When Ronan drags me onto his lap in the front seat of his truck, the windows fog and every bad decision suddenly feels like destiny.
I came to Humboldt County for peace, not to run smack into the one man I swore I’d never touch again. But ten years later, my brother’s broody best friend is all muscle, all hands, all sin. He feeds me forest facts, calls me “trouble,” and then proves just how wild a forest ranger can get when the cabin door shuts. But small-town roots scare the hell out of me, and Ronan’s whole life is tangled up right here in the redwoods.
Now I’m tangled in his sheets, his arms, his world… but will I be brave enough to stay, or just another storm passing through?
-A heartwarming small-town romance of second chances and healing. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.
Ronan and Delaney’s reunion blends tenderness, honesty, and slow-burn chemistry. Echo James writes with warmth, avoiding drama while deepening emotional roots.
A cozy, well-written story where love feels steady, real, and beautifully earned. I love the epilogue which is a celebration with friends, family and love.

I really enjoyed this book. I love how Delaney brings Ronan out of his shell and the woods. These two were definitely perfect for each other. I love the entire family dynamic with everyone and how fast Delaney gets pulled into it and with the other women of the family.
