She went viral for being stalked—then watched as the internet turned her into the villain in a twisted psychological thriller about obsession, manipulation, and revenge.
My name is Madison Hale, and someone is stalking me.
Intimate messages. Personal details I’ve never shared. Photos taken without my knowledge.
So I did what any smart influencer would do.
I asked my community for help.
I documented everything. Shared my fear. Let them see the evidence unfold in real time.
I never told them to destroy lives. I never said anyone deserved to die.
But when you have half a million people who believe your every word, you don’t need to.
Now a young man is in hiding. My career is over. And the internet has decided I’m a monster who weaponized social media for revenge.
They’re not wrong.
But they don’t know the whole truth.
The person who’s been stalking me isn’t an obsessed fan or a stranger online. It’s someone who knows how to make me self-destruct—quietly, publicly, permanently.
Someone who’s been watching me so closely, they know me better than I know myself.
Someone who planned this from the very beginning.

Wow wow wow... this had been another great read by shelby Shaw! This time not only about how much you should show about yourself on the world wide web, but also about what can happen if your loyal online followers decide to start a witch hunt....
It was only a short read - a round 125 pages - but very intense, and surely something I will keep thinking about. Very well done! Please pay attention to the trigger warnings when reading it, though.
