I absolutely loved this book. It had great spice, and the female lead was so unproblematic which I loved. I also loved how they didnt BS in this book, like no annoying curves and twist. It was straight goodness

This series is so good, I love that there isn’t a miscommunication between our ML & FL, and that our FL is so straightforward in her own wants and feelings.
I can’t say much because I binge read this entire series in one go and everything escalated in the 2nd season. But this was such a beautifully drawn story that I really want to read the novel it’s based on to see more on what happened.
It’s exactly how the synopsis states.
Our FL and ML are students in the same class room of a small town. They co-exist and share an abandoned house together where our FL uses it to relax and study and our ML uses it to relax and sleep. Due to this they get to know one another and grow closer.
You get introduced to another character who is kinda like a 2nd ML and is super popular and attracted/interested in our FL.
There are moments in here that seems like it will go the typical route of a miscommunication trope and keep the drama going but it doesn’t. Our Main couple are quick to communicate and shut down anything that be mislead by the other and it’s very refreshing to read, especially because the personalities of each of them are the types that doesn’t bother to explain a misunderstanding because it is deemed unnecessary, but they do it in a way that’s very nonchalant and not like it’s just extra information needed to provide context.
For instance, it’s believed by the school that our FL is interested in the 2nd ML, when our ML inquiries about it, she quickly shuts it down by saying “why does he (2nd ML) have anything to do with her?”, and nothing more is said.
It’s just little moments like these, that completely stays true to our characters, but also offers no misunderstandings or misconceptions whatsoever, and it’s believed and trusted by the other party not needing anything more.
Our main couple have some deep scars with them about their personal home lives, that brings a lot of things into perspective for me, personally.
My rating for this 5 stars ⭐️

Qué belleza de cómic 🥹
La historia tiene un aura lenta y oscura debido a los trasfondos de los protagonistas pero te deja una sensación tan linda en los momentos lindos. Muchos cómics no funcionan después de que se realiza un salto en el tiempo pero en este caso se puso hasta mejor, conocer a los personajes en su madurez también fue precioso.
Sentí el final un poco abrupto pero el epílogo me rellenó un poquito más. En fin, amé esta lectura 💕
