What begins as a vendetta fueled by hate turns into a love affair that threatens to consume both of them. Secrets, hidden identities, past trauma, and a cruel twist of fate force them to realize that the line between revenge and desire is dangerously thin. After all, all’s fair in love and chaos.
Camden As the President of Hell’s Heathens Motorcycle Club, my only focus is my brothers. They’re all I have left, and the only things that matter. Everything I do is to keep them safe. Until my entire world shifts on its axis when a fiery vixen dressed in leather steps off her motorcycle and runs her mouth without a fear in the world. I know I’ve found her, my queen.
But when she tries to kidnap me, and somehow knows my full legal name, I know I’ve got more to figure out than how to get her to fall in love with me. With threats coming from every angle, I can’t afford the distraction, especially one as strong and fierce as Saige Russo. I’ll do anything to keep her, even if it means holding her captive until she realizes we’re meant to be together, despite all the reasons we shouldn’t.
Saige Ten years ago, my family was brutally taken from me because of the actions of vicious criminals who live above the law. I’ve made it my life’s purpose to bring those men to their knees, with my eyes focused on the man responsible for their deaths. Camden Young.
Was becoming his prisoner part of my plan? Not even in the realm of possibilities. But one look at him on that bike, and the earth shook under me. For the first time in my life, I stumbled, and it could cost me everything. Now, I find myself locked in the Hell’s Heathens’ clubhouse, trying to conceal my identity. Torn between completing my goal to avenge my family and coming to terms with the fact that not everything is as it seems.

A romantic at heart, Jenn has always been a lover of books, and is constantly dreaming up heart-wrenching stories that will have you reaching for tissues and make you blush.
When Jenn's not writing, she can be found reading a spicy romance novel, watching scary movies, and enjoying her quiet life in New England, living out her real-life romance story.
The buzz this book gave me. I love bad bitches and the men that are pathetic for them. And the mmc my sweet boy 🥺 he was not at all what I would expect of a club member. He was just so sweet and worshipped the ground she walked on, even when she was being cold and pushed him away. The fmc was a baddie and I thought she was gonna be cringe but I genuinely liked her. They suffered so much and i loved how they love each other. Safety: no ow/owd he said he has a quick hook up once every blue moon and he hasn’t been with the club girls and they know better than to try with him💅🏼. No om/omd she’s experienced but no history given. What pissed me off is the fact that he didn’t go after her until she was in danger, for how taken he was with her until she escaped i was expecting him to go look for her right away but he just gave up so easily, said his loyalty to his club is above all else. Though the separation only lasted for a week I keep thinking would he have ever went to her if she weren’t in danger 😑 Note for the rest of the series: sin and malice were ok but didn’t really grip me and no info was given for them. Wrath is hot and i was excited for his book but hes a manwhore and has multiple on page scenes with club girls so skip his book.
All's Fair In Love & Chaos by Jenn Plummer 4,25/5⭐ 3,5/5🌶️
I'm so excited about this new series! I already loved the Hell's Heatens crew in Complete Me, and it feels great to dive deeper into their world. The story kicks off with a heartbreaking tragedy that affects Saige's family—she loses her parents and little sister in one night, which sets her on a quest for revenge against those responsible.
Then there’s Camden, the president of the Hell's Heathens MC. Like Saige, he has a dark past filled with grief and loss. His main focus is his MC family, prioritizing their safety and happiness above all else. But everything changes when he meets Saige. He finds her fierce spirit, bravery, and fearlessness utterly captivating.
Saige is a badass female character! She's independent, bold, and sassy—able to stand on her own two feet. I loved that even after her tragic loss, she didn’t let it bring her down. Instead, she becomes even stronger and more determined, making her a force to be reckoned with. I really admired her throughout the book. What I found so special is that Camden recognizes Saige's strength and treats her as an equal. He trusts her to fight alongside him, and he genuinely values her.
The chemistry between them is electric, and their passionate moments are seriously steamy! But what really tugged at my heartstrings was watching them open up to each other, revealing their vulnerabilities and starting to heal together. It was such a beautiful journey to witness them lower their barriers and learn to trust and love again.
And can we talk about the found family aspect? It’s so heartwarming! The members of the Hell's Heathens MC would do anything to protect each other, and I'm thrilled that Saige has become part of this family. Each member is funny and quirky, with their own personalities, and I can’t wait to explore their stories in future books!
