They’re extroverts, they’re neighbors, but they don’t do Christmas.

Wyatt

I'm an extroverted accountant, and though I love numbers, I crave human interaction. My new neighbor is like me, and as we spend more time together my feelings start adding up. It helps that Rebekah is anti-Christmas, too. My interest in Rebekah is accruing, but is falling in love really on my Christmas wishlist?

Rebekah

I may be Scrooge on the inside, but my job requires some Christmas cheer. So, it's nice to find another person who feels the same way I do, especially when it's my cute neighbor. “’You know, Rebekah, I feel like we’ve connected on a cell-ular level. You see, I know my formulas, and the best one is you plus me.’ She fans her face with her free hand.”

Eek!!! My new favorite Christmas book ever??!!!!

Why was that actually so goooodddddd! I loved it so much! Omg the MMC had me rolling from the beginning. And I loved how squeaky clean and authentic the romance was. A breath of fresh air.. I gobbled this thing up and was reading till the wee hours of the morning. I wholeheartedly recommend this book.

This will certainly not be my last by this author! Can’t wait to dig into her Bolts of Love Series!

This was a great ARC by Madelyn Smith.

Move over Hallmark, Madelyn is taking your job! 😂 seriously, she’s cool!

Best quotes:

“No way. You’ll have to be surprised just like everyone else.” “Beekkss.” He draws out my name, but I’m not budging, and he laughs.”

“With a Christmas tie that matches the dark green of my dress? Wowzers. He’s a hottie Scottie in a Wyatt’s body. His eyes flash as he drinks me in. “Forget it, Beks. We can’t go to the party with you looking drop-dead gorgeous like that. I’ll have to fight off every other man there.” I arch my eyebrows. “Didn’t you say you’re one of three single guys at the firm?”He waves his hand as if brushing away the thoughts. “Semantics.” He steps into my apartment, reaching for me. He lifts my hand in his and spins me in a slow twirl. “Gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous.” I pat his chest. “You look mighty fine too, Mister Accountant.”

😂 I like the nickname Hottie Scottie.

“How does Wyatt make everything feel like an inside joke? Like life is fun and entertaining? I love it.”

My Thoughts:

Love this sweet cute Christmas story! I loved that this is tied into Madelyn’s Bolts of Love Series! It was so fun hearing about some of the characters from that series (you do not need to have read those books to enjoy this novella, just gives you a bit more background on the one who wrote the letter and his father)

This was such a fun quick read! If you love a sweet romance with Christmas this is one not to miss! Wyatt and Rebekah are super cute! Wyatt’s puns cracked me up! This is just a feel good snuggle up with a warm blanket sipping hot cocoa type of read!

Thanks so much to the author for the ARC copy! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was a nice, cute little story. Sweet characters, but not a lot of depth. I'll admit, I wasn't sure about the whole "Mrs. Claus letter" thing, but it didn't seem to have too much of a role in the story--at least not for anything that couldn't have also happened without it--so it didn't bug me too much. There wasn't a whole lot of drama, which I appreciated, and although it was very insta-love-ish, I did like how obviously good they were for helping each other work through their issues. The whole "hating Christmas" thing never quite rang true, as it was more dealing with bad memories from prior Christmases than disliking the holiday or the holiday activities themselves. (Not that I minded that.) Overall, it wasn't deep, but it was generally sweet, so if that's what you're going for, you might enjoy this. (Also, if you like accountant puns...) ;D

Yet another great Christmas novella in this Letters to Mrs Claus series. I loved the immediate banter between these two main characters - it was a fun change to have both characters be very extroverted. The romance was cute (very fast paced and insta-love, no slow burn here!), but what I really appreciated was how the author managed to fit quite a bit of character growth/healing into such a short amount of pages. Seeing both characters learn to like Christmas again was fun.

Thank you to Madelyn Smith for the ARC copy of this book. All opinions in this review are voluntary and my own. 😊

Content: clean, kisses only (non-descriptive), talking about wanting to kiss, light cuddling and hand holding, a woman says a man wasn't willing to 'wait until marriage'

••I give 5 stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

~They’re extroverts, they’re neighbors, but they don’t do Christmas…

“You Madam Dragon, are my unexpected possibility.”

