The Bane of a Sinner: Soulless Sinners MC

Rate this book
The most baneful burden is the sorrow of anguish, and I carry that in spades.”

I thought I had everything I wanted until she walked into my life. And for a short time, she was my world, my future, my everything. I should have known that being a member of the Soulless Sinners MC would only bring pain and sorrow. On the day she disappeared from my life, I vowed to make them pay.

Now, I live each day as a lie, pretending to be something I’m not. It’s a heavy price I must pay to get her back. Despite the pain I suffer, I stay the course, driven by a hatred that refuses to be extinguished as I search for fragments of her in the shadows, anything to sustain me for what’s to come.

For twenty years, I’ve played my part perfectly. I’ve become the very thing they all believe me to be. Yet, even as her memory haunts my every step, I refuse to let them win. I cling to the fragile hope that somewhere in the darkness she waits for me as I work to put the pieces together, when I learn a secret I prayed wasn’t true.

Now, I’m caught between loyalty and vengeance, and forced to navigate a world where trust becomes a luxury I cannot afford. Each new secret uncovered threatens to unravel the delicate balance that keeps the Biker Federation at bay; yet I refuse to abandon her—not when I’m so close to the truth.

Welcome to the Soulless Sinners MC, where nothing is what it seems. Dark, sinister doings surround the elusive club, and only a true Sinner will survive. Set against the backdrop of the Big Apple, the Soulless Sinners MC is a cut above the rest. With high-society balls and expensive dinner suits, to motorcycles, black leather, and blood, delve into the dark underworld of the Soulless Sinners and try not to lose your soul.

The Bane of a Sinner is Book 6 in the Soulless Sinners MC series by Rebecca Joyce. This series is a spinoff from the Golden Skulls MC, where the Soulless Sinner MC made their debut appearance in VICIOUS-book 9 of the Golden Skulls MC series.

Love always wins it's that simple I cannot tell you how beautifully done this is as a love story

If you're wanting a plot twist that is one after another I would say read this because you're constantly blown away by the amount of twist and turns.

I would say this is a second chance romance as well as a secret identity Romance I think that also this could be as a Revenge romance as well because you're MMC will stop at nothing to get his woman.

I will say that I now having Bane's story I do see him differently and I can say he deserves a Best actor's award because the man can act his butt off.

I did have one character in this book that I really fell in love with and it is a main side character but when I tell you that you're not going to see it coming you're not going to see it coming.

I understand Montana a little bit more in this book he does play a really big role in this book and even though I think he needs a timeout every now and then I really do see him differently because of this book.

As far as our FMC she is a fighter she is determined to live her life and she is determined to beat against All odds and have that whirlwind romance that she craves.

I was shocked at the villain in this book and I think everyone else will be too I do see Sinclair in a different way like I said with Montana I do see Sinclair in a different way now because of his role in this book as well.

There are a lot of people that have their hands in the candy bowl in this book and I feel like it's one intricate layer after another that helps you finally realize why this couple is so important.

I can say that the spice is relatively a strong for and it's a very passionate very delicate but sensual in a way where it's seems that make you just fall in love with their love story even more.

Also there were tons of hints in this book for other characters and there were parts where you get to see glimpses of what's to come so really look in between the lines because there are those little hidden eggs in there.

I'm excited for what's to come next but I also just know that this book has a piece of my heart because it is such a romance story that is against All odds winning.

Rebecca Joyce proves once again why she reigns supreme in the MC romance world with Bane of a Sinner, the sixth installment in the Soulless Sinners MC and a powerful addition to the larger Golden Skulls universe.

This book tears down everything readers thought they knew about Bane. Joyce peels back the layers of his life with raw honesty—his heartache, his sacrifices, and the buried truths that have defined his journey. The revelations about his past don’t just add depth; they completely rewrite his story in the most shocking, heart-wrenching ways.

Enter Diana, the daughter of another chapter’s President. Her connection to Bane is both beautiful and tragic, shattered by the chaos George Stone left in his wake. Forced apart for twenty years to keep her—and their children—safe, Diana’s heartbreak is palpable. The gut punch comes when we learn her children were stolen, living unknowingly under Bane’s watch for a time, deepening the anguish and stakes.

Joyce doesn’t stop at romance and heartbreak. She masterfully weaves in treachery and manipulation, pulling back the curtain on Valhalla—once admired for her good deeds, now exposed as a master manipulator orchestrating much of Bane’s suffering, alongside Montana’s estranged brother Dakota. Every twist lands with impact, ensuring that the reader is constantly questioning who can be trusted.

