Terrific book on NLP. You will gain a full understanding of what it is, how it works, how to implement it, and how to teach it. Learning NLP is like a 'how to' book on your mind. It will teach you how you have been coding things to make life simpler. Many times, the way we code things can limit our choices, and our outlook on life. By reading this book, you will learn that there are more options available to you. Reading this book and applying its principles can help you take control of your life and life a richer, fuller, and more fulfilling life.

This is an extraordinary book. It provides a first rate introduction into a fascinating field of study. As well as an introduction, it goes into impressive detail concerning NLP. This book will give you a great starting point to the concepts and gives very practical exercises that any can perform. See for yourself a glimpse that will cause you to seek the full picture. You will clearly hear the music of the mind and feel the texture of the subtle coding nooks and crannies you didn't know you could feel.

I still cannot seem to fully agree with the usefulness of these techniques. Overall, the book the covers way too much material with very little detail on each, and is essentially a sales brochure for in-depth courses offered by authors and affiliates.

I don't think NLP is practiced by therapists... I think there are better techniques. CBT?

On top of that, I haven't read about NLP in any self-help or psychology books (and I've read at least 2 dozen).

You don't need this. Want a better life? Eat a salad, go for a run, invest in an ETF, and talk to your family.

Amazing self-teaching book to improve any and all aspects of your life. Based on accepted and recent psychological evidence, the techniques introduced can be immediately applied and benefited from. My only recommendation would be examples and calls to action - though only limited by your creativity.
