I can only bring myself to write a short review here. The author of this biography clearly knows a lot about the Charles Manson case, but this book is poorly structured. Each chapter starts by repeating details from the previous chapter, and some chapters just loosely tie relevant quotes together.

this was pretty bad, the progression was really jumbled up and certain facts would be repeated due to hopping back and forth chronologically. The author used too much slang ('the big adios', 'iced', 'got fresh') which was insulting and made it hard to understand certain facts. Felt like a cheap attempt to ride off better secondary sources.
