In Homer, Alaska, bald eagles have thrived, even during the late twentieth century's population decline. While they may migrate in winter if food is scarce, they also fare well in cold climates. This eagle was spotted returning from a coastal fishing trip near the Homer Spit.

Although rather short, it perfectly encapsulates Hamza’s love for nature and capturing moments most of us don’t see or even know is happening. It has opened my eyes to the world around me, knowing I don’t need to travel far to see nature and appreciate it.
Tigers and polar bears move over, dragonflies and pine martens are where it’s at! I say with humour but realistically we should make an effort to protect all species of animal and plants alike. If any of you are nature lovers or are simply just looking for a good book to get you started in all things natural, then this is the book for you!

Side note: now I am really determined to go to Scotland.