"All's Fair in Love and Chaos" by Jenn Plummer was a hit for me. WOW, what a fantastic, enthralling enemies-to-lovers story! I got totally immersed in this world and with these characters. I haven't read many (if any!) motorcycle romances, but if they are all like this, consider me a fan. I could not put this book down... if I didn't need something as silly as sleep, I would have devoured this in one sitting, that's how good it was. I loved Camden and Saige. They are both such complex, wounded characters with infinitely alluring backstories. Saige experienced a tragedy when she was 18 that sent her down a path of revenge, and Camden is her ultimate target. She has racked up quite a body count looking for the man who changed her life for the worse. As President of the Hell's Heathens motorcycle club, it is his sworn duty to protect his club and the people in it from any and all threats. When Saige gets caught almost apprehending Camden, her feisty disposition, bratty mouth, and never quit attitude have him instantly smitten with her. It turns out that Saige might have gotten the story wrong 'lo those many years ago, and she and Camden quickly fall for one another while she is his captive. Their mutual secrets come spilling out the longer they bed one another. Sure, this book might require a *little* suspension of disbelief, but not so much that it felt inauthentic or unrealistic as a whole. This story is high, high, high and filthy heat. I devoured every last word of it! The story as a whole puts its foot on the gas and doesn't let up until it's over. It is brooding, emotional, mysterious, tense, and oh-so-sexy! I loved the situations, the intensity, the secondary characters, this entire messed-up but addicting world that Jenn Plummer has created. I cannot wait for the next book in this series!!
Thank you to Jenn Plummer and Smuthood Inc. for the complimentary ARC of this book. All opinions are my own. I was not compensated for this review.
Turns out, all's fair in love and chaos, because when a man like Camden falls, he doesn't just fall. He crashes, burns, and begs.
This story is pure adrenaline, a motorcycle club romance that blends enemies to lovers, secret identities, vengeance, and raw, magnetic desire. After losing her family in one devastating night, Saige is fueled by fury and out for blood. Camden, the Hell's Heathens MC president, lives for loyalty and control until Saige storms into his life and sets it all on fire.
Saige embodies feminine rage in the best possible way. She's fierce, untamed, and commands every page she's on. She isn't a woman you simply cheer for; she's the kind you stand behind, both in awe and a little terrified. Camden is her perfect match, man obsessed, protective to the bone, and completely undone by her. He falls first and hard, and the captor/captive tension between them is explosive, their push and pull dripping with danger and heat.
This book is chaos, passion, and power all rolled into one. It's filthy, emotional, and completely addictive. Between the grit, loyalty, and soul-deep connection, Saige and Camden prove that love isn't always tender; sometimes it's war.
And honestly? I’m ready for round two. 🔥

Thank you, Jenn Plummer and The Smuthood, for the ARC! 😍 All my bookish thoughts are completely my own. ✨
This is the first book in a new series and it has started with a bang! I didn’t want to put this one down, I was hooked from the start. I’m so deeply invested in this world and honestly just give me more of this MC club and all their antics
This book will have you laughing out loud, crying and over come with emotion and then set your panties on fire from the spice ❤️🔥
Camden, our club president, the leader who has been forced to shut down all emotion after his brutal past, is pursued by none other than our vigilante killer FMC, and what he gets is a big old gust of ‘this is my future queen’ he is so gone for her that he can barely believe it. And We. Are. Here. For. It!! But Saige isn’t going to fall for no bad boy charm that quickly..
Saige, the FMC, a firecracker with sass and spark that is so witty and entertaining. She kept me on my toes, no wonder Camden was head over heels for her!
This story packed so much punch and was so enthralling, I know this series will be incredible and I’m so excited for it all.
🖤Motorcycle Club Romance 🔥Enemies to lovers 🖤He falls first (and hard) 🔥Feminine Rage 🖤Secret Identity 🔥Captor / Captive 🖤Man Obsessed
5⭐️ 4.5🌶️
Bonus points for Malice, he is so highly entertaining and I cannot wait for his book. How Jenn got me going from emotional torment to laughing out loud was just 👌🏻 Plus those snippets we get of Reid and Kinsey… 😭🥹😍
Thankyou so much to Jenn and The Smuthood for this arc opportunity 🫶🏻
If theres one thing Jenn Plummer does best its a found family trope- combine that with a motorcycle club in a small PNW town? My kryptonite. When I found out my bb was doing a full MC romance series I could not even contain my excitement.
