Such a cute cozy mystery series featuring twins as the main characters. Chelsea is more conservative while Michelle is always eager to solve the next mystery.

Ok, this one had the cozy mystery I was looking for! :) This is the 3rd book in the Novella Mini Mystery Series - you need to read their full book though, Transactions We Expose probably before this one, I didn't and I think I can see where I was spoiled a smidge on some things but by the time I get back to the full novel, I will probably have forgotten that info, haha.

But I have had fun with these mini-mystery novellas. This one is my favorite of the 3 I have read. I like how this one really focused on the mystery of someone missing and Michelle being a possible suspect.

Essentially, Michelle’s coffee shop is doing well but a a new coffee truck competitor rolls into town and then the owner suddenly goes missing. Blood stains are discovered on Michelle’s back door, she becomes the prime suspect, and her sister Chelsea jumps in to help prove her innocence.

The pacing really worked well, it was fast and engaging and I liked the mystery part the best. Looks like Michelle's love life is hopefully settling down too, we will see about that.

This has good faith and prayer content too with the sister's struggles as they learn to trust the Lord.

Looking forward to more in this series and I will eventually go back to the full length story before this one. :)

Thank you to the author for a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

*my heart*

This story! I didn't realize until rereading it that the friend group is so strong in this one! While the characters are all introduced in Transactions We Expose, you get to know them so much better in this one!

I can't wait for you to enjoy it!

4 stars. Yay, another mini mystery! This one fits in nicely between Transactions We Expose and book 2. I really liked how the stakes felt extra personal with Michelle under threat from the law, but remained low-key enough (at least in comparison to TWE, where I freaked out every time she went nosing around...). Kyle & Jeremy finally being on speaking terms delighted me, and I'm starting to warm up to J. (Eric, on the other hand, I hope to see disappear...) Chelsea felt extra rigid in this story, but Michelle was a bit chiller (or maybe she just had more helpers? anyways, I found she got herself into less trouble, which was my principal struggle with TWE). The message was solid, and I like how the authors pointed out christian growth is learning the same things over and over again. Finally, the cozy small-town vibes were delightful and the mystery wasn't too crazy while still being complex. Looking forward to book 2!

Content: mild, undetailed romance between M & J;

I had no idea what I was getting into with this book, but I'm HOOKED now!! The whole time reading this it felt like I was watching a Hallmark murder mystery, (which I love!! 😅)

This is a very short, quick read, but it felt like I had a whole novel, the mystery was just perfect. I will definitely be going back now and reading the previous books in the series!

If you enjoy a clean, cozy mystery with light romance and full of suspense, I highly recommend this one! 🩷

ARC review/4 stars

(Chelsea Michelle Mini Mysteries: book 3/Chelsea Michelle collection: book 4)

This is my favorite mini mystery in the series so far! There's a lot of intrigue as Michelle tries to prove her innocence in regards to a local disappearance. Right from the first chapter, I had theories on how the mystery would go, but certain aspects kept me guessing until climax scenes, as I wondered how each clue might fit together.

I loved the twins' growing friend group! Their dinner discussions were some of my favorite scenes because it really felt like I was sitting in on their close meetings, getting new perspectives for suspects while also enjoying lots of banter!

I could see how the twins are growing more as Christians in this story too. Their opposite personalities continue to clash as they each strive for control, but I loved the Bible verse references/prayers moments that remind them to reach for God's guidance.

As for the romance, it's clean (although Michelle and her boyfriend do share quite a few light kisses/hugs - almost too frequently for my reading preferences). I still think there are quite a few ways the matches could go with each twin, so I'm intrigued to see how that will continue in future stories.

*Side note*
This book has references to previous mysteries, including the full-length novel (Transactions We Expose). Certain characters are also introduced and treated as suspects in the full-length novel, so I'd recommend reading the collection in order to avoid spoilers.

*Content to note*
Scene of blood stain discovered near coffee shop. Discussions of potential murder (including references to previous mysteries) and speculation of how it may have occurred. Mentions of possible kidnappers. Discussions of man driving women to his house without their consent/refusing to let them out of car.

**Thank you to the authors for providing a complimentary e-ARC. All thoughts expressed are my own.**

Great mini mystery! I semi figured it out early on, but not completely.
Poor Michelle! Why is she such a magnet for trouble? And why does she run toward the danger?!
I hope she finally catches a break from all the drama. She needs to go on a much needed vacation. Away from guys!

There are some creepy clues that make me suspicious of other people in this installment for future stories. But no spoilers here.