CHRISTMAS Wishes and ACCOUNTANT Kisses, is an adorable, delightful holiday romcom! It is book 12 of the lovely Letters to Mrs. Claus multi-author series-a kisses-only romantic comedy collection bursting with holiday cheer. While this may be a novella, it is delightfully written in such a way that it feels much longer! It is packed precisely and lovingly with such witty and kitty dialogue, humor, swoony moments, holiday vibes. I thoroughly enjoyed watching two neighbors unexpectedly go from being insta friends to something more. Watching hearts melt, and walls come down with the possibility and reality to love was lovely. I loved that while this is a lighthearted story, it also is filled with such heart, feels, and depth. Love makes all the difference within this dear story! Absolutely worth the sweet read, any day!🎄📚❤️

Well, we have come to the final book in the Letters To Mrs Claus series and boy does it end with a roar. I LOVED this novella; it was so freaking adorable, I was actively squealing whilst reading it. I mean legs kicking, arm squeezing, verbally giggling cuteness.

Wyatt is an accountant by day and picks up shifts as a pizza delivery guy in the evening. The minute he meets book dragon Rebekah, there is instant chemistry, and they are both hooked.

But they actually spend time talking to each other and getting to know each other. They have dates, ice skating, and helping out at Christmas service events. They don’t really do Christmas themselves, but they like to help out others, such as gift drives for the less fortunate.

Yes, it was insta-love, so if that’s not your thing, then this isn’t for you, but I have no problem with insta-love and loved watching Wyatt and Rebekah grow closer and spend their time together. No drama or miscommunication, just love and support and laughter.

This was my introduction to this author, and if her other books are as sweet as this one, then I’m going to devour them like Christmas cookies.

What a great end to a fabulous series.

Rebekah and Wyatt are new neighbors. Wyatt comes to Rebekah’s rescue when he hears a loud noise and yelling next door. The two immediately hit it off and decide to be friends. In the short amount of time they are friends, they begin to be there for each other. Work events, parties, and fun nights out. Friendship quickly turns to more. Can the two have a future together and let go of past hurts?

What I loved:
🎄Small book with a big punch
🎄Wyatt and his accounting puns
🎄The cute nicknames
🎄Sweet moments
🎄They both know each other so quickly and can read moods
🎄Wyatt and Rebekah challenge each other
🎄The epilogue 😍😭🥰

Okay, I’m just going to say it. Madelyn is the QUEEN of novellas. I have been absolutely loving them. This one may be my new favorite. I laughed so much, hello, puns! The instant attraction and friendship between the two neighbors was believable and fun to watch the relationship unfold. There was depth to the characters and past hurts to overcome. It was like a full length novel packed into a novella. This one is perfect if you’re in need of some holiday cheer and lots of laughs.

There’s nothing sweeter than falling in love at Christmas time, and this novella captures all of the excitement and emotion perfectly!

This one wraps up the Letters to Mrs. Claus series and it’s the ideal closing chapter to what has been a fun series.

Wyatt and Rebekah are cute as can be and their instalove brings back memories of falling in love with my husband. Theirs is a whirlwind of a courtship and it made my heart very happy.

This was such a cute Christmas novella! Wyatt and Rebekah hit it off right away and they had deep connection. Loved seeing their opinions on Christmas change with some nudges from family and friends and of course a well timed letter from Mrs. Claus.

Favorite parts:
-their meet cute
-how he “rescued” her from the smoke alarm
-loved the names they gave each other in their phones.
-how encouraging Rebekah was and how protective Wyatt was.
-all the accounting jokes.

Favorite quotes:
My neighbor is a very pretty woman, and I’m standing here with a mouthful of pizza.

“You know, Rebekah, I feel like we’ve connected on a cell-ular level. You see, I know my formulas, and the best one is you plus me.”
She fans her face with her free hand. “Mr. Accountant, I never knew a man making spreadsheet puns could get my heart racing.”

