The Gist of this YA story is decent but especially in the beginning, some sentences were awkward or had missing words. Even after reading a sentence several times, I would give up on its meaning and just move on. Other times thoughts were worded in an unusual way, for example, saying "soak and wet" instead of soaking wet. I also had a problem with one of the characters bragging about catching and killing 20 dolphins when dolphins are a protected species. When you finally get to the end and look back, you can say, this was a good YA story, but the writing was a struggle for me.

I entered the giveaway for this book and ending up winning it. I was not sure what I was getting into when I first read the description, but it piqued my interest. This would not have been a book I would have come across on my own and I am glad I found it on the giveaways. Had I not won, I would have purchased to read. This is a great read.

Cool story, loved the scenes and the pursuit during a hurricane. Love's twist and turns, friends willing to go the extra mile, and a chance to get right.