Saige Russo has been on a vigilante streak- ridding the world of terrible men in MC’s as she sees fit for redemption for what happened to her family. When her next mark, Camden aka Chaos of the Hell’s Heathen’s MC turns the tables on her- both of them got a lot more than what they bargained for.
This book was the epitome of enemies to lovers when they are actively trying to unalive one another but can’t seem to stop making out either…oh darn. Saige was a fierce FMC who truly thought she was making the world a better place and my baby Camden’s world was turned upside down from the moment he laid eyes on her. I loved seeing her walls come down and his down bad behavior turn from obsessed to touch her + 💀 in the blink of an eye. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Cannot wait to see where Jenn’s beautiful brain takes us in this new PNW journey but I know I’m thrilled to be here and i’m down to ride wherever!
This book was pure perfection. I loved absolutely everything about it. No notes. This was such a great start to the series. There was such great banter, tension, angst and world building that had me eating up everything and so excited for every character to get their story. There were a lot of emotions in this story but also so many laughs. The story had a little bit of everything.
Saige is a feisty bad a** and one of my favorite FMCs ever written. She could hold her own and didn't take anything from anyone. Camden was down so bad from the literal first time he saw her. Their meet cute is one of my favorites ever. There is a lot of trauma between these two characters and their story starts out as revenge. When everything starts to come to light, and they can't fight their feelings anymore, they have to learn to forgive and be together through that trauma. I love the way Jenn connected the characters.
I loved the way Camden never tried to change Saige and let her be herself. And the way the guys all stood with Saige and had her back despite her not officially being an ol' lady really showed thier love and brotherhood within the club. Those emotional bits with Reid and Kinsey really pulled at my heart strings and I'm glad we still get to see them.
✨ARC Review✨ All’s Fair In Love and Chaos By Jenn Plummer
“No, you’re much too violent to be my baby. You’re like a f***ing viper. Dangerous. Lethal. Beautiful.”
“Careful, I might think you’re jealous.” “Of what? Your tiny c*ck and your inability to find a cl!t? I’m good, I f*** myself better than you ever could.”
“Oh, baby, don’t get it twisted, you may be drop-dead f***ing gorgeous, but I’m talking about your attitude, your fight, your strength. That calls to me on a molecular level. That’s what I’m attracted to the most.”
I’ve spent years building walls so high no one could scale them, but Camden didn’t even try. He held the key and walked right through a hidden door like he owned me. Like I was always supposed to be his.
All hail The Queens and Heathens, and Jenn Freaking Plummer!!! This book is fantastic! Camden is the president of Hells Heathens and carries to worry and pressure of keeping his family safe. Saige is the strong, independent and feisty FMC I didn’t know I needed!! We follow them through MC wars and the pain of both their past traumas. I don’t want to give anything away so just do yourself a favor and read this one and fall in love with these Heathens and their Queens! What a start to a series and I cannot wait for more!

What a great way to end the month! I absolutely devoured this book in less than 24 hours and I had such a great time ! There’s just something about an MC named Camden 🙂↕️ they never do me wrong. Full RTC
—————————
I’m brand new to the Jenn Plummer-verse, so with this being only my second book read by her I am here to report that YET AGAIN, it will absolutely not be my last. I already can’t wait to continue on with this series, and there were a few clues (👀) in this one, I think, for what’s coming next! Count me in!
Jenn is here to prove that a story can have plenty of plot, not be 800 pages, and still deliver on all things swoon, spice (holy f*ck the spice 🥵), and HEA. This one had me hooked from chapter 1, and I’m not sure who I love more.. Saige, or Camden (AKA Chaos).
Saige is out for revenge on the motorcycle club that took away her family. She’s a vigilante of sorts, ridding the world of the men who poison it. She’s been doing this for years, hunting down those who harm, and exacting her version of revenge.
So when her target turns around one night and LITERALLY falls head over heels at first sight? Well, maybe being his captive isn’t so bad.. right? It could lead to some helpful information, and maybe he’ll let his guard down enough for her to strike.
Well, Camden is absolutely ENAMOURED with the gorgeous woman who just tried to kidnap him. Like, this man is DOWN BAD, will crawl at her feet, give her anything and everything immediately kind of obsessed. But man, he’s respectful. Kind. Caring. And just everything you could want in an MC. He’s got a filthy mouth, and he knows how to use it. And he does. And once he’s decided that Saige is his? Nothing and no one will come between him and his queen.
