Ok, let’s review the Preacher’s Prize. For all who have read thus far, you will be aware of the storyline regarding The Preachers & Ophelia. For new welcome readers, you need to start the series from the beginning.
Daisy: is she friend or foe? Will she come between the Preachers and their “Pet” - Ophelia? Is there more to her sudden appearance @ V.F.U? What does the Prophet really want with Ophelia? Who sold her out?????? There is a question on leaving the safety of V.F.U.
* Sexual deprivation leading into unspeakable acts. 🔥🔥🔥 * Ascension * Vipers * Devils * The Jackal Raiders MC * “Full circle -now my everything”
Oh wait a minute. Yes the V.F.U. May have come to an end but…. We were left on a cliffhanger. Does this mean we will still be in the know regarding the Vipers/Devils/Preachers? What with Vani’s Dad & his The Jackal Raiders MC being nearby?
Onto the last instalment-The Preacher’s Prize, what an emotional whirlwind. Marissa did not leave us disappointed. This brought forth a closure for the Preachers & Ophelia. All the - Darkness Sinister acts Highly sexual - MMM/F : Erotic 18+ Vindictiveness The core of Ophelia’s abduction The horrible noose hanging over Cain & Roman The instigator of this evil plan that was placed in motion years ago, and most importantly the WHY?
There is a hierarchy in the worlds of Mafia/Bratva Irish etc. it’s an ocean of Sharks, Predators and vengeance. The strongest will always win in the end.
I will reiterate, in order to understand and fully appreciate V.F.U. Do start at the beginning. I may have given a few tidbits to ponder as I personally don’t t like to spoil contents. Every reader has their own opinions of a read and does not need the plot spoilt.
On a further note. Original review on Booksprout. Reference of Cult and rituals are present. This may also cause trigger issues. Please be aware
I have been waiting for this one! The Preachers' Prize is book 3 and the final book in the Verona Falls University series by Marissa Farrar and S.R. Jones and they ended it perfectly. First we had the Devils, then the Vipers, but the Preachers have always been my favorite! If you love a DARK, twisted why choose with so much heat and intrigue, read this series!
This book picks right up where book two left us. Ophelia’s friend daisy escape from the commune to warn her that they “Prophet” is planning a mass su*cide and she needs her help. AND he wants Opheilia back. We have her three gorgeous men, Cain, Malachi and Roman right beside her after saving her. Ophelia and her Preachers face the Prophet once and for all, but nothing comes without a price. Every step forward drags another truth into the light, and each revelation cuts deeper. They’re hit from every side—betrayal, secrets, and relentless twists designed to break them—but walking away has never been an option for any of them! The protective, obsessed men they are, they will never leave this girl. And the heat, the scenes, you will blush and catch fire! The chemistry between these four is off the pages pure fire!! This story is full of bloody action, devastating emotion, and a soul-deep love between these four. Dark, all-consuming, and impossible to put down, the PERFECT why choose from these two authors! And now we will be heading into a whole new era of Verona Falls, the MC, and I cannot wait!! Rate: 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 5/5🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
👉paranormal romance 👉dark college romance 👉touch her and ☠️ 👉obsessive MMCs 👉secret society 👉second chance 👉childhood friends
🖤THANK YOU Marissa Farrar, S.R. Jones and Booksprout for my ARC!
So excited to read this third, and final, installment of ‘Verona Falls Preachers’ trilogy. It was absolutely worth the wait. Most notably, Ophelia and Roman are more comfortable in their own skin—very happy to see this in both characters, but especially Roman. Ophelia’s dear friend from the commune, Daisy, finds her way to her to give her a warning. There’s betrayal w/in their group and they all come face to face with the prophet. A lot of intense action, hot spice, bitter betrayal, and amazing moments. So good. Looking forward to Verona Falls Bikers Trilogy next!
Great wrap up for the Preachers trilogy. We have drama, adventure, loyalty, betrayal, growth, love, just everything in this book. Fast paced, page turning, one more chapter turning into an all night bender to finish it kind of energy. The Prophet is prophetizing in his culty way, there’s death, destruction, an inside man. Someone from Roman’s past resurfaces. Relationships are on the mend, emotional healing ensues, let the HEA commence. We get to see the Preachers come together with the Devil and the Vipers, new friendships form and we see the set up for the next Verona Falls trilogy…Camille is gonna get her story! TBH, I held off reading this trilogy because the Preachers were a bit off putting to me in the Vipers trilogy but I’m glad I finally did. With some back story into what Roman’s beliefs/teachings are, it is far less creepy. Can’t wait for what Marissa and Skye have in store for us next.