Okay, this was fun. I had my suspicions as soon as certain people came into the story and I was right. I hadn't figured it all out, but that made it more fun. It was an interesting mystery and the reason behind it was cleverly done.
I do love both Chelsea and Michelle, but I don't like all the kissing Michelle does. No, it's not descriptive, but I still didn't care for it. I'm not sure what I think of the guy Chelsea is with. I don't think he's right for her, but maybe that's just me.
I'm looking forward to the next book.

What a fun story!

Having read many A.M. Heath books, I was sure I’d enjoy reading a different genre by the same author (and a new to me co-author!) No regrets.

I love twin stories, and this one is full of twin moments, suspense, friendship, and growing in Christ.

I hopped into this series a bit blind, but it was still really easy to figure out who people were. I need to go back and reread the previous books though now, because I loved all the characters and am sure I’ll enjoy those books too!

If you enjoy cozy mysteries, sister stories, and faith filled fiction, you should definitely check out this book and the entire series, too.

❤️Thank you Amanda and Anita for the ARC! A positive review was not required. All these thoughts are my own.

Full Review... 4.5 🌟

This was such a great mystery...I'll be honest I love mysteries but I've read and watch sooooo many that I feel like I always guess how it's going to end but I was so pleasantly suprised by the fact that this novella literally kept me guessing to the end! I'll admit I have my own preferences as to how I want Michelle's love life to go from here but I won't spoil anything I also loved the themes of trusting in God that was displayed throughout this entire book!!

If your looking for a great mystery full of faith themes with a super strong twin sister bond this is definitely your next read!!😁🫶

4.5 stars!

This was my first Chelsea and Michelle mystery. I found it very enjoyable. Definitely a nice cozy mystery. Chelsea and Michelle are twins. The story alternates between their povs. Since this is not the first story in the series I will say that you can read it without reading the others but it does feel like you are missing information so I would read the others first. That being said I really liked the characters. Especially that Michelle ran a coffee shop. There is good Christian content included as well. And I enjoyed the mystery. Overall, a great cozy mystery and I recommend!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

I’ve been enjoying reading each subsequent release in the Watson Twins Mysteries series (both the mini mysteries and the one novel) over the last couple of years. I’ve known that this book would be coming for a while, and eagerly anticipated its arrival. I’m so glad I got to read this! Of the four stories so far, I think it might be my favorite…maybe.

I did find myself somewhat confused at the beginning of the story. It’s been just slightly too long since I read the last book, so it took a while to sort out who all the different characters are again. There’s a bit of a character dump there at the beginning, so I definitely recommend you read the series in order if you can before starting this one!

My favorite part about this story, though, and the reason why it’s pretty close to the top of the pick for me is the community aspect. I didn’t pick up on that so much in Transactions we Expose or Chaos we Unravel, although I may have missed it in those two. In this story, there are multiple times where Michelle invites people over, so she has a “crew” to help the twins in their sleuthing. I love hospitality events centered around food in our home—it’s such a great way to pull people together!—so I loved how that played out for these characters. Plus, the guys’ protectiveness of the girls—and support for them, even when they didn’t agree with everything they were doing? Perfection. I appreciate manly men.

The mystery was intriguing. I do not try to solve mysteries as I read them; I much prefer things to just be revealed. I admit I did give myself a mental fist-pump, though, when one thing I guessed was correct. Haha!

If you enjoy cozy mysteries and stories about family, friendship, and community, with a strong faith thread, I’d highly recommend you check out this book and the accompanying series. This was a great read, and I’m looking forward to seeing what else Chelsea and Michelle get up to in future books!

I was given a complimentary copy of this book, and this is my honest opinion of it.

3.5 or 4 stars for its genre. Cozy mystery isn't the type of literature which I gravitate toward, but the Chelsea Michelle series is kind of cute. ;)

This was a light-hearted, contemporary novella. As others have said, I enjoyed the friendship dynamic and the camaraderie between the male characters.

The romantic aspect was not to my taste (especially Michelle's flirty, clingy version of it); and I'm also uncomfortable with the "doing wrong for right to come about." However, I appreciated the authors' note, which expresses their design to demonstrate growth in both young ladies, as their character arcs develop in future installments. I would like to think that these two drawbacks will become areas of character growth. =)

I think that when it comes to the police investigations and the "showdown," the story was somewhat lacking in realism, although I'm not sure that one would expect much more from the cozy mystery genre.

