I love the cast of characters so very much, and would read this series till the very last book. However, these books aren't cheap, and this one was the worst at $5 for under 200 pages. That was a hard pill to swallow, but I justified it because I LOVE this family and can't stop reading their story.

But, what made this not so great, and upsetting to me was the lack of care and laziness shown by the author. There were several inconsistencies, and nearly every page had spelling or grammar errors. That is unacceptable for the price she is charging. I can forgive a couple errors, and I'm not one to get annoyed by it. But when nearly every page is a disaster of errors it's frustrating, and quite frankly pissed me off that I spent money on it when the author couldn't even be bothered to edit the damn book. It makes me feel like she slapped it together, and put a high price tag on it knowing her readers love this series would purchase it despite the shoddy quality.

It has become one of those "series" when each "book" is super short and crazy expensive, and then when you look back you realize those several "books" were really only one legitimate book and all the author did was use their readers. Don't get me wrong I love how each book isn't dedicated to strictly one character. It makes it feel real and natural. However when the books keep getting shorter and the price increases and there are cliffhangers galore, that's when I have had enough.

So many editing mistakes, wrong words, and typos it's disgusting. Seriously, how does a book get published with so many errors? And I'm only on chapter 3! Trying to look past it, but it totally ruins the book... very disappointing.

4.5 Stars!

I loved this one! Trinity and Slade started their relationship out untraditionally and turned into something so beautiful. The first half was hilarious because they were still hiding their relationship and everyone started to think Slade was gay. I know there is still trouble ahead for these two but I'm enjoying the ride.

Ugh!! So many errors

I seriously almost quit this book by chapter 2. There are SO MANY errors. They go back and forth saying Yale in one sentence then Stanford in the very next. Not just spelling errors either but completely wrong word errors. "They had a BONG that was inseperable BONG!!! It was ridiculous. The ONLY reason I finished is becAuse I wAnted to know how Trinity & Slade ended up. And this was for a $6 e-book!! Not finishing the rest. Very annoying to have to keep reading a paragraph to see whY it is supposed to say. Such a disappointment! Errors in every other page.

it was ok. a lot of grammar errors, including misused words. i.e saying alive instead of alone. story continued on. it almost seems like she wrote a 5000 page book and split in into smaller novels because the last pages of the first four books are more like the end of a chapter than a book.

It keeps getting better

Even though this is fiction the story plot could be so real life. I love getting to know the characters more with each new book.

I am so glad they came clean. This series could end here.
But #5 has my interest.

The unconventional way in which Slade and Trinity began their relationship was a ticket for disaster…and not necessarily the doomsday kind. The first half of the book was hilarious; while Slade and Trinity tried to hide their relationship, everyone else was working their investigative skills to figure out what was going on. At one point, Slade’s sexuality is questioned because the manwhore is no longer on the prowl.

The communication between Cayson and Skye is still having its ups and downs and that was irritating, but you just know they love each other and have to work things out, even when you want to hit them both upside the head a few times to align their brain cells.

We see more of Roland, and the sweet way of his personality. He is not comfortable with the way Cayson treated Jasmine and he takes it upon himself to make things better for her. This, of course, is not going to go over well with the rest of the gang, especially Cayson.

The sense of friendship and the abundance of humor is still present and sure to make this another enjoyable read in the series.

What happened to the writing??!!

I really enjoy this series, but what happened with the writing in this book?! There were so many grammatical errors that it distracted me from keeping up with the story. Was it written in a rush? Was it ever edited? I know that nobody is perfect and every book can have a mistake, but the amount of errors in this book makes me wonder how they're even taking readers' money for it. Some sentences were even missing words; I felt like I was playing a game of "fill in the blanks". I know I should be writing about the story, but throughout the whole book, these were my thoughts; therefore, that is all I can write a review on. I'm so disappointed that I am hesitant to purchase the next book in the series.

The mistakes drove me crazy.

You need a new proofreader. I’ve been reading other reviews and have learned there’s 51 books in this series. That would be alright if they wasn’t so short. Several could be combined. At $4.99 a book, seems like you have gotten greedy. Don’t know if I will continue the series or not.

Typo

The typo' and grammar error in this book of the series are horrendous. Very disappointed. The story line continued too flow well but I had to reread a lot to understand the mistakes that were missed.

A Good Story Ruined by Carelessness!

This is the fourth book I've read on this series. Obviously, I'm a fan of these books. I love the characters and the situations the author plus them in. BUT...there are problems in finding hard too overlook. I paid $4.99 for this book and expect too read a novel without stupid annoying editing errors. "Bong" instead of "but" and "phase" instead of "faze" and too many other similar errors interfere with the story. Also, how much pizza can the characters eat? I keep paying for these books because I love the intensity and complications of Trinity and Slade. I may or may not buy more of these books depending on what happens at the end of this one. Yes, I stopped in the middle of book 4 because there was another editing mistake.

The story is good....

I have enjoyed reading the stories by E. L. Todd. This is the 4th one I've read and I like that each of the stories continues through each book.

