Rate this book
A big-city detour, a small-town fight, and one romance making a comeback.

Chloe

I didn’t plan on spending December sorting through my grandparents’ house, but here I am—back in Penrose Beach. After being passed over for a promotion, escaping the city sounded like a good idea. What I didn’t expect? Running into Brock Ashford. My first love. The guy I left behind when I swore I was too big for this town. Now he owns the coziest bed and breakfast—and it’s about to be flattened by developers. And only I can help him save it.

Brock

I thought I’d moved on from Chloe Foster. Then she walked back into town with that stubborn grin and big-city determination. Saving the B&B has always been my dream, but working side by side with her makes me wonder if Christmas has a different plan. Maybe this time, I won’t just save the inn—I’ll get a second chance at love.

Chloe Foster's Holiday Rewrite, a second-chance romance novella, is book 9 of the Letters to Mrs. Claus multi-author series—a kisses-only romantic comedy collection bursting with holiday cheer. Britney Mills was born in Utah but parts of her heart lie in Boston, Washington D.C. and Germany. Her love of writing began with the third grade book her teacher assigned her to write and she spent hours hidden behind her mother’s couch writing pages and pages about knights and castles.
Most of her time consists of taking care of her young son and triplets but writing keeps her sane as she travels along on the adventures of characters to come.
When she’s not mothering, writing or reading, she’s probably out playing a sport, going on a hike, or binge watching some kind of murder mystery show. She is a fan of chick flicks and adventure/action stories in books and movies, and can even get her cowboy husband to watch along with her.

Coming home for Christmas + a second chance at love? Yes, please! This cozy novella was pure Hallmark joy—full of small-town charm, festive feels, and a swoony reunion between Chloe and Brock. I loved the blend of humor, heart, and a dash of North Pole magic as they worked together to save his beloved B&B. Their chemistry felt warm and natural, and the story’s quick pace made it perfect for a holiday afternoon read.

If you enjoy second-chance romances, small-town settings, and kisses-only holiday reads, this one’s a must for your December TBR!

Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday! I love all things Christmas; the trees, the carols, the books, shopping for that special gift, stocking stuffers, getting together with family and friends, wrapping gifts, sending Christmas cards, and the foods that we always have at Christmas. I’m a lover of small towns-I grew up in one. We had one traffic light, and everybody knew everybody. I love the big parades, but small town parades where the people have decorated whatever they have; wagons, flat bed truck, pick up truck, tractors, cars, etc. The local high school band marches while playing Christmas music.
Chloe is returning to Penrose Beach after being away for fourteen years. How can anyone stay away from home for that long? You leave behind family, friends, neighbors, and people you worked with. Her life in New York City has made her forget the closeness of small towns. She may live and work in the big city, but she can’t afford to visit more often since her time off would be without pay. She’s also had a rent increase as well. Chloe is going to be cleaning out her grandparents’ home. She thinks that with her mom helping they’ll be finished within a week. As she thinks about the choices she made, she begins to wonder how her life would be if she had chosen a different path.
She gets a text from her mom that she’s “stuck at the hospital, so I had to get someone to get you.” “Hey, Chloe,” a deep voice says beside me. You’re with me today.” Its Brock Olsen, her high school sweetheart. “The one I dumped before leaving for New York.”
Now Brock isn’t too keen on seeing her again. He and his sister had moved in with their grandparents after losing their parents. His grandparents owned and operated a bed-and-breakfast where the two of them spent a great deal of time. Now, the bed-and-breakfast is Brock’s, and it is in dire need of some TLC. The lighting needs to be updated (including the wiring), part of the ceiling has collapsed in a bedroom, and more. There’s also the loan from the bank that was turned down due to the lack of his current income. Brock is in dire need of some assistance, and it needs to happen soon. Chloe catches the end of the conversation and tells him about grants “available for small businesses that will for which you can apply. It gives money for remodels.” She tells him he would need to fill out some forms, submit his finances to hopefully get the funding. Choe offers to help him with the forms, she’s been writing a great deal of grants.
Does Brock want to risk his heart broken again? Will Chloe come through with her offer of writing the grant with him? Will those old feelings get stirred up again? If so, will the feelings be mutual? To find out the answers to these questions and so many more, get your copy of Chloe Foster’s Holiday Rewrite by Brittany M. Mills today!

