When I sat down and read the first chapter of the book, I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel. It opens the protagonist Avery comparing kissing her boyfriend to going to the dentist (never a good time). Once I made it a few chapters into the book, I fell in love with the characters and overall really enjoyed the book. For anyone picking up a copy, I promise it’s worth surviving those dental metaphors at the start 😂
