Creepy, chilling, and impossible to put down

This collection of short stories was exactly what I wanted—quick, eerie reads with real atmosphere and genuine scares. Each one feels different: small-town legends, a motel room that makes silence terrifying, haunted inheritances, cursed objects, and even things hiding in the walls.

The writing is sharp and focused, with no filler, just mounting dread and endings that stay with you. “Still Water” and “The Hollow Sound” especially gave me goosebumps.

If you enjoy horror that is unsettling, atmospheric, and perfect for a late-night read, I highly recommend this book.