Chloe has lived in New York for fourteen years, writing grants for the company she works for. Her boss is terrible, and though she has hardly taken any time off in those fourteen years, he’s very condescending about her taking two weeks off to help her parents clean out her grandparents’ home.

Brock has loved Chloe for most of his life, and was devastated when she broke up with him and moved to New York. She didn’t ask him to go with her, and he didn’t want to hold her back. His grandfather, who ran the local bed and breakfast, passed away recently, and left the business to him, but Gramps wasn’t great at upkeep, and only one of the rooms is decent enough to rent out.

Now Chloe’s back in town, and they’re working together—she’s helping him with a grant, and he’s helping her clean out the grandparents’ house.

Don’t go thinking this is stirring up feelings in Brock; the feelings have always been there, and always will be. He’d even bought an engagement ring, waiting for her to come back, but when she didn’t, he had to sell it. MY HEART! It broke into little pieces for him. He wants her to stay, but he won’t demand it, because he’s not a jerk.

Chloe is so caught up in living the New York life that she doesn’t really consider moving home at first. She’s trying to get her employer to let her work remotely, but so far, it’s been a no-go. She worked herself too hard during the past year, only to be passed over for a promotion.

At this point, I would have been quitting on the spot and packing up my ridiculously expensive shoe-box-sized apartment. I watched my younger sister get taken advantage of by the company she worked for, doing the jobs of three people while only being paid one salary. Do you know why salary is evil? You don’t get paid for all of the work you do. There’s no such thing as overtime pay. So employers can heap sixteen hours of work on someone, though they won’t get paid for working eighty hours a week. I don’t know how my sister survived it.

As with all the Letters to Mrs. Claus books, there is a lovely ending, and if I ever needed more happy endings, it’s now. So, grab some cookies and the beverage of your choice, curl up in an enormous duvet or blanket hoodie (seriously, get a blanket hoodie, you’ll love it), and watch these two lovebirds work it all out.

Review:
This story is just so sweet and adorable. I love this second chance love story. And also love that she is willing to help him in saving his grandfather’s B&B and also him letting her help though he is still deeply hurt of her breaking up with him 14 years ago. And love the activities that she helped him plan and also the decorations of giving the Christmas feel and of course helping him to sort out all the things that he needed for her to write grant so that he can received the funding that he needed to fix the whole B&B which is falling apart.

Memories are made and old feelings are coming back when they work together. Love that he and her mom help her realised what she really want to do in life and also his sister encouraging him to tell her how he feels about her. Love the little Mrs.Claus letter too. (can’t spoil it too much you will have to read it.) This story made me smile, laugh, swoon and also make me want to decorate Christmas cookies. Hehe…

I was gifted complimentary ARC. All opinions are my own. Thanks @britneymmillsauthor for the ARC .

CHLOE FOSTER’S Holiday REWRITE
(Letters to Mrs Claus #9)
by: @britneymmillsauthor

••I give 4.5 stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

~A big-city detour, a small-town fight, and one romance making a comeback...

“Our story is just being written.”

-CHLOE FOSTER’S Holiday REWRITE, is very quick-paced yet delightful holiday romcom novella, within the Letters to Mrs Claus Series, where each story is simply filled with hilarious mishaps, flustered blushes, and courageous adventures as they chase their happily-ever-after in this no-spice, swoon-worthy series! CHLOE FOSTER’S Holiday REWRITE, is no exception. The time flies fast but, watching dear characters rekindle what was lacking from 14 years ago was sweet! I thoroughly enjoy the rather award meet-up again after so much time had passed. Watching these characters be able to move party, and work together, leads to such a spark between the pair! Seeing the happiness come from realizing they still might have another chance with each other was the sweetest. Seeing happiness coming from choosing different dreams that can change and turn into what was wanted all along was the best! This is a quick but, dear story worth reading!🎄📚❤️

“Having hope can lead to extraordinary things.”

•Content: being used-taken advantage for doing extra work boss, loss of love, recovery from surgery for side character, death of loved ones (off-page, but mentioned on page), no language, no violence/peril, no danger, kisses only! Clean, closed-door!

“I needed those moments to grow without you to really know that I love you.”

-I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

I just love a story of second chances. Love flew all the way from New York to be reunited with her school sweetheart in Penrose Beach.

