a quick paced read that combines personal, historical and political elements into a suspenseful, moving mystery that pulls the reader along. My father-in-law served in Vietnam at about the same time and this book had me thinking about what that experience must have been like for him.

A poignantly written book about the Vietnam War and the tragedies still unfolding thirty years later.

A very good book that was a pleasant surprise. I picked it up because of the title and the record on the front. I am a record collector. Of course, the tale is not about record collecting, although one particular record plays a prominent role. This was a good family mystery centered around atrocities committed in Vietnam and the subsequent cover up. Well done. Highly recommended.
