Deal Breaker by Lily Miller is her first book in the Deep Cove Millionaire Club series.
You will find tropes of second chance, small town, single mom, found family, secret child, and spice all wrapped into the idyllic West Coast Canadian town of Deep Cove.
In Deep Cove we meet our hero, Ford. When the love of his life left him seven years ago, he changed. Now he runs the outdoor brand Cove with his brothers. That loss impacted him in ways he truly couldn’t grasp and now he runs his company with organization and control.
In walks Landyn. This blast from the past has Ford reeling. He has no idea why she’s back. And although he feels betrayed, Ford wants to know why she’s left.
As the two continue to spend time together, they pick up where they left off, but is it truly that easy?
Landyn and Ford face battles. Landyn’s reasons are admirable for why she did what she did all those years ago. However, she fears Ford will never be able to forgive her.
This book gives some hard hitting emotional lessons and is truly a lesson in forgiveness and the beauty of being gifted a second chance.

What a great intro into Lily Millers writing! This was the ultimate second chance romance that I really didn’t think was going to be second chance. I have truly never wanted to slap a FMC Like I did with Landyn…. At the beginning once I got to know the characters and learn about the why. I am team Landyn and Ford! And Poppy. What a beautiful book of strength support and courage.