A big-city detour, a small-town fight, and one romance making a comeback.

How could Brock Ashford know that when he picked up his ex Chloe at the airport ,how it would go. He’s now the proud owner of his grandparents’ BnB but it’s on its uppers see and because he made a promise to his grandfather scuppered he’d rather not be. Chloe Foster has a fancy job on papers but it’s far from that in reality and gives her the vapours . She’s really missed Penrose Beach she comes to find out and her ex love who she’s been without . Her dating history is a mystery to her too since there’s only been a few and those didn’t work out ooer. Who’d know then that when she flew home to hep her mom clear her grandparent’ house out that she would be helping Brock out too? And Brock in turn didn’t realise how much his heart still burned for her ,yearned every single day of those fourteen years apart when she broke his heart by walking away while he did stay. She’s here now and he’s not prepared to see her leave once more . He has to confess before seeing her go out the door ,that maybe it’s not just the Inn she helps to save but his heart too . Second chances are in the air if Chloe can only open up her heart and take a chance ,a dalliance with her ex beau . Make a good go of it this time around . Wouldn’t that be sound? Maybe a letter gives him a start in the right direction so he can declare before it’s too late and not hesitate to make her see and to give to her brain what’s in her heart’s affection . … Will she see too his intentions are pure ,before she’s been unsure but he imparts what’s in his heart . So the future looks more secure . Is her heart going to overrule her head what’s more… Read and see how it all plays out . Wonderfully written and I was smitten by these two . Is there nothing a Mrs Claus Mistletoe Match can’t do? Britney M Mills thank you for this awesome storytelling it was mighty compelling too.

⭐️⭐️⭐️️⭐️/ ️🌶️

Give me a second chance romance and a coming home story any day of the week! Have Britney Mills write it and it will be a must read for me. I have been so excited for her contribution to the Letters to Mrs. Claus series and she did not disappoint. Every story in this series could easily be made into a Hallmark movie.

Chloe moved away from home, having dreams bigger than her small town could hold. When her parents need her help she returns home. She quickly falls back into the routine, until she runs into the boy she left behind years ago. Chloe starts off a bit self involved. I understand having dreams, but she can’t let go of her New York life in the slightest. She comes home to help her parents, but keeps worrying about the job that doesn’t appreciate her.

Brock was heartbroken when he let Chloe go the first time. He has never stopped loving her. When she returns, he takes a chance and asks for her help in writing a grant to save his B&B. She may not be the Chloe he fell in love with, but he is determined to bring the real Chloe back out. Brock is a total sweetheart throughout the entire story. I adore how he never lets his heartbreak turn into anger with her, truly a good guy.

This story is easy to read, but sweet and romantic. I loved how Chloe let the magic of Christmas soak into her and open her heart back up to new dreams. Britney does an amazing job reminding readers to remember what matters the most. Dreams are important, but if you don’t have anyone to share the joys of said dreams, are they dreams? A wonderful addition to this series and I can’t wait to read more.

As always, review any author notes before reading.

What to Expect:

🎄Matchmaking
✒️Coming Home
🎄Cozy B&B
✒️Holiday Magic

I received an ARC copy of this book from the author and even though I wasn’t required to post a review I wanted to offer my honest, voluntary impression after reading it.

Brittney has written a warm book in this series dealing with people leading up to Christmas which lets those in this case re find the love they once had and have a chance to try again.

Chloe returns to her hometown to help her mother clear out their grandparents house after their passing and re meets her love in high school many years ago.
Things are awkward at first for her because she left him for the big city and to pursue her dreams which haven’t turned out quite like she expected.

She sees he’s struggling with the b&b he inherited from his grandfather after his passing and offers to help him finding their feelings haven’t changed even after so many years apart leading her to make a decision about her future and where she wants to be.

This is a story of second chances and taking a leap of faith when things appear that the feelings resurfacing between them just might not be good enough to keep them together. Of course a letter he gets from Mrs Claus spurs him to declare his feelings he has kept to himself for all those years she has been gone seems to be the nudge he needed at the right time.

I loved this story and wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend this book and this series as ones I know you’ll enjoy reading to recapture the true meaning of Christmas which is the giving of love unconditionally to others which brightens your own heart at the same time making it a win win all the way around!

