"The difference between us is that we are willing to die for what we believe in, where you would only kill for yours."

Ahh what a wild ride this trilogy has been. I finished it inspired, with tears drying on my face. This finale transports the reader into Asher's timeline right where it left off in book 2, and the momentum doesn't let up until it's over. I will miss this motley crew of heroic characters. I love this author's narration style! His writing flows with page-turning ease. There's definitely a poetic or rhythmic characteristic to his authorship as well.

This trilogy has equal doses of humor and intellect. I love the philosophizing and theologizing in these books. The nuggets and one-liners of absolute mic-drops are digestible yet impactful. I think ultimately the second book is my favorite but this ending was satisfying, concluding with noble themes of sacrificial love and true peace. I definitely recommend this unique and profound trilogy!
