Dropped because of Harem

Stuck around for the OP MC originally and it carried me through to this point. The story, dialogue, and mannerism were not really doing it for me especially with the heavily anime inspired actions, reactions, and what not. It all became too much once the Harem fully locked in. I knew it was coming but was hoping it wouldn’t. It also kind of grossed me out with modern era teenagers attempting to make them apart of this harem, maybe that’s not what the author intended for but that age gap with everything else is just too much for me at this point.

Book made a left-hand turn when it should’ve turned right.

Of course this is my opinion. Only, you may differ. I have one question concerning the MC in the legacy chamber. Is he gonna keep all these abilities when he comes out? A totally boring book. Went really downhill fast from the previous book. The stories spend too much time in the legacy chamber, which is explaining the MC‘s heritage. The main story is not progressing. The MC has not shown any mature growth, as well as turning the MC into a Simp. and I found in my opinion. The story was a total bore. Had to skim through the chapters to get to the end. of the story besides that the book was left on a cliffhanger with the MC still in the legacy chamber. Read the story you may like it if you like this series. That’s what you need to decide as a reader. I don’t think I will continue this series.

It's good

If you like the previous books in this series, you'll like this one. My only quibble is there is an extremely long flashback /sidequest with the main character and it takes all the momentum out of the story, but it does eventually set us up for the next book. Everything else is great though. If you like the previous books in this series, you're going to enjoy this one. For the most part I'm not giving away any plot points cuz I don't want to destroy your enjoyment of the book. And I apologize for all these fell and errors on writing this review with voice to text. Hope it's helping

Great storytelling but much shorter than the previous book.

Great storytelling but much shorter than the previous book. It left off so much more that could have developed and felt rushed - seems like the publisher put a rush to make a dime to get this out quickly. Still, I enjoyed the journey.

Not as satisfying...

A lot of tropes in this volume. Gets pulled away. Those left behind have to defend themselves. But with Drake and what he leaves behind not a lot really happens. The stuff happening to drake does not really matter other than some main character shenanigans that might happen later. Overall not what I was hoping for.

side adventure; can skip and go to the next book in series

Spoiler: MC passes out and author takes a whole separate and only tangentially relevant story through an alternate timeline. Story is basically the cliche: "character sent to work prison until strong enough to escape."

I skimmed a lot. it got boring.

Also a recap would be nice. Only reason it is 2 star not 1 as I have hope for the series.
5 star - Perfect
4 star - i would recommend
3 star - good
2 star - struggled to complete
1 star - could not finish

It was alright

The rest of the series is better. All I will say though is the flashback/learning thing is way to long

side quests

Loved the first 3 books. But this whole book is a side quest. And what’s worse they’re didn’t even finish the quest

Skipped a lot of chapters and then some

I don't know what happened but nearly all this book is about really looking flashback, and the author seem to have given up.