Pick up this book ( and this series) and enjoy stories you’ll love to read about people who find second chances or finally the courage to pursue a first love!

All it takes is a spark to kindle a flame, and that is very true for this second chance romance, but first you have light the fire.

Chloe Foster left her hometown more than a decade ago. She left with a broken heart, but also with a determination to be the best at her job and put her hometown in the rearview mirror. Fast forward to the present, and things are not so rosy on the job front. She agrees to come back to Penrose Beach to help clean out her grandparents' house. What she does not count on is seeing Brock Ashford, the one who broke her heart.

Brock Ashford is trying his best to keep his promise to his family to keep their bed and breakfast afloat, but the repairs these days are far outweighing the profits. He is at his wits end. Now to add to his distress, he sees Chloe Foster. He thought he got over her years ago, but his pounding heart says otherwise.

Chloe and Brock needed a second chance in so many different ways, and they soon learn that they can help each other out. As they work together, the trips to memory lane start becoming more real for both of them, and remind them of what they once had. Add in a little North Pole magic, and the deal will be sealed. Mrs. Claus is at work again using a little magic, but more than that, a little hope and a nudge.

This was another short and sweet romance in this wonderful multi-author series. The characters are very likable and the story is the stuff of Christmas dreams. For lovers of Christmas romance stories, it doesn't get much better than this.

Thank you to the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was a sweet and heartwarming second-chance romance. It all begins when Mrs. Claus receives a letter from a sister hoping to help her brother heal from his first love that a spark of Christmas magic sets the stage for what’s to come. Chloe returns home to the coastal small town of Penrose Beach from her life in NY to help her mom clean out her grandparents’ old home, only to find that her ride from the airport is none other than Brock, her high school sweetheart and the one she left behind. What starts as an awkward reunion quickly turns into something far more meaningful as the two reconnect through shared memories, community projects, and plenty of festive chaos.

When Brock’s bank loan falls through, Chloe offers to help by writing a grant which happens to be her professional specialty and together they uncover a beloved old holiday tradition, Santa’s Tea and Cookies. As they team up to revive it, they find themselves donning the roles of Santa and Mrs. Claus, rediscovering the joy, laughter, and love that once brought them together. Amid cleaning out the hoarded home, navigating a grumpy boss, and mending old wounds, Chloe and Brock’s story becomes one of healing, nostalgia, and rekindled love.

It’s a cute, comforting holiday read full of small-town charm, second chances, and a sprinkle of Christmas magic - perfect for cozying up as the season begins (because somehow Christmas really is just around the corner!).

Reader’s Notes:

– this is part of a series, but can be read as a stand-alone

– this is told from Chloe & Brock’s points of view

-it is briefly mentioned that character’s grandparents had passed (past events)

Review:

This was quick and cute! I loved the way Chloe & Brock’s second chance romance ended up working out. I loved that both their families were on board with them getting back together, even before they admitted to themselves that they wanted to do so. I also loved getting to see a bit of how the small town of Penrose Beach worked together!

Summary:

Chloe is returning home to Penrose Beach to spend time with her family and clean up her grandparents’ home – as well as to get away from the disappointment of being passed over for a promotion. She knew that coming back would mean seeing her ex and first love Brock at some point. She just didn’t think it would be right after she got off the plane. Nor that she’d be trying to help him save the bed and breakfast he’s running.

Brock thought he’d left Chloe in his past, just like she did to him when she left. But when he sees her again, it’s clear that nothing changed for him. Brock is still gone for her and if he lets her in again, he’ll most certainly set himself up for heartbreak once more. But when his last chance at saving the bed and breakfast falls through and Chloe mentions having one more option for him, Brock can’t let it pass without trying. Even when it means having to work close together to get all the paperwork done.

This is another sweet second chance romance in the Letters to Mrs. Claus series. The MFC Chloe Foster is in town having taken off the 2 weeks of the Christmas holiday to help her mom clean out her grandparents’ home. I loved that the first person she saw was her former boyfriend Brock, as he was there to pick her up due to her mom stuck at work. She had left Brock behind when she had moved to New York city. Brock was devastated when she had broken up with him and moved to New York. He didn’t ask her to stay as he had not wanted to hold her back. Brock had stayed for his grandparents who had raised him. He was now running the local B & B that he had recently inherited since his Grandpa’s death. Though there was only one room decent enough to rent out. He was trying to get a loan to restore the B & B. At they talk, Chloe tells him that there is grants he could apply for, she would know as that’s what her job was. In return Brock helps her to clean out her grandparents place. I was happy when Chloe didn’t give in when her boss called wanting work done while she was on vacation, and she started wondering if she really wanted to return to the city. I have enjoyed all of the books in this series that I have read, but I really like this storyline.

