When I say I like stalker romance novellas I promise you this one will be recommended👏🏾. For this to be an authors debut it’s done exceptionally well. A lot of novellas I read claim to have plot, but it’s just smut; not complaining just saying🤣. This novella however had well written plot and back story for the mmc. I loved how sassy the fmc was and how she challenged the mmc even if she fell to her knees in the end because GIRL SAME😭.


Can’t wait to read more from this author.

This book is like every stereotype of a dark romance, but, somehow, I still had fun. Is it reinventing the wheel? Absolutely not. It’s nothing new, no incredible plot, not much plot at all. But I still liked the writing style and how the characters were portrayed. It’s short and fast paced, perfect to scratch that stalkēr dark romance itch.

We read this book only cause my Belle and I wanted to read the EMT guy book (the second one). And I gotta say that the sneak peek of Damien’s character was intriguing. I hope it’s gonna be funnier than this one 🤭

There were a lot of growls for being a contemporary romance 💀 buttttt I did love Killian’s dirty mouth, so he’s forgiven. The mouth on that man. Dāmn. Fūck. Me. lol

When I talk about stalker romance, this is exactly what I mean. A man who knows what he wants, puts in the effort to watch from across the road (or a bloody rooftop 👀), learns everything about the woman before the first encounter. I want him to know her favourite flower (mine is Tulip-Queen of Night and Karma-choc Dahlia), what knickers she wears to work and at weekends, and to see him fuming when she’s touched by another bloke. That’s the vibe.

And Killian? He delivers. Ex-military, used to giving orders… and let me just say this: fuuuck, when he does it, it’s hot as hell 🔥. He’s bossy, snarky, grumpy, and has one filthy mouth on him.

One of my fave scenes was when he broke into her flat while she was asleep — and yes, she woke up with him going down on her 😏. (Yes, I know, I need therapy. But darling… dark romance books are my therapy). The maze scene had me smirking, and that forest chase? You know it’s good when you catch yourself slowly licking your teeth like some feral gremlin 😂. Still innocent though. Promise.

What I loved in this book:
- Finally, a gang that’s not Russian is mentioned! 🙌 Even if it was only in passing (Chinese), it’s refreshing to see some variety.
- Arden clearly did her research on weapons and tactical combat. Most dark romance books just throw “gun” or “knife” about with no detail. But here? I actually knew what was used — M110 SASS, Ka-Bar, Glock. (Though personally, I’d have gone with a Beretta M9 or a Smith & Wesson M&P 9 Shield, but that’s just me 🖤).
- The scene where Killian landed feet-first into the SUV windscreen… I was kicking my feet and giggling. This man… fuck 😂.

Why not 5 stars
The length. The last 2–3 chapters felt a bit rushed. A few extra chapters would’ve made it perfect. Other than that, I can’t fault it.

I cannot wait for Damien’s story. 5th of December cannot come soon enough

Kısa bir kitap olmasına rağmen bence çok fazla tetikleyiciye sahip bu türde çok fazla okuma yapmayan ya da bu türdeki bazı şeyleri fazla bulan okuyuculara uygun değil.

Rıza kavramı bence gerçekten belirsizdi bir noktada yani sonrasında kız bunun üzerinde durmadı istiyor gibi göründü ama bilemedim benim için gerçekten bulanık bir noktada.

Ben genelde bu tür okumalar yapmayı gerçekten seviyorum o yüzden kitaptaki karakterleri sevdim keşke yazar biraz daha detay versemiş bazı olayları daha fazla okusamışız.

Emily büyükannesinin ona bıraktığı evde kalan bir anaokulu öğretmeni bir gece uykusu kaçıp su içmek için kalktığında bir takipcinin hedefi olacağını bilmiyor. Bu sırada karakterimiz olan Killian, paralı bir askerdir ve kendisine öldürmesi için para verilen hedefi için çatıda iken hemen yan dairesindeki kadını görünce ona bir anda saplantı derecesinde bağlanır kadının ne yaptığını merak eder kim olduğunu merak eder ve araştırmaya başlar daha sonrasında da tam bir takipçi olur peşinde hatta kıza yaklaşlaşan herkese öldürmeye başlar.