And the story isn’t over. Bane and Diana’s journey will continue in Ann Silver’s Mimic, part of her Silver Shadows MC. Joyce and Silver craft their interconnected series so seamlessly, one could swear it’s a single voice writing under two different pen names. The result is a shared universe that feels expansive, authentic, and endlessly addictive.

Bane of a Sinner is more than just another MC romance—it’s an emotional rollercoaster filled with secrets, lies, betrayal, and redemption. This book not only cements Bane’s place in the Soulless Sinners MC lore but also sets the stage for even bigger shocks to come in the Golden Skulls world. Buckle up—this ride is only just beginning.

4.5⭐️ Whew, I feel like every book that I read by either Rebecca or Ann I should be taking notes. There are so many little Easter eggs that have been stragitically placed throughout these books. I think I spent more time going back and searching other books than reading this one.

Sure, a lot is making sense but also a lot isn’t. Too many twists and turns to keep track of. Just when you think you’ve figured it out…bam, you’re wrong. Seriously, this is giving me palpitations but it’s not gonna stop me from reading.

I could have done with a little less of the past and maybe focus more on what is happening now. I get that an explanation is necessary for context but I was zoning out on some of the chapters. For the most part it was an enjoyable read.

Now, what’s next in this saga, who knows? At least you know to expect the unexpected.

Amazing 5plus stars

Another great book by rebecca and in true rebecca style the twist turns and serects are explosive and when the book finishes you wish the next one was there to jump straight into. August and Diana story is heartbreaking and makes the hatred for george stone wish his death was worst also the previous conception of the angry drunk functioning doctor do a 180 and Diana heartbreak so much worst but also a the betrayal of one person hard to wrap your head around. So if you are a rebecca joyce fan buckle up for the wild emotional rollcoster if you have not read her books or ann silvers book look at rebecca reading order and start from the beginning as to understand this book you need to know the full history and trust me you will not be disappointed 😉

Bane's pain and longing are palpable. His attempt to live a lie, to hide his grief, while chasing fragments of her memory is haunting. The tension between vengeance and loyalty, between holding on and letting go, runs deep throughout the story.
As secrets unravel and the balance between clubs teeters, the narrative keeps you guessing. Even when the plot slows, there is always the promise that something major is about to be revealed.
Because this is Book 6, many emotional and plot beats rest on prior knowledge of the series and past relationships. New readers might feel lost in club dynamics or character histories that aren’t fully recapped
It’s definitely best enjoyed if you’ve read earlier books in the series, but for those who love tortured heroes and gritty club politics, this one delivers

I don’t know what I’m supposed to say anymore haha 🤣 if you think that Rebecca Joyce is going to ever write dull or boring book you’d be wrong. She never disappoints. She writes to wow you, surprise you, piss you off at times haha, leave you on the seat of your pants , and in suspense ! But every book answers more questions and gives more information. But also leaves more bread crumbs for what’s to come and more confusion to follow. I loved this book so much! I have some new found respect for Bane. I don’t dislike him as much as I once did.

OMFG

Since becoming a Rebecca Joyce fan and reading this series, it's been like solving a mystery. Each book gives you clues.
Bane and Diana, story answered some questions and gave more answers to unanswered questions. Their story expands over 20 years. I am trying not give away anything about their story but it hard. All I can say is read the series starting with Golden Skulls.

Well there was a lot to unpack with Bane’s book, my mind was blown 🤯🤯🤯 by the deception, the secrets, the undermining and treacherous behaviour throughout this book. I absolutely loved the sweet, beautiful love story Bane shared ❤️❤️❤️ but the unforeseen circumstances ahead of them would shatter their world. Some of the characters we’ve come to know shock and surprise with the actions they take. Rebecca always gives a well thought out, sometimes devious plot to her stories, her descriptive narratives help us meld into the story becoming a crucial part of the emotional journey we are taken on. Kudos to you a Rebecca, another brilliant piece of literary brilliance that, even when finished, is sending us off on another journey of discovery. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤

