A destination wedding is the idyllic escape. Except when there's a murderer on the loose.
Ariana and Damon are thrilled for a getaway weekend to celebrate their friends' new life together. Everything is smooth sailing until strange things start happening . . . Unexplained noises. People feeling watchful eyes when alone. Mysterious threats.
Then a member of the wedding party goes missing.
Everybody must work together to find their friend. But who can they trust? Any of them could be behind the disappearance . . . or it could be someone who came without an invitation. Either way, they're dealing with a desperate person who will stop at nothing to end the marriage before it even begins.
Ariana is determined to find answers before anyone else vanishes . . .
Stacy Claflin writes about complex women overcoming incredible odds. Whether it's her Gone trilogy of psychological thrillers, her ongoing Transformed paranormal saga, or her Seaside Hunters sweet romance series, Stacy's three-dimensional heroines shine through.
Decades after she wrote her first stories on construction paper and years after typing on an inherited green screen computer that weighed half a ton, Stacy realized her dream of becoming a full-time author.
When she's not busy writing or educating her kids from home, Stacy enjoys watching TV shows like Supernatural, Pretty Little Liars, and Once Upon a Time.
ARC copy of book read. Good summertime read. Very fast paced. Ariana & Damon are right in the thick of things. Who could imagine so many things happening over a weekend celebrating the bride & groom. Each chapter makes you want to read another until all of sudden the book is finished. Looking forward to the next one. Stacy's books aren't the classics but they are great to read when you want to get away from the cares of the world.
This newest thriller in Stacy Claflin’s Ariana Jones series will keep you on your toes. The wedding plans of a dear friend are placed in jeopardy when strange notes are found, guests mysteriously disappear, and a family member is found dead.
Can the guests pull themselves together to help find the killer so that the wedding can take place? There are multiple suspects, but which one is responsible for upsetting the wedding plans?
While I have to admit that my first suspicion turned out to be correct, there were moments I found myself second-guessing the villain’s identity. Stacy Claflin does a masterful job of creating the feeling of terror felt by the couple’s family and the wedding party. She is able to give the reader time to take a deep breath between the more harrowing moments.
If you like good thrillers, then this book is a great choice. It is the fourth book in a series, but it is the first one I’ve read and I was easily able to follow the characters and activity. The characters are fleshed out enough that I could easily identify with them. That said, I now want to go back and read the earlier books.
I received my copy of Never Letting Go directly from the author with no promise made of a positive review. I enjoyed it enough that I found myself quickly turning the pages and finishing the book in a single day.
This new addition to this incredible series had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. From the get go, I knew something was going to happen but just didn’t know who or when and the build up to the suspense was absolutely killing me and then BAM all hell breaks loose. We have a murder, a missing grandmother, missing child, missing brother, the lights go out , there’s screaming and mysterious notes and twists and turns that literally had my head spinning. It’s an incredible read and it was wonderful to catch up with our characters from previous books and I love how Ariana and Damian work so well together to solve the mystery as the storm rages on, not just outside but inside as well. Chaos and mayhem ensue and just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, oh no you haven’t! It’s an incredible thriller and I cannot recommend this series enough!
👰Wow! Dream wedding hijacked by hysteria and danger😩
4.5🌟 stars Never Letting Go was a quick, fast-paced thriller that kept the ominous atmosphere and snafus rolling so I just had to finish it in one day. I thought I knew who was sabotaging the wedding but, in fact, the author fooled me! With so much mayhem on the eve of Rita and Grayson's wedding at a posh, remote country venue, matron of honor Ariana Jones and her husband Damon get properly embroiled in efforts to help the bride and groom keep the wedding on track. I loved the crazy action and chaos, heightened by a violent storm.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.
The characters are amazing and pull you into the story and don't let go - you always want more. Yes, even the "villains". I must admit I had a couple of suspects in mind, 1 that was an actual suspect that I didn't even think of and of course the real killer was among my list. Having a little bit of everything - romance, the unknown, mystery, friends, family, new scenery, the overall unknown makes this a must 1 more page over and over and wanting more until that mystery/murder is solved. SO looking forward to Bella's story, counting down the days til the release in October 2023!