Switching between the twins' separate perspectives in first-person (with each chapter alternating between Chelsea and Michelle) makes it a fun read, as does the authors' engaging style. It did seem as though both the writing style and the plot were less developed in this novella than in the previous novel. Nevertheless, the story kept me turning the pages. =)

This Christian cozy mystery begins with the disappearance of Zach, a coffee truck owner, who is a direct competitor of Michelle. When Zach’s blood and shoe are found at the back door of Michelle’s Coffee Springs, she immediately becomes the prime suspect. Michelle, her twin sister Chelsea and their loved ones work together to clear Michelle’s name. The story was a a quick read and was told from both twins’ point of view. Sometimes, I had trouble remembering whose POV I was reading, but it didn’t really deter from the story. I enjoyed the storyline and had fun getting to know all the characters. I think people who read Christian cozies will enjoy this book.

I haven't read the other books in the series but was able to catch up fairly quickly with the characters in the story.

I loved how the twins were able to know each other's thoughts throughout the book!

The friend group that surrounded Chelsea and Michelle was awesome. It's so cool to have a great support system.

The mystery aspect kept me on my toes as I didn't know who was involved.

I received a complimentary arc. My opinions are my own.

Wow! This book had me guessing like never before! I always worry that a series will begin to get repetitive and predictable. However, in the best way, you can never 100% predict the outcomes of Chelsea and Michelle’s mysteries. I cannot wait for the next adventure!

This is a Christian mystery with clean themes and twin sisters trying to solve the crime who a amateurs it’s also a short read if you work or don’t have a lot of time to put in to reading .
It’s not all serious crime drama it’s also got some funny moments in it too . I highly recommend this book and will recommend this book to my family and friends

Hehehehe this was great. A cozy murder mystery where twins work to solve crimes and there’s coffee involved? Ok ok you need not say more. Oh there’s more? Christianity is intermingled and there are multiple suspects? Ho ho you’ve got me. A twin does some things that may or may not be legal to defend people? Well I mean that’s fine. Stalking and craziness? Hangout groups that are actually crime discussions? *squeals* I loved it!

What a sweet and cozy new adventure from our favorite Watson twins! I think it’s safe to say that I came for the mystery, but stayed for the sweet sister relationship! “Coffee We Spill” is full of themes of friendship and trust and has a fun mystery plot that will keep readers guessing. This story has been especially fun as we get to see Michelle and Chelsea’s friend group grow as so many people rush to help and support them.

Though this is not the first novella in the Watson Twins Mystery series, it can be read as a standalone if you’re okay with a couple spoilers. I am so grateful to have received this story as a eARC and share my thoughts on it with you!

Can twins, Michelle and Chelsea, solve the missing coffee vendor mystery before Michelle gets arrested? This is a cute, cozy, Christian novella that will keep you guessing and turning pages! Will the twins learn to trust God and each other through this challenge? I really enjoyed reading this story of amateur sleuths in a wonderful small town community.

Coffee We Spill was such a fun and cozy read! I really enjoyed the mix of mystery, light romance, and the warm atmosphere that pulled me right in. The dual POV from the twins kept the story moving at a nice pace, and I found myself quickly invested in the characters.

I especially loved the coffee shop setting ☕️ it added a comforting, small-town charm that made the story even more enjoyable. The mystery was engaging without being too heavy, and the clean content made it refreshing to read.

While I did feel like I was missing just a little background at times, it didn’t take away from my overall enjoyment. It is probably due to not having read the first books in the series, and it left me curious to pick up more from this series!

If you’re looking for a quick, clean, and cozy mystery with heart, Coffee We Spill is definitely worth reading.

As a standalone, this is a fun cozy mystery with some romance sprinkled throughout. I loved the found family vibes I got from this group of friends. Everyone was ready to step up and help out our super sleuth twins Chelsea and Michelle. The mystery surrounding a missing person went in ways I did not expect, which is always fun for me. I think if I were to have been able to read the other books in the series, I would have enjoyed it just a little bit more- I sometimes found myself mixing up the twins or other characters, and I feel that if I had read the other books I would have struggled with that less. I’d definitely recommend this for lovers of cozy mysteries, but would suggest starting at book 1 for continuity purposes.

Just like the first two mini mysteries, I like that there is a Christian atmosphere to this book. Several times they mention praying or even quote Bible verses.
This is another mystery where you just need to figure out the ending. I felt like this one was a little less cozy, as it went a lot deeper with personalities and emotions with the characters, and some of which made me not like the person quite as much. I was not expecting the outcome, but that is partially due to the fact that I can't imagine why people would do that.
Overall a cute, Christian, mini mystery series that I would recommend.

Another fun novella from Chelsea and Michelle! As always, there are many suspects to weed through and eliminate, with a surprise twist to the ending, showcasing the authors creativity!! The book is well written and the characters make you want to spend time with them and see what shenanigans they’re going to get into next! It’s always something different and the evolution of the characters from the beginning of the series to this story has been a joy to watch. Can’t wait for the next one.