A splendiferous tale that does not grow stale in the telling . It is a treat for the holidays as well as salad days you remember always ….like the writer of a certain letter to Mrs Claus . Hudson you see had a thought about his mate Red ‘s son Wyatt and him finding his one true love like he had with his Darla long past but he remembers fondly his canny lass and this something his friend’s son deserves to have. Him to be given the thought of how important it is to have love in your life ,maybe by taking a wife? Or at least have someone special to share the holidays with…Pineapple on pizza ,if you don’t like the idea then look away because young Wyatt can eat it every day . He works at a pizza place yet still has one to eat at his place above the joint ,case in point it’s two floors to get up there and he has a neighbour he is yet to meet …until he hears a scream and a thud ,doesn’t sound good so investigate he should …. “I’m Rebekah, graceful with a dash of occasional clumsiness, and book dragon with a sizable hoard.” Well Wyatt his heart does a little flutter after a small stutter before he says. “Mind if I help you with your bookshelves, Madam Dragon?” “Do you always give people you just met nicknames?” She says tilting her head. “Do you always invite neighbors you just met inside to help you unpack a mess of boxes?” Ooh this banter is good and it’s getting me right in the mood to comities reading their story . My appetite is well and truly whet …“ Touché.But I have a good feeling about you, Wyatt. Most men don’t volunteer to help a woman they just met unpack boxes” Well he doesn’t seem to need much coercion but maybe he has an aversion to her but how can he I thought as I read when he’s supposed to be canny. But you make your own mind up when you read it instead of me giving their story away. I read and enjoyed my senses engaged and impressed with the writing so awesome and bold . The greatest of stories ever told are about love especially ones you can be sure of . And this wholesome story by Madelyn Smith is sunny and funny and cuteness and light and I loved their friendship ,a delight and with each other to start before she stole his and he stole her heart. Scrooge buddies ,that’s the thing that makes these two hearts sing . Wonderfully adept writing with depth . I almost wept! Tearing! Their chemistry is so cute and endearing . Beautifully well crafted and of the characters I’m smitten. The wit is top tier and the storyline divine ,Take it from me ,you’ll have a good time ,the storytelling is sublime .

I loved this Christmas Novella. Madelyn nailed another one. I’m a sucker for insta love and that was definitely the case for these two neighbors, Rebekah and Wyatt. They went from strangers to more in no time.

They made a good pair with them both being Scrooges. When it came to charity, their dislike toward Christmas vanished momentarily. I loved seeing the reaction Rebekah showed at the Children’s Gift Giving event. It was sweet to see her emotions come out.

Rebekah: “Seeing the pure joy these simple presents bring not only to the children but to the parents has done me in.”

Being an Accountant, Wyatt sure had plenty of puns up his sleeves. They are hilarious. His present at the White Elephant Game made him so giddy—office supplies galore.

Rebekah: Mr. Accountant, I never knew a man making spreadsheet puns could get my heart racing.

Wyatt: I pull her in front of me, wrapping my arms around her waist. She fits perfectly and I never want this moment to end. “I love looking at Christmas lights with you, Beks.” She hums, tilting her head back to look up into my face. “Why is that?” “Because you’ve brought back the joy of Christmas. And you’re beautiful. And it’s romantic. And today is adding up to be one of the best nights of my life.”

Rebekah: She pushes up on her tiptoes, placing a light kiss on the bottom of my jaw. You and your puns.

With the letters he receives from Hudson (good ol’ guy) and Mrs. Claus, Wyatt gets some advice about friendship, love, and spending time with family.

Wyatt: Through these letters, I weave a bit of hope, a whisper to take a chance—because love is the greatest gift and it’s waiting to be unwrapped.

Wyatt: Mrs. Claus said to keep my mind and heart open to unexpected possibilities, and you, Madam Dragon (I love the nickname he gave Bekah), are my unexpected possibility. I seal my words with a kiss.

Nothing is more important than the people you love.

This was a feel good, book with friendly banter, humor, sweet moments, and times to shift your focus back toward the love Christmas brings. And, what a way to top it off by spending Christmas with loved ones.

⭐️⭐️⭐️️⭐️/ ️🌶️

I’ve read books where one MC is not into Christmas and through the story, they discover their love of Christmas thanks to the other Christmas loving MC. Christmas Wishes and Accountant Kisses, by Madelyn Smith, may be the first book I’ve read where both MCs are anti-Christmas and discover the joy of the season together. The last book in the Letters to Mrs. Claus series, it closes out the series perfectly and leaves you truly in the holiday spirit.

