Loved this spicy novella!

I’m just gonna be honest: this novella comes in HOT and never lets up. You will absolutely need one hand free to read this, because……..well you know. The way it immediately said “we’re not doing subtle today”? Unhinged in the absolute best way.

It’s fast, filthy-fun, and wildly committed to the fantasy. No warm-up, no easing in just immediate chaos, and instant chemistry. I kept turning pages like, “oh… OH… we’re doing that now? Ok!”

If you want a short hit of pure spice with absolutely no chill, this one delivers exactly what your unhinged little heart is hoping for. Thanks to the author for the arc.

Caught was messy, bold, and a lot of fun. Again, the first-person male POV really stood out, the writing makes it easy to imagine the scenes as if they’re happening to you rather than to a separate character, which added a strong sense of immediacy and heat.

The self-insert style, combined with the lack of fixed names, keeps the fantasy front and centre, and the unexpected shift from solo tension into shared chaos was handled confidently. The dynamic between “you” and J felt playful, dominant, and intentionally unrestrained, which suited the tone perfectly.

As an immersive reader, this was exactly my kind of short read. I’d happily pick up more stories, especially a longer one written in this same style.

It's a why choose fantasy with the men focusing on the FMC. I would personally love it if the men's swords crossed, but this one doesn't feature that, for those who are interested in the threesome.