I loved everything about this book. These two had phenomenal banter. Great push and shove. HOT HOT HOT spicy scenes. They gave me plenty of giggles, and were truly just a great time wrapped up in a perfect motorcycle club romance. Saige is a complete badass, stunning, fierce woman, and I want to be her when I grow up.
These two have overcome so much. And together? They’re stronger than ever. Forged in fire. Absolutely beautiful.
I can’t wait for Malice’s book (I’m calling it now! He’s mine!! You can’t have him 🤣 I don’t know why I always love the crazy deranged ones, but I’m not mad about it!) I’ll be looking forward to the rest of these books, and forever be recommending Jenn’s books to anyone who will listen.
Oh man, this is a tough one because All's Fair in Love and Chaos is clearly a book that could be a love or hate book depending on your preferences. Saige and Camden are both wonderful characters that felt real. They had unique personalities and honestly, Saige was such a badass that even if Camden was cardboard, they still would have been well done. Saige carried this book, but the plot was very well done. How can you not sit and root for Saige to get her revenge while also trying to figure out what all actually happened and how Camden is going to "redeem" himself in Saige's eyes?
But as much as I love the romance genre, I hate it almost equally. So often we are given amazingly well crafted characters in a plot that keeps you wrapped up and interested from start to finish. All of that to have the book dragged down by unnecessary and near gratuitous amounts of smut scenes. When it comes to my preferences in romances, I can take or leave spice. I truly don't care. The problem was with this particular book, every time we had a sex scene, it spanned at least two chapters; sometimes they made no sense to the plot and slammed the pacing to a halt, and the epilogue was also a sex scene. I get it. It's become the standard in romances to be heavy with smut, but the sheer number of them in All's Fair in Love and Chaos killed the pacing and took a solid 4 star book down to barely a 3 star.
Overall, it's a great book. It's dark, and bloody, and fun to read. You'll love Saige and Camden because Saige is unhinged and Camden is down bad from the moment he sees her. The book is even better if you skim the smut scenes so you don't get pulled away from the actual plot.
🖤Enemies to lovers 🖤Feminine rage 🖤He falls first & fast 🖤Man obsessed 🖤Hidden Identity 🖤Captor X Captive
Every time Jenn writes a book I am continuously left in awe and usually emotionally damaged lol but I wouldn’t have it any other way🖤
As devastated as I was when Aspen Ridge came to an end, I was so glad Jenn decided to start this series with some of the characters we met in Complete Me (book 5 of Aspen Ridge).
This first book tells the story of the Hell’s Heathen’s President Camden “Chaos” & his Queen Saige. Their love story is so unconventional, and evolves so organically, and so heartbreakingly beautiful through tragedy and loss 🥹🖤 I loved this story with my entire heart and soul.
Camden & Saige's banter is off the charts and their chemistry is undeniable, no matter how much hatred and hurt lies between them. My heart was broken and hurting for both of them so much, and reading how Camden and Saige had to navigate through their pain and hurt and heal each other was an incredibly well written journey. I don't know how much else to explain my love for this story, and I can't wait for the rest of the series <3
This was my first Jenn Plummer book, and it definitely won’t be my last. It was dark, delicious, and absolutely filthy with spice. This is more of a character-driven story with a little plot, following Camden and Saige, two people dealing with grief and pain who find their way to each other.
Starting with Saige, I loved how ruthless, strong, and bratty she was while trying to come to terms with her feelings for a man who took everything from her. Camden, the president of the Hell Heathens Motorcycle Club, is completely obsessed with her from the moment he lays eyes on her. He’s a powerful character, but he also has a soft side that melted me. The tension and fire between them were incredible, and the spice? Absolutely filthy and I was so here for it. Shaking and squirting are some of my guilty pleasures to read about because, honestly, it’s bloody hot.
Lastly, this didn’t quite hit a five-star read for me, and that’s purely down to personal preference and my tastes as a reader. I tend to lean toward more realistic scenarios, and there were a few moments that felt a bit unrealistic as an example, the motorcycle spicy scene.
I look forward to reading more of Jenn’s work hopefully in the near future.

I absolutely DEVOURED this book from start to finish. The suspense immediately hooked me from page one and it just continued to get better and better.