Like all the other authors in this series, this story is an easy, short read. It has all the sizzle without the spice and Mrs. Claus worked her magic on two unsuspecting people. Wyatt and Rebekah are new neighbors and when they meet the chemistry is instant and undeniable. While neither are into Christmas, they do enjoy helping others who are in need and begin to do things together. They both love to be around people and quickly deepen their connection by spending a lot of time together. Both of them were a joy to get to know and I loved watching them get closer.

Each of our MCs have their own reasons for not getting into the Christmas spirit and they are valid. Wyatt’s need for socialization was a refreshing outlook on an accountant who normally are written as shy and awkward. I adored how he let Rebekah in quickly and without hesitation. Rebekah meets Wyatt when he thinks he’s at his worst, but sees past that into the great guy he is underneath it all.

Madelyn truly captures the magic the Christmas spirit can have on people, especially as they find people who see them for them and not for their circumstances. As Wyatt and Rebekah rediscovered their love for Christmas with each other, it allowed them to move past hurts and let downs. A truly heartwarming story that is a must read!

As always, review any author notes before reading.

What to Expect:
🎄Next Door Neighbors to More
💋Extroverts
🎄Christmas Service Projects
💋Emotional Healing
🎄Christmas Parties
💋Not into Christmas Spirit
🎄Small Town Romance

Wyatt was a young child when his mother passed away, and from his point of view, the townspeople gave him looks of pity, and Christmas was full of secondhand gifts and clothes. Now, he’s a successful accountant and a well-liked person, and he hasn’t been back to his home town since he left for college. But he doesn’t do Christmas. At all.

He’s happy with his life (or, rather, he thinks he’s happy), until he meets his new neighbor, Rebekah. Turns out he didn’t know what happiness truly was until he met her.

Rebekah has her own reasons for not liking Christmas, most of those reasons centering around her ex-fiancé. He was from old money, she was not from any substantial money, but she thought they were in love. Then he cheated on her. She broke things off, and rightly so, but she thinks she’s not in any way ready for another relationship.

It’s cute how people say those things, like “I’m not going to date anyone for a while” or “I’m happy on my own” or the million other phrases people tell themselves and others when deep down, they really just want to find someone who will love them completely. How do I know, you ask? No, I’m not Mrs. Claus, but I have trod through the waters of finding someone who will love me unconditionally. And I found him, when I looked my absolute worst. Kind of like how Wyatt meets Rebekah.

Anyway, it’s adorable, watching these two being instant best friends. This book made me laugh out loud, and it made me cry, because I feel everything, all the time, and there is no off switch. I cried because there are some realities in this book for what it’s like at Christmas for families in need.

Overall, I loved this book. It took me on a ride of emotions, and it was well-written, fun, sweet, and romantic, and it’s the perfect story to end this series. I’m actually sad to be done; The Letters to Mrs. Claus series has been a wonderful journey. Happy Holidays to all!

I received an ARC copy from the author and even though I wasn’t required to post a review, I wanted to offer my honest, voluntary impression upon finishing it.

I have read and enjoyed all 12 books in this series and it seems the best was saved for last! This is a sweet no spice story about two people who don’t like Christmas for their own reasons but meet when Rebekah moves in to the apartment next to Wyatt and when he hears a crash knocks on her door to see if she’s okay. As the saying goes it’s love at first sight and this book gives glimpses of their relationship for the next four weeks leading up to Christmas.

Though Christmas music may not be their favorite genre, they find as they spend time at events together that Christmas festivities aren’t that terrible after all if you have someone to go with you that you really like! Wyatt receives a mysterious letter from Mrs C the day Rebekah moved in so could it have been chance or fate? Who knows but you’ll love how it ends up!

I throughly enjoyed this story of two people who meet and can’t dismiss the attraction even though it is apparent from the onset that this meeting is definitely different than they’ve known in their pasts.

I heartily recommend this book and might I also add all these books in this series as ones I know you’ll love! Truly the best gift of all is love and that’s why we celebrate Christmas to remember Him and the love He has for each one of us because of His sacrifice on our behalf!

This Christmas remember the true meaning of Christmas and let these books help you recapture that feeling again and again as you reread them when you need to feel that spirit once again!

