Personally, I really like this book. It’s the kind of book you can finish in no time, yet along the way, every page makes you pause and reflect on the experiences that have come and gone in life—whether it’s about everyday matters or love. It reminds me that some things are better left to pass, because holding on to them or replaying them in your mind won’t make anything better. Everything changes every day, and so do people’s minds and feelings.
I first came across this book because of someone I once liked. We had the chance to grow close and spend different stages of life together. That person was quite well-known, but unfortunately, we ended up in a huge fight because of a third person with bad intentions. It’s been more than three years now, and I still wonder why, back then, they chose to believe the words of someone they didn’t even know over me—the one who had always supported him. This book has helped heal my heart in that sense, teaching me to just let it go.