Chloe Foster's Holiday Rewrite is a sweet second chance holiday romance. Chloe moved to New York to pursue her dream job in the big city. Brock didn't want to hinder her success and let her go, never releasing her in his heart. Chloe comes home for Christmas to help her mom. Brock is doing everything he can to save his grandparents B&B. AS Chloe and Brock join forces in trying to save the B&B, things start to reignite between them. Chloe is so talented in her work, but I felt for her because of her horrible boss. It's hard to do a job you love while working with people who walk all over you. Brock never stopped loving Chloe, and he is so considerate of not hindering her, he has lost not only part of his heart but his spark. Chloe and Brock easily reconnect, and I loved seeing Chloe realize that she can change her situation and Brock's start to getting his spark back. I really enjoyed this cozy small-town holiday romance with a touch of magic!

Some of my favorite things:
- Chloe and Brock reconnecting
- Chloe helping Brock with the B&B
- Santa's Tea and Cookies
- Chloe standing up to her boss
- Chloe's mom
- Brock's sister
- The little bit of "magic" from the North Pole

Tropes: Christmas romcom = second chance = a little matchmaking = cozy B&B = a bit of cosplay = high school sweethearts = swoony kisses

Happy reading!

When you leave the small town you grew up in for the big city to chase your dreams, it’s sometimes hard to admit that those dreams may not be what you really want anymore. This is where Chloe finds herself as she comes home to help her mom clean out her grandparents’ house over the holidays.

Brock has been in love with Chloe for most of their lives. When she left for New York, she took his heart with her and it broke something in him with how little she came home. After inheriting his grandparents bed and breakfast, Brock is struggling to ask for help as he is always the one to offer it. When Chloe offers to help him work on some grant proposals, the two remember how well they work together.

Brock’s sister and a letter from Mrs. Claus finally convince Brock to let Chloe know how he has always felt about her. After a phone call from her boss about being needed at work, will Chloe leave early and go back or will she stay and chase a new dream?

I received an ARC and this is my voluntary review.

Another super fun addition to this sweet series. Chloe and Brock were child hood sweethearts. Chloe left for New York to follow her dreams and left Brock broken hearted. She comes back to help her mom clean out her grandparents house not expecting to help Brock.
The chemistry and the sparks are still there between them. It is a sweet easy chemistry. But Chloe has a very hard decision to make regarding her job and whether she stays or goes back to New York.
This was a sweet second chance holiday romcom about two high school sweethearts who get a second chance with a little help from Mrs. Claus.
My favorite line in this one was "Go after her before she leaves or I'll send a herd of reindeer to trample your hydrangeas. That one made me laugh rather loud and I was at work when I was reading this.
Highly recommend reading this delightful heartwarming read.

I received an arc of this book. I am under no obligation to leave a review for this book. My review has not been solicited and my opinion is my own.

This was such a sweet and cozy holiday read. I love second chance romances, especially when they’re set in small towns during Christmas.

Chloe comes back to Penrose Beach after years of living in New York. She’s there to help clean out her grandparents house, but it’s clear she’s also trying to figure out what’s next in her life. Running into Brock, her high school love, makes things even more complicated. Their reunion is awkward at first, but you can tell the feelings never really went away.

I really liked how Chloe and Brock slowly started reconnecting. Their chemistry felt natural, and I enjoyed watching them work together to save the B&B. Chloe’s journey of realizing she’s unhappy in her current job and that maybe her heart belongs back home was relatable and touching. Brock was a bit grumpy at first, but he was also kind and thoughtful, especially when it came to Chloe and the B&B.

The holiday setting added a nice festive touch, and the Santa Claus Tea Party was such a fun idea.

This was a very sweet story about a second chance for former childhood sweethearts Chloe and Brock.

