'Aaron' is the first book in Kathi S. Barton's "Dresden Pride" series. Right from the start, I will say this book is vastly improved over some of Ms. Barton's previous releases. Aaron is the oldest of the Dresden family of tiger-shifters. He's also a detective on the local police force and a semi-retired FBI agent for the President of the United States when needed. Mac is an FBI agent sent to work undercover. There seems to be women going missing in this small town, and she's been assigned to find out why. There are quite a few "coincidences" that come into play for these two to meet, then get to know each other. It's almost a slow-burning romance, which isn't what I'm used to with Ms. Barton's shifter books, but as I said at the beginning, it's a vast improvement.
