When a group of high-society guests arrive to celebrate a golden anniversary, Grace braces herself for a week of snubs, impossible requests, and more champagne flutes than she can count. As always, she’s determined to keep the hotel running smoothly—with a smile on her face and just enough sass to survive the chaos.
But she’s not the only one juggling challenges. Granny and Gladys are swept off their feet by a pair of charming suitors—men whose motives may not suit their charm. Rebekah’s mother shows up, once again insisting her daughter return home to marry the “perfect man.” And when sweet Jilly is accused of stealing a priceless family heirloom, Grace finds herself in the middle of a scandal that could ruin everything.
With loyalty, laughter, and a little bit of matchmaking magic, the Winterwood family will face the trials of love, lies, and second chances. Because sometimes a new year means letting go of the past... and counting down to a brand-new beginning.
Perfect for fans of cozy, heartwarming romance with a dash of humor and mystery, Countdown to New Beginnings is a story about family, friendship, and finding joy in the unexpected.
**While each book has its own special charm, this series follows a continuing storyline with growing relationships and deepening connections. For the coziest and most rewarding reading experience, I recommend starting from the beginning and enjoying the journey in order.

Great story!! Looking forward to Grace and Cole’s wedding!! Definitely recommend this Holiday Countdown Series for you to read:)) Looking forward to reading more of Dianna Houx’s books!!! She’s a great writer!!
I mostly enjoyed this book, except for a few things. How about letting Grace and Cole get married already, not having so many mean guests, and not having Grace having to do everything by herself and be run ragged
This series of stories have spoken to this old granny's heart!!! I've fallen in love with the characters, laughed, worried and loved their personalities. I've escaped the worrisome times we are living in for the length of time
I am worn out from these 6 days! Sweet Grace - I hope she has a beautiful wedding. She and Cole deserve it. A lot goes on in this week before New Year’s. This book is fast paced and loaded. I loved it! Well done! 🩷
