I'm an author and a middle school Social Studies teacher. I absolutely love what I do. Hanging with a bunch of funny, sarcastic tweens all day while ranting about social justice? HELLO dream job! I also love reading, snuggling with my dog, everything Bravo, going to concerts and traveling to new destinations.
My book, "Would You Rather? Made You Think! Edition," is available for preorder on Amazon NOW with an official release date of August 18th.
Another great set of would you rather questions for a space curious kid. There was a great mix of science, sci-fi, and whimsy questions that lead to some silly and serious discussions.
One of the questions I really appreciated, was: Would you rather interview Neil Armstrong about the first moon landing or Katherine Johnson who did the math to get him there. It lead to so much discussion about how the scientist behind the scenes do so much work but often get little recognition - and now my kid wants to check out more books about her and other overlooked scientists.
I did have to change some of the sentence formatting around a bit to make it easier for my kids comprehension level, but overall this is one of their favorite series to read and helps them come up with their own questions. It has saved my mental bandwith on a few trips too!
Would You Rather? Outer Space Edition by Lindsey Daly has a great mix of thought provoking and goofy questions making the book feel balanced and light hearted while also opening the floor for deeper conversations about our cosmos.
I appreciate that the book has a how to play guide and is broken up into sections by subject.