Killian kıza o kadar bağlanıyor ki onun sonsuza dek yanında kalacağını kendi soyismini alacağını ve evleneceği kadın olduğunu düşünüyor.

Kızımız bazı şeylerin farkında hatta takipçisi ona SMS gönderiyor ama buna rağmen bir polis karakoluna gitmek yerine korkuyla karışık merak duygusuyla takipçisini bekliyor.

Temelde kitap takipçi erkek karakter ve hiçbir şeyden habersiz masum kız karakter üzerine ama dediğim gibi keşke bazı şeyler daha detaylı olsaydı olayları daha uzun okutsaydık yani 160 sayfa yerine 300 sayfa bir kitap olsaydı bence çok keyifle okunurdu özellikle Kli’nın arkadaşlarını gerçekten merak ediyorum güzeldi.

On Halloween night, when she plays Red and Kilian’s the wolf, the spice goes off the charts, and I’m still thinking about that scene! 🪭🪭🔥

Giving 3 because this is definitely a quick read to just get it out of your system. I have a few pet peeves with this book; there was just small “time jumps” for no reason. There was barely any moments of him stalking her.
She was just like these past 2 weeks I’ve felt a tingle at the back of my neck. We never saw the moments of close calls or anything. Which is super frustrating.
This book is very smutty to a point near the end it’s a new position every scene (literally shock smutt). This is a “calm” read. Most of her reactions aren’t even read worthy. It’s very very insta-love. There is a little bit of action from his job but this book was just mainly their romance.

i’m going to give a short FREAKY “brief” of this story. DO NOT READ AHEAD SPOILERS!!!! This is basically the whole book in a nutshell.

Her literally inserts a gun *yes HA style* and also CARVES his initial on her ‘mound.’ Im super serious… :0
He chases her through a corn maze and catches her in the middle with a scarecrow. *yk what happens next on said scarecrow*
He then chases her through the wood, he sets up a trap and her ankle gets caught. *they do the dirty while shes upside down* I cant make that up either.
He rented out a cabin before the chase and puts her in the hot tub. she asks for an*l LMAO and he just appeared with lube. She damn near dies from both h*les .
She gets kidnapped and then states she feels out of control. So he tells her to restrain him with zip-ties to feel in control. While shes *yk* shes like “i feel the stress from the kidnapping leaving my body” like GIRL you just got saed….

Anyways this book is for the freaks and thats basically all. The threat got resolved fairly quick. Filler quick read. I am said freak so I didn’t critique it that much! Thank you <3

This was alright.

Obsession at first sight for Killian. This book could have been a little longer with more interactions with the characters. Killian wears a mask for all of his encounters with Emily so she doesn’t really see what he looks like until after 50%.

Killian is super obsessive and possessive. He’s literally touch her die. He killed not one but two guys on her behalf. He watches her from the shadows and stalks her every move.

I do wish this was more character driven. Or even romance driven. We don’t really know anything about Emily. she’s basically just there for his enjoyment so I wouldn’t really say she’s a likable character. There’s nothing that stands out about her. She’s a kindergarten teacher but we never see her at work and she never really talks about it. I thought that was a missed opportunity. We have no idea why he’s never obsessed with her aside from seeing her through a window and liking what he saw.

I do wish they would have had a safety talk before having unprotected sex, even anal sex. Both of them have had multiple partners but they barely know each other and never talked about it before they went bare.

I’ll check out the next one. Im hoping the female characters are more likable than this one.

I really enjoyed the beginning of this book. It is an entertaining story and follows the classic dark romance tropes. If you enjoy fast-paced, steamy dark romances, this book is definitely for you.

