Not especially cozy or cosy, despite the setting of Cambridge during a snowy winter, in a bookstore. All the characters except the villain are depressed, overworked, unsociable and generally uncongenial. The motive behind the murders was valid enough, but the detective work wasn't ingenious. I wasn't charmed.
