy were polar opposite but it worked. Ivy’s random weather facts and quirkiness, mixed with Judah’s impulsive behavior worked well. I read this book in one setting.

Find you a man that’s willing to go to war about you! Judah was willing to burn it all down for Ivy. I will say that this started off kind of slow for me and I was having a hard time connecting with the characters. From my memory, Judah was the comic relief, never took anything seriously, brother in the other two books. I knew we were anticipating seeing a different side of him in this book but I was left wanting more. There was still some of his signature humor (he stayed coming for how bad those kids were🤣), and we got to see him step into his role as a loverboy, but something still felt missing for me. The plot twist definitely was unexpected so I appreciated that element, but then it just made the rest of the story fall flat for me after the reveal. But I can see why the author did it & that it was a way to show Judah in a more serious light with the newfound responsibility so to speak. I just wanted a different outcome lol.

Fave

Judah is my fave and I was worried. The funny, reckless little brother is always a good time. I was worried about Ivy. I’m glad she wasn’t an issue. She really lived up to the Cartel Princess at the end lol.

I liked Judah in the first two books, but Judah might be my favorite brother😍. A forbidden romance was calling my name and this book is just that. Judah literally went against her godfather and started a war for Ivy. If that’s not the embodiment of “if he wanted to he would” then I don’t know what it is. Ivy is so cute and I loved her little weather facts that she randomly would spew. Judah need to be called Mr talk her through it because he was laying in on lick when it came to her. So sad that this is the last book in the series but I would definitely recommend!!!

Jennings Men!!!

Never play with a man who thought he would never love and finally does. Nothing is too powerful when a man is in love. Sad when a child regardless of age must suffer for a parent mistake or lifestyle. A man that is his brother’s keeper is a dangerous man. When the family ties are strong, nothing can break it. Let’s Chat!

Santos the head of the Cartel slightly irritated me. Like why they can’t be clothes. Who wants to see all that when coming to house. Guess he didn't get company often. Anyway, I get the oath or promise he made when it came to his goddaughter - IVY. However, as she got older, I don't agree how he handled it. Though he pumped fear in hearts, there was one he couldn't pump fear into - Judah. This man was not ready for the Jennings men and he learned that. Now don't get me wrong, I understood his purpose but testing someone power, gangsta or loyalty don't always turn out for the good. Ya boy just got lucky. What I enjoyed was when he realized that Judah is that man and he fear nothing - Bull as he would say. When all was said and done, he respected him and when he gave his blessings I had to start dancing.

Ivy was just a girl who was born into the life of the Cartel, but it wasn't who she was. Ivy energy was everything to me and I loved it. My girl got the short end of the stick of life. To be honest she didn't have one. Like she couldn't go anywhere, and I think I would have went rouge a long time ago. Her profession wasn't one that you hear about often, however, it works for her and I loved it. The way she views nature with life. With living within the life of the Cartel, my girl seen and heard it all. What she wasn't expecting to see was who she states was the finest man she ever seen - Judah. From day one of their eye connecting she was smitten. What I enjoyed was though she knew he was in that life; it didn't stop her to getting know him for who he is. My girl also didn't expect to fall and when I say she fell, my girl fell hard. One thing I will say is my girl was stuck between a rock and a hard place - Judah & Santos. Oh, let not forget when she was able to go to the states. I knew then that she wasn't going back to Boliva. It was a done deal in my opinion and a done deal it was especial after that first time. Ivy knew that Judah was not wrapped to tight, but she didn't know that extent. When he showed up and showed out, my girl was all in.

With Judah being the baby of the Jennings men, he was not wrapped too tight. I loved everything about him from his silly self to his serious self. Ya boy feared nothing. Judah never thought he would settle down or find that one to have him feeling like he couldn’t live without her. He was or thought he was different from his brothers until that one day in Boliva and his eyes landed on her - Ivy. That day was the day that everything changed for him. I think what drew him to her was she was not like others. She was beautiful, smart and her conversation was top tier to him. The conversation and getting to know her is what exactly attracted him to her. In my opinion from first site, he wasn't coming off her. Ya girl was able to hold his attention, and no other woman has. Not only that, she wasn't active with the Cartel/Mafia, but she was completely green to it either. That first kiss sealed the deal for him, and you knew that cause your boy wasn't even thinking of any other woman from that moment forward and we all know how this man was behind the kitty. Off topic and speaking of the kitty, there was this one quote that had my stomach hurting as I was laughing so hard - "I told them to come with their kitty already eaten.". Like whom does this. Then when she advised, she was coming to his city/state it was over. Listen this man was plotting like no other and she feel right into it. Oh but when that threat came to her and him it was game time and ya boy definitely checkmate Santos and couldn’t do anything but respect it. Let me not forget them letters and that I became teary eyed cause that there was the icing on the cake - a test. I think I would have reacted a different way cause it no way you played with me like that. One thing for sure, ya boy got what his heart wanted.

Overall this read and series was everything. The Jenning men were a different breed, and I was here for it all. I honestly have to say that that banter between the brothers has me laughing but I loved it all. I must admit it's hard to say which brother I enjoyed the most, however, if I had to pick it would be Jaxon, Judah then Trouble but for the wives, I would have to say Storm. My girl was about living life to the fullest. She was determined to always have a good time. D.Scott did her big one with this read and I look forward to more from her.

Now if you know me, you know Jaxon is Bae forever.

HOWEVER, the way the author wrote Judah and Ivy's story has me absolutely in love!

Following this author, you can see the pen game growth from book 2 to book 3.

The author really gave us some fun intimate moments with this couple and I loved every moment!

