The third book in the Dark Faeverse series and thoroughly enjoyed. A dark read as series implies but still a great read. Love getting lost in these books and delving into the worlds created.

Third times a charm

Yeah 100% these men all suck. Like no rly they have like 10% of redeeming qualities in their whole bodies and it’s mostly being able to Dkmatize women. The ice fae definitely wasn’t my cup of tea. Book 1.) Thorn Court…he was a prick and stayed that way but he got…okay? book 2.)Never again for me. This book though was okay but like it kind of sucks that they aren’t catching fully on to Oberon being a creepy mirror 🪞 puppet master. Idc that man is way too invested in the girls being turned brainless. He is icky. If he gets a book it will be a hefty debate if I will read it. I don’t understand in this book why the older sister didn’t get some sort of punishment like just a splash of revenge would’ve been kind of nice… like her being fired..ANYTHING. I feel like the theme in these books. Is the woman realizes that these men dgaf about THEM they are all selfish. The “conditioning” for each of the girls has been different but slightly tragic. I hope in one of these stories one of the girls is able to keep more of themselves and is able to be an omega at the same time and the alpha loves them for all of it. Maybe that’s just romanticizing it but it would be nice just 1 just one alpha being nice from the start with genuine caring would be nicceee.

Either the author has some sort of severe memory issue that requires urgent medical attention, or this book is ai generated…

The first book in the series had a few weirdly repetitive conversations and odd moments, it definitely didn’t live up to the prologue, but was at least mostly coherent. The characters in the second book were so unpleasant that I skipped it.

This book? Is just utter slop, whether from human hands or ai. The result is slop. Occasionally hot slop, but still, slop.

Constant dropped threads and inconsistencies:

Thorian invites Maya to dinner… dinner doesn’t happen and is never mentioned again (in fact I’m not sure either of them even eats for most of the rest of the book). The “big day” is today, tonight, today, tomorrow, 3 days later. Maya has been doing her research 7 years, then 2ish. She’s 22, but something happened 2 years ago when she was 19.

The same conversations chapter after chapter, and occasionally even word for word only a few paragraphs apart. Logical and factual inconsistencies. The same conversation from the other main characters perspective in the next chapter, but it’s different and randomly pulls from bits of other repetitive conversations too, so maybe it was supposed to be a new conversation? Who knows, not the author.

The same information conveyed by 3 different characters in 3 seperate scenes, in exactly the same way, but it’s only the third time that Maya reacts like this is entirely new information. Sarah is straight up evil and the book points this out, but then whatever, nothing interesting there either.

The premise and prologue of this series are genuinely interesting, but this book isn’t worth the read.

ENTANGLED is the third book in the Dark Faeverse series, although you don't need to have read the others. There is an introduction at the beginning to give you an idea of what's gone on before.

Mara is the younger, always overlooked, and tossed aside sister of Sarah. They are both scientists, although their work is in different fields. When Mara gets the opportunity to talk about her work at a conference in the Vine Court, she takes it, understanding that it may be too good to be true, but fed up with being invisible. Thorian doesn't think Maya is invisible at all. In fact, she is the culmination of a long plan, one that he hopes will save his court.

Although there are still plot holes and time disparities, this was a whole lot better than the last book. The relationship between Maya and Thorian was better, although (obviously) still very manipulative. To be honest, I found the storyline with Sarah to be completely unnecessary.

According to the last chapter, it's off to the mountains for the Stone Court next. I am interested in how that one will work. Thorned is still my favourite so far, but Entangled is next to it. 3.5 rounded up.

Entangled is the third standalone book in the Dark Faeverse series (with a helpful intro recap if you’re jumping in).
Mara, the overlooked younger sister of scientist Sarah, finally gets a chance to shine at a conference in the Vine Court. She knows the invite seems suspicious, but she’s tired of being invisible. To fae prince Thorian, however, Mara is anything but—she’s the key to a desperate plan to save his court.
This installment is a big improvement over the previous book, with a stronger (if still manipulative) romance between Mara and Thorian. Some plot holes and timeline issues remain. 3.5 stars from me.

This is a good story that is a bit dark. It is the fourth in the new "Dark Faeverse" series but can be enjoyed as a stand alone. The world, characters and plot are creative. The story is set in the omega world where the alpha takes what he wants, the omega, no matter what. With that said the reader should know what kind of world this is. It is a steamy read where the alpha claims his mate but she claims his heart. I like the characters. The plot was intriguing with choices made and consequences faced.

This book was a pretty good omegaverse book. I loved the fertility scientist FMC aspect of the book. She literally is so desperate for validation, and he is so willing to give it. I wish it had more unique plot aspects and moved a little bit more than it did, but it still was really good. 4 out of 5 stars.

This is the third book in the Dark Faeverse series. In this book we are introduced to Maya and Thorian. As always, the writing and storytelling is high quality. Moderate pacing helps the story move along without feeling rushed. The dialogue was sharp and witty and the characters are nuanced and engaging. The spice is top quality and of course, the whole thing ends in a HEA. Overall, a great read.

Good story and could have been great

Really loved this story. Hate that I had to give it only 4 stars because of repetition of the same lines over and over, discontinuity that resulted in a character knowing or saying something then it completely changing later in the book. This needed good editing.
Even so this story is so beautiful, the characters three-dimensional and so likable. It really could have been great without the previously mentioned issues.

This book was all over the place; the flow of the story itself is off, gaps in timings, the plot was straight up AI slop. What a bizarre read! At times it felt like you were lucid and awake - a normal read - other times it felt like a confusing, smut filled, AI induced fever dream. The book is 20% plot, 80% AI smut slop. I expected better tbh. A bit disappointed.

On the plus side, the book cover is excellent. MMC is hot!

Entangled is book three of the Dark Faeverse Series.

There is a lot going on with this story. I was very interested to get to see the conclusion as I wasn't sure how Maya and Thorian were going to get their HEA. A lot of intense moments between these two. Really keeps you on the edge of your seat.

I'm very disappointed in this book. It had way to much science in it and Sarah didn't get what she deserved, Maya didn't even get to tell her off!! I'm highly disappointed, and the last 4 chapters just kept repeating the phrase "Any regrets" I had to skip alot of the book tbh. I'm gonna try the 4th book and hopefully it won't be as bad.

I love the cover of this book. I also love the story line. If you are into faes I recommend you try reading this book. The dynamic of the FMC is what drew me into this read even more. Especially with certain betrayals that happened.

This was a much softer and more touching romance than some of the others in this series. I liked just how intelligent Maya was as a character. Although her clinical approach to some of what was happening came off a little detached. It was her way of coping with things beyond her control. Thorian was intelligent as well but he was also extremely emotionally invested in Maya almost from the the beginning. There happy ending was sweet but had a tinge of bitterness. When it came to the faite of the Human Omegas who followed after them.

This one follows Dr. Maya Nakamura whose stress adaption research has brought her to the attention of King Thorian Verdanis whose court is dying as their fertility magic fades. For Thorian the virgin botanist is his only hope.
An entertaining story that unfolds with drama, betrayal, family dynamics, intrigue, secrets, breeding, love, desire, and passion.
Full of energetic writing and nicely crafted characters I enjoyed this imaginative narrative that was a sizzling read.
