I loved the concept of this book wherein a baby growing it her mother's womb describes her journey - before conception to birth. It was fascinating to learn that the cell that becomes an ovum in a woman is formed when she is just an infant. I expected the book to be difficult to read with complex medical jargon and terminology, but was blown away by the illustrations and simple manner in which the 9 month journey of baby making was explained. It almost felt as if I was reading a story where there was drama, suspense and humor as the book explains the different activities that happen as the baby grows, by introducing actors on the scene who work on creating the various parts of the baby. Truly a fabulous read for both expectant parents and parents who want to relive and understand the journey that their children took to come into this world.