A few things did not quite match my personal reading preferences. The story felt a bit fast-paced at times, and I would have loved a slightly longer book. I also wished there were more moments of found-family interactions between the FMC and the MMC’s friends. The conflict was resolved quickly, and a longer story could have allowed for a little more development and action.

The ending felt a little rushed, and I would have liked a few more pages to explore the characters and their experiences. The FMC’s career as a kindergartener and her difficult boss were mentioned, and it would have been nice to see a bit more of that.

Overall, I really enjoyed the book and finished it in three days. The characters were consistent and fun, the story kept a good pace, the writing was good and had a good flow and the "negative" points are just my personal preferences.

I'm excited to see what this talented debut author does next and I hope to see some longer stories in the future, since they clearly know how to keep the reader hooked and entertained.

So this is the worst book I’ve read in a long time, but at least it was short. It was like a train wreck - I just couldn’t look away.

Minus one star for clearly ripping off Haunting Adeline, while not being nearly as captivating.

Minus one star for the use of phrases, including, but not limited to “her tunnel,” “her snatch,” and “her honey.”

Emily isn’t as innocent as she seems and when she realizes she has a stalker, she’s both fascinated and afraid.

Smutty with some action! I enjoyed it.

Okay... I started this because I kept seeing posts about book 4, and when I realised these were basically bite-sized reads, I thought why the hell not indulge in the series?
I mean book one is...

Masked man? ✅
Military background? ✅
Stalking? ✅
Chasing? ✅

Yeah... unfortunately, I am exactly the target audience for this 😮‍💨🤣

Was it the most amazing thing I've ever read? Hmm... debatable.
But I undoubtedly had fun.
I actually enjoyed the little plot more than I expected to, kind of wish we would have gotten more of that. I liked the MCs, enjoyed the side characters, and found myself genuinely invested in what was happening.
Now, there were definitely a few moments that made me cringe. But honestly? That's part of the dark romance experience sometimes 🤣 Not every dirtybtalking MMC can deliver a smooth performance, and a few lines had me staring into the distance for a second.
That said, the story was entertaining, addictive, and easy to fly through. And now I'm invested enough that I need to know what happens next. So yes... I'll be picking up book 2 😌

When obsession and duty collide, you get a stalker you can’t look away from.

It’s a short read (a novella), so it moves quickly, but the pacing is smooth, and the character development is so well done that u ou feel every emotion.
Killian is laser-focused when it comes to his work until she appears. And Emily curious and torn between knowing this is wrong and secretly wanting every second of it.

Killian is a sniper for hire. He finds the woman of his dreams on a job. No she's not the job. He stalks her, cameras in her apartment, a copy of her phone, etc. Slowly he worms his way into her life.

Who is this man in her apartment? in her bed? in her? Oh yeah, her stalker. He proclaims his love and devotion to her. It's intoxicating and scary at the same time. He's intense and brutish. but he's hers and vice versa.

It's a novella, so you don't get much character information, just the minimum. It's a good story.

This book definitely had it all from stalker, masks, primal play, touch her and die. Killian first sees Emily on a roof top while on a job to end her Russian pedo neighbour and he's hooked line and sinker from the first look at her, while he waits to hit his mark on her neighbour he gets a show he wasn't expecting.

If you are a fan of dark, primal romance, with high tension, obsessive heroes, and morally grey characters, you’ll probably find My Masked Stalker exciting and engaging. It seems designed to shock, to push boundaries of what is “okay” in romance, which for many readers is exactly the draw.

However, if you prefer romance where the power dynamics are more clearly negotiated, or where the heroine has more control and there’s less ambiguity in what is consent, this may not be your cup of tea. Also, if you are sensitive to stalking as a theme you might find some scenes difficult.

Arden knocked this out of the park! A great debut novella! A semi slow burn between the MMCs meeting but even before they do there is plenty of spice! Killian knew what he wanted and he made darn sure to get it. The chemistry between all characters is beautiful and there’s an HEA in the end.