Chloe broke Brock’s heart when she left the small town of Penrose Beach and him behind, determined to make it big in the big city. Now she’s back, after becoming a small cog in a big wheel. She needs a break, and then she runs into Brock almost right away when he’s her ride home from the airport. Suddenly, her break has become more complicated as it’s clear there are still feelings between them on both sides.

Chloe was sweet. I felt so bad for her being treated so badly by her boss. The trip home came at exactly the right time, and I was so happy when she finally stood up to her boss and realised what she was truly worth and where her heart lay.

Brock was a grumpy teddy bear. He was wary at first when Chloe returned, understandable as he’s never gotten over her. However, I liked how he didn’t let his feelings cloud his business judgment and asked her for help. The Santa Claus Tea Party was so much fun, I wish there was one for adults too!

Another sweet entry into the Letters to Mrs Claus series, I am really enjoying these sweet bite-sized stories with some Christmas cheer.

Number 9 novella in the Letters to Mrs. Claus series. Another great read from the series. Another story I couldn't put down. I didn't want it to end.

After 14 years, Chloe returns to her home town. She moved to New York to follow her dreams. So she thought. She came back to help her mother clean her late grandparents house. And since she's been back she's questioning whether she made the right decision. She runs into her highschool sweetheart, the love of her life that she left behind. Brock took over his late grandparents' bed and breakfast. Right now he's having trouble with keeping it open and at the same time maintaining renovations. Chloe offers to help him and as they work together old feelings resurface. Except for Brock, he never stopped loving her.

Such a sweet, adorable story of second chances. And it's never too late to follow your dreams (or change your dreams). This is a closed door, only kisses romance.

I want to start by saying I received an ARC of this book. This is a clean romance book and part of the series Letters to Mrs. Claus. The main characters are Brock and Chloe. Broke and Chloe used to be in love until Chloe broke up with him and moved to New York. Years have gone by and Chloe is back in town to help her mom sort through her grandparents house. Brock and Chloe end up spending time together to help save his B&B. The more time they spend together the more they realize they still love each other. Unfortunately, Chloe has a life in New York and Brock’s life is in Penrose Beach. Will this be their second chance? Will they get their happily ever after together? Will Chloe go back to New York and break Brock’s heart again? My heart broke for Brock as he is such an amazing guy and Chloe broke him in the past. I was happy to see them reconnect and spend time together. I loved the small town and the side characters. Overall, this was a good book.

MC: Brock Olsen and Chloe Foster, First Person Dual POV

This is a sweet second chance story. Brock melted my heart because he loves Chloe so much he supported her in everything she did, even when she chose to go away. While he was heart broken he chose to support her. Chloe coming back made him realize that his heart never forgot her. For Chloe it was easier to tuck him away because she was busy adjusting to a new city and new challenges, but coming back made those hidden feelings come out of hiding. Overall, this is a great book to read if you're short on time, want to get into the holiday spirit, love second chance romances and just want to have a bright spot in your day.

This book does not have: billionaires or millionaires (which is refreshing) or anything spicy (kisses only).

I read an ARC copy of the book and this is my honest review.

When Chloe comes home for a two-week vacation to see her family and help clean out her grandparent’s home, a huge surprise awaits her at the airport. Her high school sweetheart Brock who she broke up with when she left for New York. According to Brock, her mom had to work and she asked him to pick her up but I’m pretty sure her mom and his sister have already started the matchmaking for these two along with Mrs. Claus. What a great story seeing these two work together not just on helping Brock out with saving his family inn but helping Chloe with her grandparents house as well. You could definitely see these two having feelings for each other again and when she had to leave to go back to New York for work, Brock made the ultimate grand gesture and this changed both their lives. I also loved his surprise for her at the end of the story. What a perfect second chance romance for the Christmas season.