Saige experiences a life changing moment that completely changes her as a person and has her wanting to seek out vengeance. She’s an amazing FMC and a total badass. Camden motherfucking Young!!! God this man and his mouth 🥵 He’s the president of the Hell’s Heathens MC. He falls fast and hard for Saige immediately even though she couldn’t despise him more 🤣 but this man is only soft for her. The banter between them was so good and the spice was hot as hell!!! They both have filthy mouths and these scenes will live rent free in my brain.
There’s also so many emotional moments that truly show how hard Camden fell for her. They both went through trauma and their stories are devastating. He’s also this big tattooed biker who wants to take her on dates and learn her coffee order. Are you kidding me I was a damn puddle!!
I also absolutely love all of the side characters. They’re hilarious and I cannot wait to get their books. I was so happy to see glimpses of Kinsey and Reid because I love them so so much.
This was my first book by Jenn Plummer and it was the blurb that caught my eye.
At the beginning I had trouble getting into the story, finding a connection to the characters. It took about 30% until I was fully convinced. After that it was an easy flow. Driven mostly by Saige and Camden's banter and connection.
However, there was a lot going on in this story and sometimes I wished for the one or the other to be explored on a deeper level.
Not sure if I connected enough with all the side characters to return to this series. We will see.
ARC review: this was my first book by this author and certainly won’t be my last. I loved Camden and Saige’s story and am heavily invested in all the Hell’s Heathen’s clan. The spice was SPICY!!!! All the peppers for this one. I’m also a simp for insta love and he falls first and HARD! This man might be Chaos but boy does he give golden retriever energy. He worshipped the ground Saige walked on and while they truly had to overcome insane obstacles I love how it ended.
What an amazing start to a new series! We had drama, spicy spice, connected pasts, complicated nows, uncertain futures,
Saige is vigilante trying to make the world safer & honour her family.
Camden is the president of Hell's Heathens MC.
They meet because he is heading to a meeting to discuss her (he justdoesn'tknow it yet) & she is trying to end him. They are both dealing with some insta interested feelings which mean they aren't at the top of their game. He ends up taking her back to his clubhouse to try and figure out her story. And to keep her close. Things just get more tense, heated, complicated, and intense from there. So good!
Saige is an incredible woman and character. She is doing what she feels needs to be done and when presented with new information, doesn't just ignore it completely. She takes it. She processes. She sits with it. She chooses what it will mean for her. And I loved watching her choose herself, choose happiness, choose safety, choose family. Hers is not an easy road, but it is beautiful.
Camden. Camden is a beautiful man. Yes, he has his Chaos side that some may not like, but I am a fan of all of him. He is caring, loving, protective, intense, and powerful. And he is carrying a pain from his brother's feath that is unimaginable. I loved watching him fall immediately for his queen. Twitterpated from the jump and I am here for it.
Loved the two of them together, loved their progression and adored how they fit into each other's worlds.
I really enjoy Jenn's writing. She crafts stories that both my heart & brain connect with. Her characters are incredible & I cannot wait to read more of their stories!
I received this as an ARC and am beyond grateful. This had zero impact on my review.
There is a serial killer on the loose targeting MC members. Hell’s Heathens prez, Chaos/Camden calls a meeting of the local clubs to get to the bottom of the murders, but a run in with a mysterious biker forces him to return home. Saige is determined deliver retribution to those responsible for her greatest loss but taking down her biggest target proves to be tougher than she thought it would be, especially when he is determined to make her his queen.
Readers who like the following will enjoy All’s Fair in Love and Chaos: 🏍️ MC Club 🖤 Enemies to Lovers 🏍️ Captor/Captive 🖤 Secret Identity 🏍️ He Falls First and Hard 🖤 Angst & Spice 🏍️ Romantic Suspense
Camden and Saige are my favorite kind of chaos! I’m a sucker for a man who becomes instantly obsessed and Camden is that man! I also love a vengeful, badass heroine and Saige is that bitch! They have that chemistry from the jump! It’s impossible not to feel devastation when you learn of the truth of tragedy between them, knowing it could break them in the end. The both required a healthy dose of healing and it was beautiful when they were able to find that in one another.
I am excited to have found a new to me author and new series to obsess over! I haven’t read a lot of MC romances and was excited to see this one pop up one day while scrolling through Threads! Book 1 already has me in a chokehold (the good kind 😉). I can’t wait to continue the series with Sin, Malice and Wrath but in the meantime, I have plans to read through the Aspen Ridge series.
