For a oneshot, that wasn't bad. The plot is light and serves as an excuse to justify all those sex scenes. And while the romance isn't much to write home about, I was impressed by the main character's arc. Perfect for when you want something silly. Would pick up something by this mangaka again.

3.75 pretty ridiculous in its premise but very cute and fluffy deals with a little bit of darkness in its themes grief and what that does to you and opens you up to. The premise is so ridiculous you can't help but laugh even when things get dark.

Green flags, decent art, I hope more is translated by this author in the future.

The book cover IS SO PREEETTY!!!! And my goooodness, i feel like the majority of books I’ve read this year have a lot of piss kink which ok im not into irl but reading about it is kinda neato

I picked this up after seeing it recommended by an Instagram influencer and I can’t help but wonder if it was sponsored, because my experience didn’t match the hype at all.

For a standalone, I was expecting something tight, engaging, and emotionally satisfying. Instead, the story felt shallow and underdeveloped. The BL romance, in particular, lacked tension... you know, the kind that makes you feel something, that builds anticipation or longing. It was all just… there, without any real weight behind it.

The plot itself didn’t offer much to hold onto either. It moved along, but without depth or complexity, so I never felt invested in what was happening.

As for the art, it simply wasn’t for me. It was easy on the eyes to look and didn’t elevate the story or compensate for its weaknesses.

Overall, this was a miss for me. I went in expecting something fun and compelling, but it ended up feeling forgettable.

Thanks so much to the publisher for the DRC. This was one of my most anticipated BL reads for the fall/winter.

I love the inclusion of exorcism but I died of laughter when they revealed that liquids make the exorcists stronger. Who came up with that?! Our ML stumbles upon a porn star who is known for his "squirting" DVD series and propositions him in exchange for protecting him from ghosts/spirits and bam, they fall in love.

I really like the premise but I think the "plot" would have benefitted from an extra volume or two. The artwork was gorgeous and I really enjoyed how everyone was characterized. Regardless of it shortness, it was still a wild ride of a story that I enjoyed.

I love the art. I am swooning over it. The humor is great. I am sat for the smut. It's a great mix of all the elements I like. Story wise, it is smut heavy....understandably???? The premise is promising that lol 😆 I wish there was more going on 😅.....but a second volume would do wonders for that. Fingers crossed 🤞🥺

I'm actually yelling. This book is so goofy and I can't stop laughing. The premise is paper thin (exorcising spirits through erotic bodily fluids??) but it's charming and funny and well... Honestly erotic. I really loved the fast pace and solid relationship that develops between our leads
