When Mac, his right hand man, finds a dog trainer he meets the women he never thought he’d see again. Sam is the best dog trainer around. Not only is she an entrepreneur, she’s a big sister whose little brother, Mikey, is knee deep in trouble with some not so legal loan sharks. She comes across a job request that she can’t refuse. If she wants to dig her brother out of the hole, she has to take it. When she walks in she meets eyes either the man who rocked her world in a one night stand. Will they both get past this to help Leo? Or will it turn into something worth keeping?

The story has steam, danger, emotional growth and some humor. Seventy pounds of Leo and his shenanigans soften the edges of the harsh brutality of dangerous people. An interesting and satisfying ending.

I loved this book. So many feelings from both Wes and Sam throughout. The push and pull of what if's and should I or shouldn't I was crazy. I got all emotional when she was taken (even though I had a feeling it would happen), with the fire, and just the end of the book itself. Plus all the steamy scenes!

You know that you are going to have a very good day of reading when it’s one of Amy’s books. Samantha and Wesley are the type of characters that deliver some real emotions and the storyline has you feeling like you ate right there with them. I found this romance book to be a heart pounding, swoon worthy read that is phenomenal. Amy did a fantastic job with this book and its creativity.

Really Enjoyed Reading This Story!
Wow! This story was amazing, loved Wes and Sam’s story, Leo was something else. Loved how they met, what they went through with Leo, her brother and dealing with Kestrel and his bunch. Awesome how he chose love over everything else.

What A Great Read!
I just loved this story. It has the usual Mafia-type grime that swam just beneath the surface of everything, but it also had grit, passion, love, dogs, and all sorts of happiness. Amy Beck has a winner!

Who is he
Is Wes the sweet caring man that Samantha is training his dog or is he a ruthless mobster who kills with no conscience? Wonderful Characters and the story pulls you in from the first meeting they have. I highly recommend!!