Thank you to the author and The Smuthood for the eARC!
Saige Russo - age 28 (aka Vixen, Viper) She was 18 when her parents and sister were killed in an accident Her sister Willow was just 14 when she died
Camden Young - age 36 (aka Chaos) Became President of the Hell’s Heathens motorcycle club when he was 25 His brother Lucas was murdered by a rival MC
It’s been 10 years since Camden and Saige had their worlds turn upside down.
Camden still aches for the loss of his brother but now uses that loss to avenge others that have been done wrong by rival MC’s by helping get them to safety and a better life. A life better than he and his brother had growing up. They also do work to support the community around them. He has his “found family” with the patched members of the club otherwise, he doesn’t let anyone else get close to him. He protects his family at all costs.
Saige is still full of rage and seeking revenge not only for her family but also others whose lives were destroyed by motorcycle clubs that rape and pillage and the justice system fails them. She’s fierce, fearless and out to destroy. She’s a stone cold killer. Taking down Camden Young is top of her list.
That take down doesn’t go as planned. Saige becomes the captive vs the captor. This is the beginning of two tortured souls finding peace and love. Their story is a fight to the finish (literally).
Highly recommend. I was hooked from page one.
No 3rd act breakup. Make certain to read the trigger warnings.
Preordered this book as well as the rest of this series. Sin’s book is next.
Thank you to Jenn Plummer and The Smuthood for the opportunity to read and review an advanced reader copy.
This was my first book by this author and I want MORE!
Saige & Camden were ferociously beautiful together. Their tragedies intertwined them and made their story even more beautiful. I can’t wait for more stories of the other men in the club.
Hot motorcycle men ✔️ Hot female vigilante ✔️ Two characters destined for one another ✔️
Thank you to the Smuthood and Jenn Plummer for this ARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
ARC Review ✨ When two broken souls collide, there’s bound to be an explosion… and maybe a handcuff moment (or two 😏).
“Two people who had their lives ruined and were looking for vengeance because of it.”
All’s Fair in Love & Chaos gives us a fiery, independent heroine, Saige, who’s fueled by vengeance and refuses to back down until she gets her hands on the dirty-mouthed, brooding MMC, Camden.
This story has it all: character growth, raw emotion, and spice (hello, motorcycle scene 🥵). Even while battling his own grief, Camden would walk through fire if it meant easing Saige’s pain.
Watching Saige slowly realize she deserves happiness, even through the guilt, felt like seeing a flower bloom through concrete. And Camden, the tough-as-nails MC president who carries the world on his shoulders while protecting everyone but himself? Swoon.
A gritty, emotional ride filled with passion, pain, and healing. You won’t regret adding this one to your TBR. ❤️🔥
⚠️Please check trigger warnings, your mental health matters
This book has a spicy FMC, a vigilante, with a painful past. She meets the man who caused her past to be so dark, took the most important thing she had. The ma who made her the dark woman that drives him crazy. The woman full of power, full of snippy remarks, fire in her eyes and her veins.
Saige loses the most important thing to her at a young age. She wants to make sure she rids of the world of the scum, meaning mostly those in motorcycle clubs that use their money to have police and judges look the other way. She finally finds the man who took her family and makes him her next target.
Cam, aka president of Hell’s Heathens, finds this woman who wants to capture and kill him. Why? He doesn’t know that. All he knows is she drives him crazy from the second she gets off her bike. He’s determined to make her his queen, despite how much she obviously hates him.