All I can say is Rebecca Joyce is twisty if you love complicated worlds and grey characters that do anything for love with great story lines. The world of the Golden Skulls MC and all the connections (including the new stories through author Anne Silver) is what you are looking for. Can't wait for what comes next. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I’ve never been a fan of Doc August Lansing aka Bane, he’s a not a pleasant friendly chap but how wrong was I?
The curse of George Stone was a big sledgehammer to young August’s life and that of his sister Amy. My heart hurt more for him with each chapter, every chink of light for him and the woman he loves is shut out by the blackout curtains of Stone or one of his puppets.
There are some doozy of secrets revealed and people not being who you think they are. I recommend booking a day off work, get under the safety of your duvet with a cuppa because once you start you won’t be able to put it down

Yet, even as her memory haunts my every step, I refuse to let them win, loyalty and vengeance, Ghosts, secrets, betrayals, suspense, delve into the past, and learn just how evil George Stone really was, We meet Bane's woman, and follow along as they fine each other again, Holy Cow Bane Diana Valhalla, Rape, Both drug, set up, manipulated into a situation that now threatened to destroy his life, set up, SPICY, He will play the long game but he will win, powerful people, Twins again??, more Twist and turns, some questions will be answered and more Questions we need the answers too, he would never forgive Meredith, He went to save his daughter, he went to the Lion Den to save her, need to protect myself from the consequences of his actions, War started, pay for the sins of the father, Patch over, OMG!! Gimme Gimme Gimme. I always sit on the edge of my seat when Rebecca Joyce releases a new book. I knew Bane's book was going to reveal secrets and lies... but oh my...

I will say the book started out a bit slow for me (maybe it was what I had going on at the time), but I hung in there (yea like I wouldnt reada Rebecca Joyce book all the way... who am I kidding) because I knew something special was coming and I was right.

Without giving it away Bane was never really one of my favorite characters but he redeamed himself in this book and the secrets and lies that unfolded tell a story we had no idea about. Just when the plot seems to come to it head, nope... the plot just thickens (a speciality of Rebeccas and one of the many reasons she is one of my all time favorite authors.

If you are new to the Golden Skulls/Soulless Sinners/etc Rebecca Joyce world, please start at the beginning (you'll thank me later). If you working your way through the RJ world hang on to your seats the ride never slows down.

The book has triggers so please read them first. I recommend this book as i do all her books. Love them all and all the crazy characters.

I have always liked Bane, despite his surliness at times. There were moments when I even wondered why he and Montana were friends. This book consumed me; I gave up sleep just to keep reading because I had to know everything. I got the answers I was looking for, but they also raised more questions, which kept me turning the pages. I know that Rebecca is going to rip my heart out, and she definitely delivered. This book was not what I expected, but I loved it. Rebecca crafted a story that only she could tell. I cannot recommend this book enough; Rebecca is one of my top authors for a reason. Thank you for Bane's story.

Well, Rebecca Joyce did it again! Ghosts, secrets, betrayals...oh my! In this book, we delve into the past, and learn just how evil George Stone really was. We meet Bane's woman, and follow along as she and Bane get together, only to be cruelly torn apart. We learn about more traitors hiding in plain sight. At it's heart, this book is an amazing love story that spans 20 years. Of two people torn apart, but never stop searching for each other. Of almost losing hope, but finding the strength to hang on, keep looking, keep hoping. And in the end are reunited. But at what cost to themselves, and those around them? As always, many questions are answered, and many more are raised. A dark, twisty ride that left me breathless and eagerly awaiting the next book.

How does a person who has been dead for over 20 years still control so much. Bane and Diana had a past, but George stone has his finger on the pulse of things with them. Twenty years later, Diana is still trying to find her kids that George stole. There were a few answers, but now a lot of new questions. You just want to take your time with this one, but also read so fast to figure things out.

Didn't want the book to be over

The world in which this Author created is so complex. How she even manages to keep it all straight fascinates me. We finally learn more about Bane I just hope the get to them before the other two do.

Can't believe what we learn about Meredith and here I thought she was a good person, damn is she twisted in the head.

I love this author and everything she writes but the first half of this book was just to descriptive I felt the story was buried between to many words and it lost my interest many times.
The second half was much better the story flowed more easily and I got to enjoy the book and the secrets that were being uncovered.

I really don't know how this author comes up with these storylines. This book is definitely not for the faint of heart. I made a mistake of starting it close to bed time. I took a few breaks but I couldn't go to sleep until I finished it. I just had to see what came next. I can't wait to see what comes nex. These books definitely need to be read in order between many different series and lately another authors books. If you can handle very dark this is a must read.