I am sorry to see this delightful series come to an end. I have enjoyed Mrs. Claus' matchmaking. If you think you can escape the love bug when Mrs. Claus gets you in her sights, you better think again. Just ask Wyatt and Rebekah.

Wyatt hears a commotion next door, and goes to make sure his neighbor is okay. When the door opens and reveals Rebekah, he is more than a little surprised and happy to see her. As he enters her apartment, the first thing he notices is boxes and boxes of books, but there is no television in sight. So, he decides to name her Madam Dragon. I knew this was going to be fun one as soon as the buttoned up accountant started with his jokes. Although the two of them are in agreement of their scrooge behavior, for different reasons, they are not too grumpy to play the part of elves. That scene was priceless.

I giggled like a little school girl for the vast portion of the time I read this book. Wyatt's accounting puns were more hilarious than dad jokes. Fuzzy socks, a facemask that refused to come off, along with burnt pizza and burnt hair made for an interesting night. Sweetness and charm with a side of pineapple on the pizza rounded out this wonderful instalove romance which charmed my socks off and added a little pizzazz to my Christmas spirit. Kudos to Mrs. Claus. Your magic worked once again.

Thank you to the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Christmas Wishes and Accountant Kisses is the final book in the Letters to Mrs. Claus series and what a way to wrap it up. I loved Wyatt and Rebekah from the start, especially their Oregon roots (Tillamook and go, Beavers!). They both have their reasons for not liking Christmas, but together they find the spirit of the season. I loved how they instantly connected and became the best of friends that leads to more. Wyatt and Rebekah have so many funny and swoony moments that I couldn’t stop laughing and smiling. I absolutely loved the white elephant gift exchange and Wyatt’s accounting puns had me laughing. I enjoyed watching Wyatt and Rebekah rediscover the joy and happiness that comes with Christmas and what a difference being with someone that gets you can change your outlook on the holidays. They both were able to let the past go when they focused on helping the other. Christmas Wishes and Accountant Kisses, although a novella, was not missing on the heart and depth that often comes with longer stories. It’s a must read this Christmas!

My favorite things:
- Madam Dragon
- Wyatt’s rescues
- Wyatt’s donation
- White elephant party
- Accounting puns
- Wyatt liking Michael Bublé Christmas songs!
- The connection to the Bolts in Love series

Tropes: Christmas romcom = next-door neighbors = extroverts = strangers to more = hilarious mishaps = Christmas parties = small town = sweet kisses

Happy reading!

Let it be said for the record, I haven’t read very many Sunshine/Sunshine stories before, so I didn’t know what to expect going into this!  Having two extroverts that hate Christmas seemed like a tall order to me, but I remained openminded.

Wyatt was happy to eat his pizza in peace until a strange sound threw him off and he just had to go investigate!  Discovering a new neighbor, a pretty one at that, wasn’t necessarily on his bingo card that night.  Nor was jumping in and offering to help her out!  A new friendship was born!  And very quickly did the two fell into step in helping each other out in other ways.

Rebekah wasn’t expecting to find a friend in her new city, so quickly, but alas Wyatt was destined to cross paths with her.  This woman seems to thrive on people and her books, which is so curious to me as I’m ambivert.  No judgment to her though.

I loved they were willing to join forces on some of the awkward outings for the Christmas holiday!  Once it was explained of their reasons for being ‘bah humbug’ and bitter towards the holiday season, I felt they were justified in not being thrilled about the festive atmosphere.  I also liked that the letter that was written to Mrs. Claus was from Hudson, one of my favorite citizens of Bolt, Oregon!  The only thing I took small issue with was the element of instalove felt a little farfetched occasionally, but not too much!  This was an ideal length for lazy afternoon read!

What a cute addition to this series! Rebekah and Wyatt had such a sweet relationship... with a romance developing as quickly as their easy friendship. I couldn't help but find myself smiling throughout. Both of these characters felt like sunshine- despite their dislike of Christmas, and it just made for a really fun holiday read. (And they did both have good reasoning for their dislike of the holidays, which only made me root for them all that much more.) Theirs is definitely more of an instalove story, and having had my own instalove romance, I personally love that. It's the perfect bite-size holiday read with just the right amount of Christmas cheer... and punny math jokes... to make you smile!