Thank you to Smuthood Inc. for this ARC in exchange for my honest review. I really wanted to enjoy this book, unfortunately I struggled not to DNF it several times. When I read the blurb and tropes I was definitely intrigued. The potential was definitely there, but sadly it didn't deliver for me. I did mostly enjoy the first 15-20% I would say, like it was building and I was hopeful, I was still intrigued. But then there was a lack of depth in both the characters and the plot. Saige and Camden were our MCs. Their chemistry was there in theory, but I kept waiting for more development and instead another spicy scene would get thrown in. The smut felt thrown in there, it was just on a loop of fight, and smut but I don't feel it was purposeful. And then when Camden took her on a really sweet date it didn't feel like his character at all. There was a disconnect for me. I also learned that "sweet cream" is a hard no for me. The main conflict is that Saige is withholding a secret from Camden about their past, but I struggled to understand why she wouldn't have told him from the second they met. There really wasn't any reason given to us for her not to, so that was a plot hole for me. She was also supposed to be this badass vigilante that's taken down all these men so it didn't make sense to me that she ended up as Camden's captive in 2.5 seconds. They then spent the majority of the book in his room at the clubhouse. I think he's 36. He also has a man bun which was a no for me and also threw me off because it doesn't match the guy on the cover. With one of the tropes being "he falls first and fast" I knew to expect insta obsession vibes. But by chapter 3 we were already getting "my queen" and I just didn't feel that it was built up enough within that very very short amount of story to warrant possessiveness. I couldn't with the MC nicknames (Malice, Sin, Wrath, Rogue, Rolo, Pestilence...) and the repetitiveness of using "Church" to describe their meetings. Overall it was a really intriguing concept, but it needed more development, and more balance between spice and story.
I really wanted to like this book. The description pulled me in, and knowing it was the first in a series, I was hopeful I’d found my next obsession. The prologue was mysterious and captivating, and it immediately made me want to know more. Each of the main characters’ backstories was harrowing and tragic, which drew me in. But, as the story went on, I felt that the depth I was hoping for never developed. The story ultimately fell flat for me. There was little to no character development, and everything seemed to happen instantaneously, leaving no room for real growth. By the end, it all started to feel a bit surreal.
Saige harbors a deep hatred for Camden, the man who wronged her and turned her life upside down. Camden, the president of his motorcycle club, is rough around the edges, tough and hardened What unfolds over the course of a few days seems a bit rushed; she is kidnapped, they hook up and are in love. In the midst of Saige being hunted for her vigilante deeds the decide to go on a date. At most her hatred for him her beating him up and stealing his bike. His character turns a 180 and is in love and is all about Saige. Much of the story takes place in his room, and it isn’t until the final 20 percent that any real plot development begins to emerge. A lot of their violent moments turn into foreplay; like when he kidnaps her, when they’re ambushed, or even when they’re killing people together. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it did start to feel like the spice kept cutting into the story’s flow. After a while, it followed the same pattern: some plot, a fight, a hookup, another fight, random date, they make up, then right back to the plot.
Touch her and die Forced proximity Motorcycle gang Enemies to lovers Dark romance
I never expected “Vixen” to become a nickname I’d adore, but Jenn made it impossible not to. Every time Camden called Saige that, I found myself giggling and grinning like a kid, those little moments captured their chemistry so perfectly. This story had everything: sharp, playful banter, beautifully woven emotion, and spice that didn’t just sizzle but deepened their connection. I wasn’t just reading; I was fully wrapped up in their world from the very first page to the last. A book that makes you laugh, blush, and feel every beat of the characters’ hearts deserves nothing less than 5⭐️ and 5🌶️🥵. (I was given an ARC copy for a honest review, thank you!)
ARC Review of All’s Fair In Love And Chaos Book 1 of the Queens and Heathens Series by Jenn Plummer. I am obsessed with Motorcycle Club romances and I absolutely loved this book I have been dying for this series since meeting the Heathens in the book Complete Me. This is definitely a 5 star read for me. This is Camden aka Chaos and Saige's story. I loved all the secrets, suspense, angst, tension, and push and pull between Chaos and Saige. This is a small town, spicy, slow burn, 7 year age gap, feminine rage, revenge, vigilante, captor/captive, hate to lovers, darker motorcycle club romance with graphic violence Camden is 36 and is known only as Chaos his MC name, he is the president of the Hell’s Heathens Motorcycle Club. Saige is 29 her family died in a car accident when she was 18. Saige has a deep hatred for motorcycle clubs and she especially hates Camden and wants revenge against him, but Hell’s Heathens isn’t like other Motorcycle Clubs they fight to protect people who can’t protect themselves, they seek out justice for those who can’t defend themselves. Saige tries to abduct Chaos while he’s on his bike but her plan backfires and he captures her instead and keeps her captive at the Heathens clubhouse. Camden falls for Saige the second he lays eyes on her he falls