Absolutely incredible book! Definitely gives you the vibes of wow! Space and time to think about your own mental health and how this affects you can change you as you read each page each word. There are unspoken shocking moments in terms and twists that you don’t even think possible. This book took me longer to read than I expected, but it was a lot to take all at once. Absolutely well written and an eye-opener. If you ever feel that your life is spiraling out of control and you’re falling into darkness you need this book. It feels blunt , true honesty, and different perspectives that you don’t expect to even think about. This book definitely has changed my way of thinking my thoughts on my own mental health. This is definitely a game changer read. We all suffer in our own ways. We often have times that feel alone, isolated, and scared we have our own fears, but this book really Opens your mind heart and soul it’s blunt in parts, but it definitely helps change one’s ways in a heart beat! Absolutely worth reading and re reading. This book adds to my understanding and learning , will be something I keep near by when I feel like I am falling into darkness. This book is a life line no doubt about it. Wow !

I couldn’t put this book down! What I thought would be only a dive into how anxiety affects a person turned into a suspenseful story leaving me with my jaw dropped at the end of so many chapters. Just when you thought that you read the last twist, the author comes at with you another one.

The jump into mental health and how our past can affect where our minds go as adults really hit me deep. There have been so many instances where I feel alone and like I am the only one with problems. But little did I realize that the others around me won’t always show their inner pain on the outside. It was a nice reminder to not always judge a book by its cover and to take the time to really get to know someone.

If you want to take the time for some self reflection on top of a thrilling story, this is the book for you!

It was a page turner that left you not wanting to out the book down. It is a very easy read and I recommend it for everyone. The language and situations in the book can be hard bc or some bit of you can get past that to see the bigger picture it is truly an amazing book. One of the best I have ever read

Justin Spencer was the convocation speaker at the college that I work at. I got a signed copy from him so it was interesting to see how he integrated his own personal experiences as the main character of the book. The book is a short read, similar vibes to the tv show Severance (kinda). It’s an interesting plot but it’s very much a plot surrounded but a lot of dumping that makes the “takeaways” pretty clear. Take risks and live life I guess.

"In the end, we all die, so the best thing we can do is die trying."

"You must let forgiveness strengthen you, let purpose guide you, and realize: It's not the things you don’t have that matter. It's the things you do."

"If I knew that every person I admire, in real life or on social media, has the same struggles I do, then I wouldn't feel so alone.

And, most likely, they do."

"Pack light."

What a cool story, and the positive message by the end truly made for such an enjoyable read. This really helped put things in perspective for me recently, especially since I work full time in mental health. Just because you’re living, doesn’t mean you’re alive! So true. I can’t wait to read your next book.
