This weekend we learn more about angels. Angels are identified as messengers of God, in the Hebrew tradition, Christian Bible and Quran. The word comes from a Greek translation of the word mal'akh (messenger) originally found in the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible). The word messenger is interpreted in different ways, as either a messenger from God, an aspect of God, or God Himself as the messenger.