instantly and extremely hard he knows she’s it for him she’s his queen but he doesn’t trust her and he has to find out what her plan is and why she’s doing it and get her to stop hating him and to trust him in the process. Saige has a secret identity and hidden agenda and Camden has no idea who she really is. Saige has so much rage inside of her similar to Chaos they both understand the unimaginable grief of losing a younger sibling and the need for vengeance. I love how fierce and unafraid Saige is, she stands for justice even if she has to take matters into her own hands and go around the law. I love how she stands her ground with Chaos and goes toe to toe with him even when he has the upper hand she doesn’t back down or cower. I love how even though Saige hates Motorcycle Clubs she loves her motorcycle and rides better than most guys I also love that she’s a trained fighter and can physically take care of her self. Chaos as been through a lot and lost so much with losing his brother I am glad he finally found his queen. Saige and Camden’s history is very complicated but I love that they are together and that Saige can work through her anger and let Camden in. I highly recommend this book
Guys. I need a moment to calm down. Because this first book in the new Queens and Heathens series by Jenn Plummer?? It’s utter PERFECTION!!! From beginning to end, I was either giggling, screeching out of pure joy, fist pumping the air in triumph or wistfully wishing that Camden ‘Chaos’ Young was mine for the keeping! I’m not exaggerating either when I say I may be more in love with the FMC Saige Russo than Camden himself! She’s holding on to a lot of trauma.. her parents and sister were killed 10 years ago and she’s been on a rampage ever since to avenge their deaths. And who does she think was one of the sole people involved?? Yep - you guessed it, Camden and his MC club the Hells Heathens. Their first interaction however sees Camden fall head over heels at first sight for Saige. She gives as good as she gets, she can fight and ride her bike as good, if not better than any ranked member and she’s drop dead gorgeous. He’s obsessed with her vicious sass and that she pushes back against him, making him work for her affection. And by god does he have to really work for her to trust him, to trust he won’t hurt her and that eventually she’ll fall in love with him. Naturally he claims her as his own instantly, despite Saige attempting to try and kill him at their first meeting which results in him taking her hostage at his compound. Emotions run high for the first 40 odd percentage of this book- mainly hate from Saige and lust from Camden! Saige has to work really hard through her feeling of hate and rage for Camden because soon enough he’s breaking down her walls and she begins to have feelings for him that she feels deeply guilty about. But couple that with delicious, sexual tension and chemistry that jumps off the page?? Well, it explodes into some of the most epic spice between them… but shall I tell you what’s even better? That Camden has been a shell of his former self for the last 10 years after the brutal killing of his brother Lucas and Reid’s sister Lena, but meeting Saige has shown him that there is a life to be led other than worrying about the compound and that more than anything he wants to make her happy for the rest of his days. He’s got a cold exterior which melts instantly for her, shocking not only him but the rest of his MC crew! And speaking of them, we get some insight and get to know his ranked members- Wrath, Malice and Sin and Mr Bun Buns himself! There’s a strong found family element here which just reinforces that the next books in the series are going to be equally exquisite! Oh and theres a hilarious group chat to contend with too! I couldn’t put it down but also didn’t want it to end! Spectacular writing as always from Jenn
I’m obsessed with Jenn and this book!! I was so excited to see that we were getting an MC romance series from Jenn, especially after meeting the Hell’s Heathens in Complete Me. I knew it was going to be next level seeing Cameron “Chaos” Young fall for someone, because he was as broken as Reid had been by their past trauma, and I was absolutely right. I also love that, like most MC romances, our Prez fall first and hard for his woman. That was absolutely not reciprocated at first, though, and it was great to see Chaos find someone who could match his energy and dark side, and who wasn’t afraid to speak up for herself even to an MC president. I loved and admired Saige Russo with everything inside me. She was such a badass boss bitch and I want to be her when I grow up. She wasn’t afraid to stand up to Cameron even in front of his club members, and I loved it as much as Cameron did. These two both had trauma in their past, but I loved that they did their best to work through it together, especially after finding out how their traumas were linked. It was amazing to see them heal their broken pieces with each other’s help; it took some time for them to trust each other, but once they did they started to mend their hearts and find their way to each other. Cameron Young had just as filthy a mouth as you would expect from an MC Prez, but dang was it fun to see that Saige’s mouth was just as filthy. It surprised Cameron a few times, but I love that he only wanted more of it. One thing I really loved was that Cameron never stopped Saige from doing anything (even stabby things); he always supported her and wanted her to live her life, as long as he could be by her side while she did. These two may have butted heads, even after they started to fall for each other, but it was perfection and they were absolutely made for each other. I can’t wait to see what happens next at the Hell’s Heathens MC with Sin’s story!
