Official blurb - a man hurt your best friend – like, really hurt her – what would you do?
Key his car? Or hunt him down and chop him into little pieces? Tough decision, I know.
I’ve tracked this lowlife to LA and brought my little sister Antoinette along for the ride. I’m trying not to be irritated that she’s found a taste for murder and is leaving body parts all over our hotel. Because this girls’ trip needs a Hollywood ending.
And of all the men I’ve killed before, this one will be the sweetest…

My thoughts - I actually feel a mix of sadness with the excitement because it’s the last instalment of Kitty Collins! 🥺 I hope there’s some sort of Antoinette book in the future! I have to be careful what I say as I don’t want spoilers but I bloody LOVE kitty’s sister! The humour in this did not disappoint! The bit about the over dose was hilarious ( you’ll see!) my favourite quib in the book! 😂 what can I say my humour is twisted lol! Love all the characters, well most lol, this was my favourite of them all! I could not put it down and the ending 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 it was PERFECT! So proud of you Katy Brent! You smashed this book right out that park girl! If you have to wait to read until August trust me…. IT WILL BE WORTH IT!

This book is officially my favourite of the entire series and I had SO much fun reading it. The dynamic between Kitty and Antoinette was absolutely chef’s kiss. Antoinette brought such chaotic energy to the story and every interaction between the two of them was entertaining, funny, and completely addictive to read.

Katy Brent once again perfectly balanced dark humour, rom com vibes, shocking moments, and of course the very satisfying removal of awful men who absolutely had it coming. But what surprised me most in this one was the amount of empathy I ended up feeling for someone who so obviously deserved to die. Somehow this series always manages to make you laugh one second and question your own morals the next.

I also loved seeing Kitty continue to grow throughout the series while still giving us the sharp wit and murdery chaos that makes these books so entertaining. The twists, the humour, the characters — everything just worked for me in this one.

If you’ve been following Kitty’s journey from the start, you are going to LOVE this book. Easily my favourite in the series so far and one I absolutely flew through. 💋🔪

Darling, if revenge had a frequent flyer programme, Kitty Collins would be in first class to LA. ✈️🔪

Kitty’s back — and this time she’s brought her delightfully unhinged little sister, Antoinette, along for the ride. The mission? Track down the man who left one of Kitty’s closest friends for dead. Subtle? Not quite. Satisfying? Absolutely.

Naturally, he’s not the only one who ends up on the Collins sisters’ rather… bespoke justice system. Along the way we’re treated to new friendships, a dash of romance, and that irresistible found-family warmth — all wrapped up in the gloriously dark humour we’ve come to expect.

And honestly, as wicked as it all is, slipping back into Kitty’s world feels a bit like coming home… if home were slightly murderous and impeccably well-dressed.

Many thanks to Netgalley and HarperCollins for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

We were lucky enough to receive an ARC of the third book in the Kitty Collins series and it definitely did not disappoint. Picking back up with Kitty felt so effortless, like returning to the chaos of a friend whose life you know is about to spiral in the most entertaining way possible.

While I really missed the audiobook narration this time around because it added so much personality to the earlier books, the story itself still completely held up. The twists kept coming, the dark humour was as sharp as ever, and the “murdery” chaos that makes this series so addictive was still front and center. Katy Brent has such a fun way of balancing suspense with humour, and it makes these books incredibly easy to fly through.

I found myself fully invested the entire time, constantly wondering what Kitty was going to do next and how everything was possibly going to unravel. Even when things get outrageous, Kitty remains such an entertaining character to follow.

Overall, this was another solid 4-star read for me and now I’m already missing Kitty Collins. I genuinely hope this isn’t the last we see of her because I would absolutely keep reading more of this series.

I have not read book #1 or #2. While it is absolutely not necessary to be able to enjoy book #3 I’m sad to have missed them.

Kitty and her sister Antoinette are vigilantes. Well Kitty is. And Antionette is her apprentice. They don’t kill women…well unless they have to. But they do kill a lot of men especially if they have harmed women in their past. There’s more to the story…but that’s really all you need to know. This book is so entertaining. I read it start to finish in one day by accident because I didn’t feel the need to put it down. The story is good but it doesn’t even really matter because it was written so well. Highly recommend.

Thanks NetGalley for the opportunity to read in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you NetGalley and HarperCollins Canada for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

2.75 ⭐️ Not gonna lie, this was a slow start for me. The premise—a vegan feminist serial killer and her sister hoping to follow in her footsteps—is great, but the execution felt a bit too caricatured, and the humor didn’t quite land. The twists were easy to spot early on, and it was hard to feel anything aside from mild annoyance towards most of the characters. Though this book had its moments, overall, I might just be a bit too millennial (see also: old) for it to really hit the mark.

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for letting me read this arc.
I was really excited to read this arc because of the description, and I wasn’t disappointed at all.
I really enjoyed the concept of the book and the plot. Women killing disgusting men? Yes yes and yes I’m totally in.
—> “The Collins sisters”, I really liked the #foundfamily between the main character and her sister. Not only that but we had also a bit of friendship, and also love.
It was such an easy and funny read, even tho it was a bit predictable all along, it didn’t take away the joy of reading it.

Thanks HarperCollins and NatGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. I absolutely love this series, and this might be my favourite book in it yet. It was totally binge-worthy, with a few fun twists as well. While these characters are not ones you should love, Brent writes them so well that I do. I finished this book in a single sitting. If you like these funny mystery/suspense novels, check this one out when it’s released at the end of August. It was a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read for me (for this kind of genre).

I was lucky enough to get an early copy. And I could not put it down. I read it all in one evening. Being an absolute avid fan of Katy and her writing and a self proclaimed Kitty Collins super fan I can honestly say this instalment was everything I needed as a reader and more. Katy’s writing is just fabulous and the story is just as gripping as the previous two instalments of Kitty. Love love love!!!

I absolutely love Kitty Collins and I’m glad she’s back. Katy Brent writes so well and she’s fast become one of my favourite authors. Lots of dark humour, great characters and the best reasons for murder. I’m already looking forward to reading more about Kitty.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for the ARC in return for my honest and unbiased opinion.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this series, and the latest – and final – instalment was a fitting end, while still offering up some unexpected moments.
I will say, Antoinette was a bit annoying to begin with, with her going off script time and time again. And I wasn’t the biggest fan of the way in which her kidnapping was resolved, as well as the eventual and supposed reveal of who the WeHo serial killer was.
I also wasn’t sure that Agnes would have reacted like she did at the end. The fact that she was totally on board with what Kitty and Antoinette do and had been doing, felt a bit off and didn’t get much explanation.
But, like the other two books in this series, it was a fun and engaging romp, while still tackling and discussing important topics such as misogyny and the treatment of women.
I also really liked the LA/somewhat exotic setting. If anything, it would make a great beach or holiday read, especially if you’re flashing the cover at the pool or sitting at the airport.
I essentially couldn't put it down, and read it within 24 hours.
Even though I’m sad that this is Kitty’s final outing, I did enjoy the way in which it ended, and I’m not so secretly hoping for an Antoinette spin-off next.

This is the second book I have read from this author and I was not disappointed. Even though it is gruesome in parts the author manages to make it an enjoyable tale.