The Preacher's Prize is the 3rd and final book in the Verona Falls Preachers series and picks up where The Preacher's Promise leaves off with Daisy delivering news to Ophelia about the cult. These authors have brought us a spectacular finale' that wraps up Roman, Cain, Ophelia and Malachi's journey beautifully. All of the intrigue, lies, betrayals and deceit are brought to light and payback is exacted just as it should be. And just wait til that ending and what these authors have heading our way! Verona Falls is one exciting adventure after the next!
"These men are my home, and I know they will be for as long as I have air in my lungs. I’ve finally found the place I belong, and my heart is full."
Hang on tight because this twisted book is full of action that will have you on the edge of your seat!
Finally the last book in the Verona Falls University series. This was bittersweet because I couldn't wait for the conclusion but I also didn't want to say goodbye to these amazing characters.
I was once again pulled into this intense, twisted world and I loved it. What a ride! I was not expecting the turns I was taken on.
Ophelia, Cain, Malachi, and Roman will forever be living rent-free in my mind.
This has been one of the best dark why-choose romances. Not only was there a lot of steaming spice but the plot and characters were amazing.
Well done, I'm looking forward to the next set of books in this series!
The Preachers' Prize: A Dark College Bully Romance (Verona Falls Preachers Book 3) by Marissa Farrar, S.R. Jones My Rating: 5 Stars Reviewed by: Tammy - Book Nook Nuts
REVIEW The Preacher's Prize is the end... And it's Epically twisted. Full of action. Add in some betrayal and monsters.
Secrets lead to...death for many.
Roman, Malachi, and Kane will never let her out of their sight again after this mess of epic proportions. Can they finally lay her past to rest?
Dark, Drama, Spice, and rolling emotions await you in this story.
Ophelia and her men are determined to put an end the Prophet's reign. She really evolved in this installment she took back her power and control. Daisy comes into play with her revelations of the cult.
Camille is trying to find her way and Jack seems play a part in her plans but that's a whole other story. Ophelia and the others make a decision regarding their relationship and want their men to fall in line.
Marissa and S.R. really know how to keep the readers invested between jaw dropping twists, steam, humor and so much more.
Book picks right up with the bomb shell Daisy drops on Ophelia. Now Ophelia and her Preachers take on the Prophet once and for all, though things come to light that bring complications once again for this foursome. They kept getting things thrown at them left and right. But together they stand through it all.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book was wild. And a great conclusion to this series. Ophelia and her men run through this one and let everyone know there weren’t going quietly. It at all for that matter. Ophelia wasn’t going to be their pet anymore. This book had wild twists and turns and was a deliciously dark and wicked read. I loved the chaos and the intensity of this book. And I loved how the guys protected her and had her back.
As the last book in the trilogy, everything starts to come together. Daisy has dropped the news after escaping from the commune to warn her. They realize that the prophet has some horrible plans and is still out to take Ophelia back for himself. Someone is betraying them, and they need to find out who it is, and there are a lot of secrets that are revealed!
The MC's chemistry is still strong, and the spice between the four of them is super steamy! The guys are still OTT and willing to do anything for Ophelia, and she's ready to face her past.
A lot happens in this book - I'm trying not to give too much away, but the book has lots of tension, twists and mystery that will keep you in suspense.

The final in the Verona Falls series and what an end it is! Ophelia maybe back with her preachers, Cain, malachi and Roman but its not the end of their troubles a warning that their pet is still wanted by the prophet leads the preachers to do all they can to eliminate him at any cost! Well written engaging steamy desires drama action and more
Great Ending A happy conclusion for Ophelia and her men. It was so rewarding to see Ophelia take back her power and overcome all the obstacles thrown at her. All the shocking secrets that were revealed made it even better. This was a fantastic conclusion to the Verona Falls University series.
I was committed to finishing the Preachers books even though I've struggled to really connect with the characters and the storyline. Honestly, I didn't feel much differently in this last book than I did with the other two. It was just okay. Still no real connection and found the guys to be...odd? Eh.
This was a great way to end the Preacher's books. They had to go through so much to get where they need to be. You finally meet the devil him self and the surprises from the past come out. Plus you get hint into the next series.
This was the last book in preacher’s trilogy, and it had everything. Plot twists (on a plot twist), character development, spice (with some rituals as well) and trauma (because we cannot without trauma).
Silence The Preacher’s will do anything and everything for Ophelia to silence the voices in her head as well as the ones responsible. Anything! Because to them, she is and always will be, everything!
This was the perfect ending to the Preachers trilogy. I love my Malachi even more now than ever. It was fast paced and a definite page turner with just the right amount of spice and let me say ….Vani’s daddy is oomph. Yes please! I’m ready.
What a great ending to Ophelia and the Preacher's trilogy! With all the twists and turns, betrayal, and secrets that are revealed. This book kept all my attention. In addition there was drama, action, lots of feels, spice, and more!! I'm glad they get their happy ending!
