Help arrived in the nick of time, in the shape of handsome sheriff Brady Cannon. And though Dottie made it clear she was just passing through, the local matchmakers had another agenda. I have never read a Christain romance before and I really enjoyed this one. It was an easy read, I read it in one afternoon. I loved that there was no bad language, sex or violence. It was simply a cute love story.

I was pleasantly surprised with a lightness put in my heart reading this novel. I enjoyed how Ms. Clopton wove God's love and sovereignty into her story. The characters were fun and funny! A nice story to uplift and remind us of God working in our lives and orchestrating the plans! Dottie was striving to learn obedience to the God who saved her life. Brady had been frightened by sadness of his past and was not trusting God with the future. Both continued to learn important lessons as God brought their lives together.

This next edition features Sheriff Brady Cannon and newcomer, Dottie Hart.

I'm leaning toward placing this one at the top of the list so far - not for its humor, but for its depth of the message it gives. Surrounding an obvious romance is a larger story that gives a very clear Christian message of faith and trust in God. It also focuses on family and commitment to that family.

Yes, the reader still gets to enjoy all the antics of the townsfolk and their matchmaking attempts, but the real story lies in what the author presents to those who seek a solid Christian story.

Romance - PG - a couple of kisses with minimal description
Language - clean

I sure am enjoying Mule Hollow more with each book I read. This is the third in the series.
Dottie was traveling across the country from Florida to CA with everything she has left after Hurracane. She saw a girl Cassie hitchhiking and picked her up and than took her 100 miles out of her way to make sure she got where she was going safely. Cassie at 19 was going to Mule hollow to marry a cowboy.
Sheriff Brady was impressed with Dottie and winked at her in front of the matchmakers.
It was fun to see how the town just comes together to help each other. Makes me want to help more.
Good stories uplifting while dealing with real issues. Look forward to next one.

Fortune Hart has just gone thru a LIFE altering experience. Glad to be alive, she is Mike dedicated to helping others. In her way to help the women's shelter that her brother's church runs, Dottie picks up a line girl. Not wanting anything bad to happen to the teen, Dottie offers to take her to Mule Hollow. Not knowing what to expect or to believe all that Cassie, the teen, tells her about this town, Dottie finds herself stranded there for a few days waiting on the mechanic to return. Life will never be the same thanks to the posse of Mule Hollow.

Sheriff Brady Cannon has lost his partner at work then lossy his parents to a car crash. Now he is the town sheriff to heal his wounded spirit. When a slip of a woman enters his life and makes him think about all the WHAT IF'S. For Sheriff Brady, it is a matter he finds very difficult to reconcile with his beliefs and his faith in God.

As these two deal with what they believe God wants, what they each want, and the possibilities that can be. Seeing all the good and believing is the hardest thing to do. Getting the HEA is just the icing on the cake.

You will laugh, cry, and scream at the stubbornness of all that happens in this next adventure into Mule Hollow. ENJOY readers, enjoy.

I guess I have been reading the stories about Mule Hollow out of order but that doesn’t really make a big difference to the stories. So, this one is mostly about Dottie and Brady with Cassie playing a big part of the story.

This story is really about what it takes to be a survivor because the word “survivor” means “courage”. Each of the main characters have a lot of courage, they are all over coming something terrible that had a major affect on their lives. They are all struggling to find a new beginning.

I love that Dottie is one of those women who puts aside her own desires and wants to take care of others. She is strong and has a huge heart. Brady is one of those lawmen who cares about everyone, he is honest and works hard for the betterment of the community. Cassie is that teenager who is a mystery to Dottie and Brady but she is the glue that holds Dottie together.

Loved this story because it shows that it takes courage to continue to live and not cut one’s self off from community and love.

You will love the little town of Mule Hollow and its matchmaking citizens!

This inspirational tale revolves around Dottie Hart who was on her way to California but picked up a hitchhiker who wanted to go to Mule Hollow, Texas and since Dottie wanted to do God's will each day, she took a chance and made that detour. She meets Sheriff Brady Cannon and finally accepts that he is also part of God's plan for her and she has to convince Brady to take a chance on love.

This is the third in the series and it's not important to have read the earlier stories because the backstories are referred to and woven into the main story.

I received a complimentary ARC, but all opinions are my own.

Debra Clopton takes us back to the Texas Matchmakers in This Hearts Yours Cowboy and is full of love and romance.
Going to California was Dottie’s plan, but when she picks up hitchhiker Cassie and they end up in Mule Hollow, Texas instead life becomes a whirlwind of challenges and changes for them both.
Sheriff Brady was planning for a busy weekend with vendors for the first annual Mule Hollow Trade Days but never expected two woman could cause more trouble than all the vendors combines and turn his world and the town upside down, in a good way. Especially when the matchmakes butt in…
Debra made me feel like I was there and part of the fun. I enjoyed reading this book a lot.