I had a bit of a problem with this one because it obviously was not proof read. While the words were spelled correctly, they were consistently the wrong word, words were left out, or repeated, and just really messed with the flow of the book. I didn't notice that in the first three, but this one was awful. I think the proofreader needs to find another line of work.

I have purchased one more book in this series, but if it has the same problems as this one, I won't be finishing the series.

Saddened

I absolutely loved this series so far, but fervently agree with other reviewers. Normally, for a writer like Todd, I would have roughed my way through them. Unfortunately, there were just too many errors that changed the context of the book unless you were paying attention very carefully. I feel that the books have too many grammatical errors and are being written too quickly. On top of the poor quality, then readers must contend with buying at least 2 books to get through one full story. Although I really love the series, and generally love her books, sadly, I am deciding to discontinue reading this series.

bare with me

This book is for you if you’re looking for easy reading, cheesy love, enemy to lover, friends to lover, slow burn, etc etc. i enjoyed the close friends & family aspect and how they added perspectives as they went.

This book is NOT for you if you’re looking for a book that is realistic or if it bothers you when guys are vulgar/stereotypes are played. I was looking for an easy ready so it satisfied what I was looking for BUT I will say the guys are rude and objectify women a good bit, and some of the relationships get pretty unhealthy. So do with that what you will

Captivant

Vraiment!

Now their secret is out and Slade and Trinity our trying to convince her family that he is changed and does really love her. Trinity's father is acting like the injured party in this situation. He loves Slade like a son but doesn't want him in his daughters life. Makes no sense to me. I'm confused on his and his brothers back grounds but it seems like they did some shady stuff as they were growing up. Why can't he see that someone can change?
Cayson is hiding the fact that he got into med school. He feels his future is with Skye so he is giving up his dream. I see so much trouble ahead because of this decision.

Fighting to be together

I love this story. Cayson gets over being mad with Roland and makes up with Skye. Slade and Trinity keep their relationship a secret from everyone until Trinity was in a serious accident. She wakes up and calls Slade's name. Everyone is In shock. In front of everyone he tells her he loves her. Her father is pissed. Slade does everything in his power to make up with her father, brother. He has a lot to prove to them. He has changed for the better and Trinity has a lot to do with. Good book on to book 5

I'm in love with this story line.

Up until this book I was head over heals in love with this book series. Even the story line in this book I enjoyed greatly. The characters remind me of my family. My biggest deterrent is that it seems as though no one edited this book. There are so many spelling and grammatical errors that it made it difficult to read at times. I found myself reading between the lines to get it to make sense. I will buy the next in hopes it is better, if not I may be looking for a new book series.

The story was sweet but the grammar was atrocious. I was very disappointed that the time wasn't taken to correct grammatical errors. The first three books in this series were free and much better written. I had to purchase this one so am definitely disappointed with the quality.

Wonderful story.....horribly typed!

I more than loved the story .... it was fantastic!! But this book was either completely unedited or the person that typed it was uneducated!! Misspelled, wrong grammar, missing words...throughout the entire book. I was very disappointed with it.

The previous books in this series flowed so well, I barely had to think to read them. This book on the other hand, took me forever to read because I was constantly trying to figure out what it SHOULD say.

Loved the story but the editing was terrible

I have enjoyed every book in this series and this ones story line did not disappoint. However the editing was embarrassing. A mistake on almost every page. Done laughable, bong instead of bond and some you had to do know what was going on because the mistakes changed entire meanings of sentences. Not sure what the heck happened but I hope the next book is better. The first three were free and mistake free. The one I paid for was a mess. Great series though and I will give the next book a shot because I love the characters.

Eddi in Floridai

I could hardly believe this book four in the Forever and Ever series was written by the same author!
While it continued with the same strong characters and story line, the writing itself was riddled with careless thing errors as well as grammatical errors in abundance. Obviously it had very poor proof reading and her editors failed her too. It was not worth the $4.99 cost. Not really worth reading this volume.

The first 3 were fun and fairly well written ... I continued reading this one and now book 5 because I was drawn into the stories. But there are soooooo many typos and mistakes in people that I am wondering if she even re read these stories after she wrote them... do you have a proofreader? Its ridiculous... talking about Roland when she means Conrad... writing buzzard when she means buzzer ... it makes it hard to read!

Great series

This is a great series. I bought the first 3 books in a box set and loved them, so I keep buying them. The only flaw in this book I’d the grammar errors. I wished I was part of the arch group and that edited the material.
Overview. The story continues so please read in order. This is book four. Most of the story is still about the group with the focus on Cayson, Skye, Trinity and Slade.

Sad family

These family men are weird and not very loving at times. No way would I want a father like them. I gather from all these books that they go to great lengths to be together and then are torn apart by stupid stuff. I don't care for Jasmine at all. I hope Logan drops that. Not knowing the ages of this group I guess they are mostly 21 yrs. It accounts for all the stupid ideas and remarks they make.

Trinity & Slade

A lot of tension in this book as the truth about Slade and Trinity is found out by all. Got to hand it to Slade, he stood his ground and is fighting for Trinity. I was only disappointed in this story from the numerous spelling errors, spell check auto changes and left out or misplaced words.
