The Darkslayer Chronicles: Death in the Hills (Book 2): An Epic Sword & Sorcery Adventure Saga

Rate this book
🔥 Some hills are worth dying on… but these hills kill everything that enters them. 🔥

Bound by chains of deceit, Venir the Darkslayer and his cunning ally Melegal the Rat are hurled into the jaws of conspiracy. The Royals call them murderers, but the true killer still stalks the shadows.

Dragged into the Underground—a secret chamber of torture where Royals break their enemies in silence—Venir and his companions must fight to survive while hunted from all sides.

Meanwhile, the real killer walks free. The alien assassin Mask, part human and part abominable, moves through the shadows with a mission of her own. She sets her sights on Venir’s comrade Sticks, but Mask hides a secret so dark it could alter the fate of all mankind.

And beyond the hills, in the burning sands of the Outlands, the Forgotten Empire rallies under the monstrous will of Rulnok the Assimilator. His growing demon horde forges an unholy pact with a surviving remnant of Underlings, rekindling an ancient nightmare that once brought the world to its knees.

Hunted from above, threatened from below, Venir must fight to uncover the truth of his stolen identity and cut through a world drowning in lies. Only the Darkslayer’s fury can hold back the tide—but even his wrath may not be enough.
