Embracing The Bond #12

Daring Her Vampires: Embracing The Bond

Rate this book
She lives for family, wishing for her own.

Sally is a rabbit shifter who revels in the chaos of her found family. She hides the details of her past, choosing to live in the moment and love every day to the fullest. Secretly, she has wished for a fated mate, someone who would be just hers. She thinks her time is over, that it is too late to find the one meant for her. She creates her own rules and breaks through the misconceptions about how a woman should act. Many have underestimated her animal, her power, and her love. She thrives on the pleasure of proving them wrong. When two vampires enter her world and claim they are her mates, Sally dares them to love her.

Atlas will do anything to protect his family, even ignore his pride and ask a bear shifter for help. The last thing he expected was to find the woman meant to be his. He was turned into a species he hates, and it has taken years to accept the life he agreed to. Portraying a calm he has never truly felt, he dreads the day he will lose control.

Luca is a vampire on the edge. He relies on his brother to rein in his anger, repressing a childhood that shaped his hatred for anyone except his siblings. Humans mean nothing to him, and making friends with others like him is pointless. Finding himself in the middle of a mixed group of shifters and vampires will take all his self-control not to fight his way out.

Vampires are possessive and selfish. The brothers are shocked when a sexy rabbit shifter challenges everything they have believed to be true.

Even though it’s rare for their species to share a mate, they will have to fight their instinct and take the gift the universe gave them.

Daring Her Vampires is the twelfth book in the Embracing The Bond Series, a stand-alone, rabbit shifter, vampire, steamy, paranormal romance. A guaranteed HEA where the female character ends up with two vampire mates.

Due to explicit language, graphic sexual scenes, and violence, this book is intended for mature (18 years +) readers.

Don’t come for me for this…

I didn’t like Sally here 🙈🙈. Trust me, I’m just as shocked as you are.

But if you’ve followed what I read for any amount of time you know I love a fierce and strong woman except in the bedroom. Give me all the alpha male. Give me all the Dom vibes. Sally felt a bit too dominant in the bedroom for my taste 🤷🏻‍♀️.

That being said, this story still felt so right in this world and I mostly enjoyed Atlas and Luca. I loved the tidbits for the next book and I won’t stop reading this author.

Just okay

I love this series but this book was all talk and very little action. I think the new books should have a family index at the beginning so we can keep track of who is who. Then there could be less repetitive info. I love the whole family vibe and the way nobody does something stupid without including them all.

REVIEW:
Daring Her Vampires is the 12th book in T.D. Edwards' Embracing the Bond series that continues with Sally's story who was introduced in book 6. Rabbit shifter Sally's past is finally revealed in this story when she meets her fated mates. Sally became part of the found family of vampires and shifters of various species when she followed her best friend Saylor into town. She hides details of her past while secretly wishing for a fated mate who would be just hers. In come vampire brothers Atlas and Luca to change everything when they all meet and feel that they are fated mates. When Atlas and Luca first meet Sally at her workplace was an exciting moment as they all find out that they are each others fated mate even though they are vampires and she is a rabbit. Atlas will do anything to protect his family even ignore his pride and ask a bear shifter for help.

Luca's traumatic past has left him with so much anger that his older brother is the only one to help rein him in. All of them are shocked to be fated mates at first though they are ready for whatever comes their way. It was a very touching moment when Sally, Atlas and Luca share their past history with their families that shaped who all three of them are in the present which have some bit of similarity. T.D. Edwards delivered a fun paranormal romance that gives Sally her fated mates in the form of two vampire brothers Atlas and Luca. Though there were a few long monologues at the end that I felt could have been shorter. This was a good read and I look forward to reading any future books in the series.

wanna play a game?

I waited what feels like FOREVER for our sexy rabbits story and every moment was worth it. Seeing Sally through the eyes of others was always a treat, her infectious enthusiasm for her group chat and just her fierce love for her family has always been my favorite thing about her. Finally getting her backstory filled me with dual emotions of outrage and understanding as to why she loves as fiercely as she does. NOW ABOUT THOSE SEXY MATES !! Atlas and Luca were both exactly what our girl needed, one the strong older brother who needed to learn to lean on someone else and the troubled younger brother who needed someone to love him for what he couldn’t see in himself.

Now that I’ve gotten my Sally fix, boy oh boy I cannot wait for our new jaguar shifter brothers to bring me to my knees next! To say I love this series would be considered a huge understatement, T.D KEEP THEM COMING !!! Can’t get enough ❤️

This is the 12th book in The Embracing the Bonds series, and it’s the story of Sally who’s a rabbit shifter and her 2 mates, Luca and Atlas, who are vampires. I have LOVED Sally since she was first introduced back in Freeing Her Cheetah. She’s hilarious and is the center of the entire found family. One day, 2 hot vampires, Atlas and Luca, walk into her workplaces, and everything changes. The bond kicks in, and the rest is history. The way her found family is SO PROTECTIVE of Sally, pulled on my heart strings. Sally has a troubled past, and so do her mates. Neither grew up how they wanted. God, I wish I could tell you everything. But I can’t. I absolutely LOVE this series, and I can’t wait for the next!!

Finally!!!

I have been dying for Sally’s story ever since she was introduced. I waited patiently though, and it did not disappoint!

Sally’s story is heartbreaking, as is her mates’. But Sally is a good reminder that sometimes the happiest, most selfless, and funny people can also be so sad and struggling on the inside.

Sally’s book also went a bit different than everyone’s before her and it was fun to see the twists. While mostly we see the sweet relationships build and her found family annoying the guys, we also got some action and a pretty big bomb dropped on us.

Amazing

Book 12, Sally’s story did not disappoint you guys! I loved every minute of reading it! There is so much more to Sally than we knew. I’m so glad to have gotten her story. I love how the family shows up for everyone but to see them all show up for Sally. That was amazing. Bash, he was a surprise in the book !!
Not to give anything away, but “You don’t bite your friends” hand me rolling !!
I knew one of the shifters would eventually do it and I was so glad it was Sally !!

Cheers to Sally!

Sally finally gets her ever after! It was so amazing to finally hear her whole story. Sally is unapologetically herself, and everyone loves her for it. Even the group texting which they all know they would miss!

I always knew she would have to have a harem and vampires Lucas and Atlas, sheer fireworks! I laughed, I cried, I needed a fan because they are hot!!! Enjoy!

I had to DNF this one. I was looking forward to Sally’s story after a long line of various HEAs, but I could only get about half way through this one before I had to call it. The story moves slowly, the details are in some parts barely there and other parts too far in depth, the story just wasn’t flowing well for me.

Really liked this one. Sally is fun. But there were things that frustrated me. There is no way Sally would have changed to a vampire without the family there. And other things that she kept the family out of. That is definitely not her character. She is the one always bringing the family together.