Christmas Wishes and Accountant Kisses is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language. It is part of the Letters to Mrs. Claus series, a multi-author series of holiday novellas that can be enjoyed as standalones or in any order.

This is absolutely one of my favorite from this series. Operation Mistletoe Match letters from Mrs Claus brought you one of the cutest stories ever. I absolutely love reading about Wyatt and Rebekah. An accountant and a book dragon. Two people who have horrible Christmas pasts who meet and instantly have attraction and sparks. I mean really how can you not have instant chemistry when you both like pineapple on your pizza. That right there is special. These two learn through spending time together and trying to make good Christmas memories that there really is something amazing between them and they are exactly what the other person is looking for. This is a quick very enjoyable closed door kisses only romance. Funny, enjoyable but serious all at the same time. I have not read any books from Madelyn until this one. I will definitely be reading more.

I received an arc of this book. Im under no obligation to read or review it. My review has not been solicited and the opinions in this review are my own.

This was such a sweet and adorable cozy Christmas read! It was so funny, and warm, and full of Christmas spirit! I've never heard of a Christmas white elephant gift exchange but I really like that tradition! It definitely seems a lot more fun than Secret Santa!

I love Wyatt and Rebekah so much too. They're both extroverts while I'm more of an introvert, but I still found myself really connecting to them. They were so sweet and adorable together! I love all their accountant flirting and puns! I love how they were both able to help each other overcome their previous tragic experiences with Christmas and how they rediscovered the joy and beauty of Christmas. Christmas is a truly magical season and I felt like that vibe was perfectly captured in the book.

Overall, this was really short but sweet and delightful cozy Christmas read! I'll definitely be re-reading it multiple times over the Christmas season!

Fun fact about me — I took an accounting class in high school and aced it, so right out of high school, I decided that I wanted to major in accounting. It wasn’t for me. I still love numbers and budgeting, but I am so glad that I didn’t make it my career. I did enjoy the many puns that Wyatt threw around in this book, though.

Now, back to the important matter here. Book 12 of the Letters to Mrs. Claus series, Christmas Wishes and Accountant Kisses. I haven’t read anything by Madelyn Smith before, but this definitely won’t be the last. I love the writing style, and if her other characters are anything like Wyatt and Rebekah, I’m in.

This was so cute. I loved the meet-cute between Wyatt and Rebekah. Rebekah is 100% me — “graceful with a dash of occasional clumsiness, and boo dragon with a sizable hoard.” I knew I liked her from the very first chapter. Also, as a fellow pineapple goes on pizza person, I connected with Wyatt and Rebekah over that, too.

If you’re looking for a cute, Hallmark Christmas vibes novella, then give this book a shot!

Perfect end to a very entertaining festive series.

Wyatt, the accountant with a secret pizza delivery side hustle, and Rebekah, the book-loving neighbour who moves in next door, were just adorable together. Their first meeting was full of sparks, and from there the story followed them as they spent the weeks leading up to Christmas getting to know each other.

What I liked most was how natural their connection felt. It wasn’t just about attraction it was about friendship, laughter, and finding comfort in someone who understands you. Both of them had reasons to dislike Christmas, but as they shared little traditions, helped at community events, and simply spent time together, they slowly rediscovered the joy of the season.

The banter between Wyatt and Rebekah was lighthearted and fun, with plenty of witty moments that made me laugh.

It was heartwarming, funny, and full of holiday spirit.

Really loved each book in the Letters to Mrs. Claus series and appreciate the fact that they were clean romances.

Thank you for having me on the team.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series, Letters to Mrs. Claus. so sad to see it end. I will definitely be re-reading this series. Wyatt and Rebekah were great characters. I especially loved Wyatts nickname for Rebekah “Madame Dragon”. I was so happy when they both found a reason to enjoy and to embrace the Christmas Spirit. There is some really great moments in the story. I loved the item Rebekah used as her white elephant gift for the gift exchange, especially as it was much more valuable than the gift limit, and there were other things that could have been done with it. One thing I enjoyed in these books was Mrs. Claus’s letter to the recipient of the wish, and especially her ending of each letter “With mistletoe kisses and a heart full of hope”. I have to apologize for the late review, I finished it before the book was live on Amazon, and forgot to write myself a note to write it when it was released.
I received an arc this story from the author via BookFunnel and I am voluntarily leaving my review.