Grayson and Rita are getting married and Grayson has hired an exclusive country venue for the entire weekend. Ariana, as the maid of honour, has put a lot of work into organising some of the events leading up to and including the wedding itself. Rita feels that she is being watched and then starts getting creepy messages. Then one of the wedding party goes missing. This was not the wedding that Rita had planned. Ariana and Damon take it upon themselves to find out what is going on, before something really bad happens.
A wedding to remember! A wedding that takes place in an exquisite retreat that is so big a person can get lost...and some of the attendees do. Then someone is found murdered, so obviously, one of the attendees is the murderer. This story will take you on a wild ride of twists and turns and thrills whilst trying to figure out just who that murderer could be. Is there a family member that cannot be trusted, or is it a close or distant friend? I did not see this ending coming, and I found it very hard to put the book down for the night. Kudos Stacy Claflin. Also a good lead into the next book.
This is the fourth installment in the Ariana Jones series, and I think it is my favorite one so far. In the previous books, I figured out the ending about halfway through, and it's always a bit disappointing when that happens. That didn't happen with this book. It was a surprise to me. Also, the previous books seemed to end abruptly, like they were chopped off. This one ended with a cliffhanger that has me wanting more. I only recently discovered Stacy Claflin's books, and each one I read gets better and better and leaves me wanting more!
A dream wedding turns into a horror movie. Rita and Grayson invited their wedding guests into a hotel in the woods where they could get to know each other during activities and spa treatments. During the dance where everyone was wearing masks a storm wipes out electricity and a luxurious wedding weekend turns into a horror movie with a killer on the loose.
Loved this story and I'm thankful I'm allowed to review for you. Thanks heaps.
I love this thriller series and this book is a great addition. The characters are a bit over the top interns of dialogue and actions but that’s part of the fun when reading. The storyline was well written with lots of twists, turns, and misdirection. The mystery was well plotted. If you would enjoy a more light hearted suspense/thriller book I would highly recommend this book and series.
I received an arc of this book and voluntarily provided a review.
Loved this one, I expected what was coming but I never expected THAT ending.. Ariana's friend Rita is even more of a magnet for trouble and psychos than Ariana... First with her disappearance in book 1 and now with her wedding! As soon as I knew this book was about her wedding, I immediately thought "oh, this is gonna be good" and I can definitely say I was not disappointed! Cannot wait for the next book!!!
This particular Ariana Jones story didn't resonate with me the way previous ones have. I think it's because there was just too much happening all the time. I loved the short chapters written by the mysterious person bent on sabotaging the wedding.
That said, I'm looking forward to the next book in this series. I love Stacy's style, and her thrillers keep me glued to the pages.
Another thrilling storyline by Stacy Claflin! Arianna and Damon just can't escape danger and turmoil no matter where they go. They have gone to a beautiful resort for the wedding of Arianna's best friend, and things don't go exactly as planned! Stacy has you sitting on the edge of your seat until the very end!
A wedding goes terribly wrong in this story of obsession. A fantastic venue everyone is enjoying until suddenly the weather changes and one of the wedding party and guests start disappearing. Will the wedding go on?
Another great thriller mystery this time at a weekend wedding. I admit that I guessed the villain straight up but that didn't take away from the story at all. As always, plenty going on with missing people, death and threats.
Absolutely loved it. Ariana and Damon are such a great couple and work so well together to help their friend Rita and her fiance find a killer at their pre wedding celebration. What starts as a fun party turns deadly and Ari and Damon are on the case. It will be surprising who the murderer is.
What an incredible story. Another great, well written, with plenty of action to keep you intrigued. Ariana and Damon are having a great time enjoying their friends weekend for their wedding. Unfortunately there’s a murderer on the loose. Will they solve it on time. Can’t wait for more.
This one pulled me in immediately and didn't let go until the very end. Who is trying to sabotage the wedding? Where is everyone disappearing to? Loved following the clues to figure out the mysteries. The storm added to the setting of this book. It made me think of movies were the lights go out and it is dark and scary. Definitely a edge of your seat read.
I still can’t believe what a great character Ariana is and Damon too! Rita is another great character! I really enjoy this series and seeing how each character is developed so well I feel like I know them.
An old mansion converted into a hotel was a great backdrop for this book. It made a great setting.
I would highly recommend this book and the entire series