A sweet, clean second chance romance from the Letters to Mrs. Claus multiple-author series. In this one Alina Ashford has written to Mrs. Claus on behalf of her brother, Brock Olsen. Brock is struggling with the cost of running and repairing the bed-and-breakfast he’s operating after his grandparents past. Brock also suffers from a broken heart caused by the very woman, Chloe Foster, that he’s now at the airport to pick up and drive to her parents’ home. Chloe’s left him fourteen years ago to pursue a career in New York City but now she’s not so sure she’s happy about that decision. Can Mrs. Claus work her magic for these two?
Another perfect bedtime story of about 86 pages with just the right about of emotional distress, fond memories, and delightful second chance love. The storyline is well written with characters who are realistic, relatable and very likable.
I received an Advance Review Copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

🎄📚Chloe Foster's Holiday Rewrite by Britney M. Mills ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you're looking for a cozy, festive escape this season, Chloe Foster's Holiday Rewrite is the book to grab! 🎁✨ It’s like wrapping yourself in a warm blanket with a hot chocolate in hand — sweet, feel-good, and full of holiday vibes. ☕🌨️

The story moves fast — maybe a little too fast for my liking 🚀 — but it definitely keeps the pages turning! I just wished I could have spent more time getting to know the characters 🎭. A little more depth would’ve made the holiday magic even stronger. ✨

That being said, it's still a delightful, heartwarming read that’s perfect if you’re after something quick, uplifting, and totally festive. 🎅💖

✨ Recommended for anyone who loves a speedy, charming holiday romance with all the Christmassy feels.

Chloe Fosters Holiday Rewrite by is written by Britney M. Mills. The Letters to Mrs. Claus Series has introduced several new authors, which I have enjoyed their novellas, now putting them on my watch list for more books. Britney M. Mills is one of them. This story of revitalization of a lost relationship along with revitalization of a small-town business was a hit with me. The two main characters knew each other well even though they had been apart for many years. Chloe Foster has come home for two weeks which has her rethinking her future. Brock Ashford is trying to save the family business, so his future is at stake too. They make a great team which makes Chloe Fosters Holiday Rewrite a lovely, sweet story. Not a long novella but the perfect size when you want to read but time is short during the holiday season. 4.5 Stars

Chloe & Brock

I really liked this short, sweet second chance holiday romance between the girl who left for the big city and the boy who never left home. But Chloe comes home for the holiday to help her mom clean out and organize her grandparents' home to sell. And Brock, her high school boyfriend is there, two doors away, trying desperately to save his grandparents' B&B from falling down around his ears.
Brock needs the kind of grant writing help that Chloe is uniquely qualified to provide. They join forces to recreate one of the B&B's holiday traditions: the Tea & Cookies event. It was such a wonderful program for families in the area and it added to the holiday cheer for this little town.

I received a free advance copy of this story from the author via BookFunnel and voluntarily chose to share my review.

This is another heartwarming story in the Letters From Mrs Claus Series. A step back home from the busy world brings Chloe to a decision point in her life. After going after her dream, was it worth it to let go of true love? Chloe and Brock's love story is a sweet one of reviving love and an old family tradition that brings joy to the community.
I like the support Chloe's mother gave her, not forcing her to make the change even though she wished it, and also Brock opening up and admitting to Chloe his true feelings. Brock's strength of character is shown in many ways as he did his best to keep his grandparents' legacy alive.
Chloe Foster's Holiday Rewrite is a reminder that it is never too late to make that decision that can change one's path and bring more joy. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I liked the two main characters together. This was a good second chance book for Brock and Chloe. Chloe left their small town to pursue her dreams and found that they were all they were cracked up to be. She works too hard and when she needs a "vacation" to help her family, work still calls on her. Brock is trying to salvage the family's bed and breakfast and I love that helping him puts their paths back together. I would have liked to dive into their history a little more and if this was a full length book, I would have expected a bit more of after the HEA also. As this was a novella, they progressed as much as one would expect to have a happy couple in the end.

Thank you for the copy, this is my honest opinion. Please be aware of any trigger warnings, as your mental health is most important.

I love a good second chance romance and this one is so cute. I love a small town feel where everyone knows you and Penrose Beach is no exception. Get ready for Mrs. Claus, her Mistletoe Match Operation work her magic on Chloe and Brock and their second chance. I really enjoyed how Chloe and Brock’s feeling never really faded and her coming back made those feelings resurface. A all around cute read.

This is the book nine in the Letters to Mrs. Claus. A multi author series of novellas based around Mrs. Claus’ own mission Operation Mistletoe Match. These novellas can be read in one sitting, to get you in the mood for the holiday season. All books can be read as a standalone. All books in the series are closed door, kisses only.

This is a book and series I would totally recommend. I can’t seem to put them down.