The twelve books in the Letters to Mrs. Claus series had me on cloud nine. I am a sucker for funny, loving, lucrative, corny, magical Christmas stories. I am a sucker for Hallmar like books. They keep me grounded and put me in a bubble of happiness while the world around me is in chaos. Christmas Wishes and Accountant Kisses was just as adorable as the other stories in this series. Wyatt was adorable in the dorky, introverted, accountant kinda of way and Rebekah was just as scroogee as Wyatt, but in a girl next door kind of way. Their banter and puns hit the mark. Wyatt had me at Hawaiian pizza because I am just as dorky as he. I loved Rebekah's reply to Wyatt when they first met... "I'm Rebekah, graceful with a dash of occasional clumsiness, and book dragon with a sizable Hoard." Too adorable! This book had me smiling all the way through. I am glad that Wyatt and Rebekah became a couple and that Mrs. Claus's magic from the North pole worked. This has been one of my favorite Christmas series by far!!

I'm a sucker for grumpy-sunshine neighbors getting together because that was my story, but I went into reading Christmas Wishes and Accountant Kisses with zero information about the plot other than the fact that it was a Christmas book (and if you haven't watched Madelyn's Instagram reels promoting this series, then please do because she plays an awesome Mrs. Claus). Given the title, I thought this book would be a workplace romance. Even though it wasn't, it was beyond relatable. The couple in this book are perhaps the most realistic couple I have ever read of in a contemporary romantic comedy. The way they joke and banter with one another is so sweet. I did feel like the ending was a bit rushed, but that doesn't take away from my rating of this book. I was simply left wanting more and not wanting their story to end so soon. Christmas Wishes and Accountant Kisses is superb. Add it to your TBR list right away!

I loved the accountant themed flirting😂🔥
'“Mister Accountant, your usefulness is depreciating the longer you keep me away from chocolate.” Oh my word. That woman. She can’t talk accounting with me and expect me to keep my flirting contained. “Madam Dragon, we’re going to need to audit our friendship, because if you can pull out those types of numerical words, well, your appreciation value is much higher than I first expected.”'

“Anything with you is a good memory, Beks.”

Madelyn Smith did good with this story! She knows how to do just the right amount of swoon and fun romcom vibes. I really enjoyed experiencing the instalove, being stuck by lightning, and getting hit from the blindside love elements. Love is just sometimes like that and you are wondering what just happened. You will love this quick 2 hour novella. I know I did.

There are no swears, no alcohol, and level 1 kisses only. Dual POV.

Is a sweet next door neighbor, new friends to more, Christmas romance with no cliffhanger.
Some of the lines I really like --- a bit of hope, a whisper to take a chance—because love is the greatest gift, and it’s waiting to be unwrapped. --- “Do you always give people you just met nicknames?” --- "did we just become best pineapple-pizza-loving friends?” --- "Worldly things come and go—jobs, money, friendships—but a companion who is there for you everyday? That’s the best treasure to hold onto." --- "but sometimes the brawn needs a chance to show he’s more than just muscle and that he really does have a pretty heart.” --- “It might work better if you didn’t look like you were auditioning to be a lump of coal in my stocking.” ---
What does Rebekah do with her engagement ring from her ex-fiance?
I loved Rebekah and Wyatt's story and I'm sure you will too. I've loved everyone of her books that I've read and I can't wait to read her next book.

I want to start by saying I received an ARC of this book. This is a clean romance book and part of the Letters to Mrs. Claus Series. The main characters are Wyatt and Rebekah. They are neighbors and neither of them like Christmas. Some things they do have in common is they are extroverts and like each other. Christmas is coming so they end up going and doing some Christmas activities together even though they don’t like Christmas. The more they do together and the more time they spend together they fall even more for each other. Will the two people who don’t like Christmas find love during Christmas? Will they end up changing their minds about Christmas? I love books when one of the characters is a Scrooge but I love that they both were in this book. They make an amazing couple and get along so great. They are both awesome people. I loved watching them grow together in this book. This book could probably be classified as insta-love which I love. Overall, I think this was a great book.