By far, Ivy is my favorite FMC in this series. I would honestly say, Ivy is up on my top list of FMCs.

I love a quirky and smart FMC (I definitely see myself in them).

Per usual, the spice was top tier and Judah is exactly what we thought he would be!!!

Although newer to the scene, this author is by far my FAVORITE. Her writing style and ability to tell a story with passion and humor- top tier!!!

I definitely would recommend this book, series, and the author's previous work.

This book could be read as a standalone but reading from book one will enhance the pleasure of this book!

So Good

Reckless Forever was so good — hands down the best book in the series! Judah was absolutely reckless, but that man was going after Ivy no matter what, even if it meant starting a war between the cartel and the mafia. I loved how their relationship started as a friendship, grew into a long-distance love, and went through all the trials before finally finding their happily ever after.

Judah really bloomed into a man who still had that wild edge but knew exactly what he wanted — and would do anything to protect it. Ivy was adorable with her little weather fun facts, and their chemistry was everything. The story had twists, turns, steamy moments, and the sweetest touch with those father-to-daughter letters that reminded Ivy (and us) what real love should look like — a man who will do anything to love and protect her.

5 stars — perfection from start to finish.

I loved Judah in the first two books, so I already knew I would love his book. Judah might be the baby but he is my favorite brother idc idc idc. A forbidden romance with chemistry, secrets and spice and I mean good spice lol. Judah was truly the Bull in this story as Santos named him. I loved the slow burn because we actually got to witness Judah blooming into a true man. Yes he still had a sense of humor and a little reckless but it was nice watching a man realize what he truly wanted; and do everything he had to do to get it and keep it.

Ivy was so cute and I loved her weather facts that she randomly gave Judah. Now I will say I did not picture the baby of the group being Mr Talk Her Through It. I absolutely enjoyed this series.

Judah Jennings. Baybeeeee. All that comic relief and side character energy he gave in the first two books? GONE. This man came into Reckless Forever like a storm...serious, focused, and ready to burn the whole world down behind one woman: Ivy.

Now, don’t get it twisted. He was told, warned, really, by Santos that Ivy was strictly off-limits. Like “start-a-war” type off limits. But did Judah care? Absolutely not. That man took one look at Ivy and said, mine. Period. No talking, no hesitating, no weighing consequences. Just straight "I want her and that’s that."

Ivy? Whew. My girl was stuck, living behind walls, figuratively and literally, for her own safety. She knew that Judah was danger wrapped in designer, but try as she might, she couldn’t shake the magnetic pull. The way he poured into her? Whew. He wasn’t just chasing tail, he was showing her what it means to be protected, loved, and seen. Every glance, every word, every jet-fueled gesture screamed: You are mine and I’ll prove it.

This was a story of unstoppable love, of tearing down barriers, of doing the most because he wanted to , and oh, he could afford to. Private jets. No-limit bank accounts. Mafia power moves. But most of all? That heart. Judah was serious about keeping Ivy’s soul safe, not just her body.

If you’re not already locked into the Jennings Mafia Family series, I don’t know what to tell you. Go download it. Go read it. Go fall in love with all these men who come with chaos and heart. Because this series is the truth.

Loved It!!!

Judah’ story was the perfect ending to the Jennings Mafia!! He was truly the Bull in this story as Santos referred to him as!! And you definitely saw his horns if you messed with anyone he loved especially Ivy!! I loved the slow burn of this romance and the twist was excellent!! To know that he was not only chosen by Santos but the father as well that was so much respect!! Five stars Ms. Scott!!

Judah and Ivy

Mr. Reckless was having a whole war for her hand in marriage and he ain’t even know it l, but he was ready. The time they took to actually really talk and get to know each other to knowing the moment they both fell in love with each other, I was cheesing so hard. Ivy was soft and didn’t have to try at all and Judah was patient and following her lead. Such a great story to end this series 🩷

Its nothing but jokes and games until Judah sees this forbidden fruit. It a slow burn but so worth it. Judah was the brother that swore off love and everything that came along with it. But when Ms. Ivy paid him know attention and showed she was way more than just her looks and or a good time. They were both able to be themselves and connect despite her godfather. The twist and turns were just the right amount of action needed but baby Judah was with the shits behind Ivy and so was the cartel. Loved this book down. The letters were the sweetest parts of the story but, the spice stole the show because Judah was talking her through it and then some!!!!!!!

Judah was worth the wait!!!

He may be the youngest and most reckless of the Jennings brothers, but Judah is a BOSS in his own right. He has so much heart along with his insane humor. So, I knew that when him and Ivy locked eyes it was up from there.

How you staying in Santos house but touching the forbidden fruit? Right in front of the man, right under his nose! Judah gave ZERO PHUCKS!!! I’m sad this is the end. I don’t wanna let him go. 😩😭

D. Scott did it again! Judah was reckless, protective, and willing to risk it all, and the way he moved for Ivy had me swooning. Their chemistry was unmatched—softness meeting fire—and every page had me hooked. This finale was the perfect mix of love, loyalty, and chaos. Judah proved why he’s THAT man, and MY man.

Oh this was so good! The story line and the forbidden trope was amazing! The story plot was done so well and I enjoyed the pace of the story. Ivy was really a soft FMC and Judah was a jokester yet possessive.

Overall I would recommend this story and the series as a whole! 💖

A fitting ending

Overall I loved this series! Although I think Jaxon is still my favorite Judah and Jrue’s books were still really good! Judah and his patient love for Ivy and willing to go up against the Cartel spoke volumes! Ivy should have been honest from the start but I understand her hesitation. Overall good book!