This Heart’s Yours, Cowboy

This is such a wonderful and fun faith based book. The matchmakers of Mule Hollow have struck again. Dottie picks up a young girl on the interstate heading for Mule Hollow to seek a husband. Dottie feels strongly that she should make sure the girl arrives safely. As they arrive, Dottie’s van breaks down and so does Dottie. She ends up in the arms of Sheriff Brady Cannon. Neither of them are looking to marry. She is headed to California to do mission work with her brother. He has vowed to never marry. I recommend you read their story to see how that turns out.

Even though this is only the third book in the series, I am so hooked on getting to know more of the residents of Mule Hollow and feel like if I actually went there I would recognize the residents we've been introduced to so far. Thank goodness that Cassie was hitchhiking her way to Mule Hollow and that Dottie decided to take a chance and stop to pick her up. And that the Sheriff was in the right place when Dottie and Cassie pulled in to town and the RV started on fire. The sparks in the RV's engine weren't the only ones that day. This was another great romance and I highly recommend it. In exchange for an honest review, I was gifted a copy of the story.

Would taking a trip not intended, and out of the way by one day, for someone that was picked up on the side of the road be worth it? Dottie Hart made a promise and has to get to California. But when the candy maker gets stranded in Mule Hollow, Texas, handsome sheriff Brady Cannon-her polar opposite- has her dreaming of staying forever. With help of town matchmakers, she may find a way to call Mule Hollow home for good. This is a summary of the book No Place Like Home. This book is interesting because the author used a fun setting and good characterization in this book.

This book does a good job of displaying the characteristics of each people. Dottie Hart is a person who has a very caring personality and she loves helping people. “Glancing at the long figure standing in the reflection of her side mirror, Dottie Hard stomped hard on the brake and wrangled her prehistoric motor home to a groaning halt. In less than a shake and a wiggle Dottie was out the door watching The girl jog toward her along the shoulder of the hectic highway. The world was full of crazed people just waiting for the opportunity to snatch up a girl like that...And here she was hitchhiking! Well, it wasn't happening today, because Dottie’s new prayer each morning was for the Lord to use her anyway He chose. Looks like today He’d put this girl and her pathway. “Hey, thanks for stopping,” the girl said, dropping her bag with a thud at Dottie’s feet.” This evidence from the book shows that Scarlett is a caring person who likes to help people get better and healed from what has happened in their past. This is one of the many examples of good characterization in this book. This book shows how each character acts and their likes and dislikes.

This book has a good, exciting, and clear written setting. There are many examples of the setting in this book. One of the settings is in a small town named Mule Hollow at Brady’s house when they are cleaning it up. “Dottie glanced her way and fought not to laugh. Esther was crouched on all fours peering under the bed. Well, she wasn't exactly peering; she’d crammed herself beneath the bed as far as she could get, leaving her lower half sticking up in the air, as she struggled to read something. As Dottie watched, she plopped flat down on the carpet on her belly and scooted as far as she could under the bed, attempting to reach her target.” This evidence proves that the setting in this example, is a place where everything is more abandoned and not as used. This shows one of the settings in this book and helps you understand where this story takes place.

The author uses a good setting and unique characterization. That’s why this book is interesting, suspenseful, and keeps you wanting to read more. Reading this book shows how important it is for the character’s personality to be unique. This keeps the story interesting and not dull. This is a fun book and should be read by all people that like to read romance books.

Excellent Read

This is the second time I read this book and it was even better than the first. Debra Clopton is an awesome writer. Each character in this book had a unique personality and each one fit into the town. The sweet candy maker Dottie stole the heart of the sheriff of Mule Hollow who was afraid to love. Awesome, exciting, funny, sad & dramatic.

This Hearts Yours Cowboy

This is the story of a young woman who lived after a hurricane demolished her home and she was trapped for three days before they dug her out. She then strikes out for California to visit her brother when her ancient motor home leaves her on the side of the road. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill

I have read most of the books in this series but not in order. This one might be my favorite. Dottie and Brady are perfect for each other, if Brady will get with the program! If he doesn’t get a move on Norma and Esther might apply a judicious boot to his behind while Adela prays fervently. Highly entertaining clean romance with a strong faith message.

God has a change of plans

A series of coincidences brings Dottie to town and keeps her there. The sheriff is taken with her but doesn't want to marry, ever. God apparently disagrees.

Sheriff

What a heartwarming story. The backgrounds of the sheriff and the stranger in town are so enter twined. How a small town can play such big matchmakers even with a tragic background in the Sheriffs past. Thoroughly loved it.

Following God’s path

Dottie is a great example of following where God leads her! And like many of us, it took a drastic event in her life to get her attention on God. I love how He orchestrates things for the good of so many!
