Six mail-order brides. One exasperating preacher. And a fiery chaperone who swore she’d never fall in love.
The last thing Valentine O’Malley expected when delivering a passel of mail-order brides to Wild Rose Ridge was a chance at love herself. Especially while butting heads with the town preacher. Micah Sutton craves peace and order. Val brings sass, stubbornness, and a fiery Irish temper. Add in the ever-gossiping “Busy Bees” and a funeral-hungry undertaker, and Val isn’t sure she’ll survive twelve chaotic days leading up to Christmas. But when Christmas Eve arrives, she must decide if she’s only passing through… or if Wild Rose Ridge and a certain steady-eyed preacher, could be the anchor she’s been searching for.
Kit Morgan, aka Geralyn Beauchamp, has been writing for fun all of her life. When writing as Geralyn Beauchamp, her books are epic, adventurous, romantic fantasy at its best. When writing as Kit Morgan they are whimsical, fun, inspirational sweet and clean stories that depict a strong sense of family and community. 'His Prairie Princess' is the first of the Prairie Brides books and the first in the series of a long line of stories about Clear Creek, Oregon. One of the wackiest little towns in the old west! Get to know the townsfolk in Clear Creek and come sit a spell!
NOTE: Hi folks, it has come to my attention there is an erotica book floating around out there written under the name Kit Morgan. IT IS NOT MY BOOK! I do not, and never will, write in that genre.
I love this story! Great characters, some kept me in stitches. A fun romance with a quaint little town with plenty of quirky characters. Pure entertainment and a sweet romance, couldn’t put it down!
This was a good story about Val, and six brides to be. She escorted them to Wild Rose Ridge to marry. They were to be escorted everywhere, and to get to know each other. Only problem, the preacher began to like Val, and was showing interest in her. Enjoy their getting together.
This book is like a warm cup of hot chocolate, it's soothing and comforting. Both the main characters were charming and it was just a lovely escape from the day-to-day. It's not a heartbreaking read or something that is going to shake you to the core. It's just a fun light-filled romance that is lovely. I recommend this read for anyone who loves clean romances especially if they enjoy historical fiction. The book is Christian which I appreciate but some don't, if that's the case, don't worry she's not going to bash you on the head with a Bible. There are quotes but Christian they relate to our Heroine's journey to love. So please don't skip out on such a pleasant read.
A matchmaker that is clueless? This one is always clued into what her charges are up to but when it comes to herself, not so much. It took a Preachers man who knew exactly what he wanted and finally found her. But how to convince her…?
What an enchanting story! I’ve read dozens of mail order bride books but none have matched the joy and laughter I experienced reading Kit Morgan’s book. It was delightful!
I loved Val and the Busy Bees! This was a super fun read filled with humor and charm. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series. What a perfect beginning of the mail-order brides.
