They say returning home is not easy, whoever ‘they’ are. Andrew, a Watcher, had returned to Earth intending to help humans understand they were not alone in the Universe. As plans go, this one had tanked. Earth had won the first two space battles, but they didn’t know that yet. Andrew had gained a Fiancée and the AI on his ship was, well, on her own journey. Then there were the two (because one would have been too simple) alien species intent on conquering Earth. They seemed to have a passion for early morning attacks. On the other hand, this Watcher has great support including his strikingly attractive Fiancée who is combat hardened and one of four Guardians assigned by the Watcher Council to protect him. Then there are random (six foot tall Godzilla meets T-Tex) Reptoids, huge bear-like Ursans, a definitely feline, female fighter pilot, random assassins and an Armageddon class interstellar warship. Of course, there is also the question of the missing Muon species and Cloe’s fixation with roses. ‘I’ve got this,’ Andrew thought as he planned his speech, “People of Earth, I come in Peace … Ignore the Gunslingers who are with me.”
I was born in Quantico Naval Hospital, Virginia in 1949 and in 1972 was staff at that same hospital. I retired from the U.S. Navy in 1992 and now live in Southern California with my wife who also serves in the capacity of editor for my books.
Over the past decades he has attended the University of California at Riverside, George Washington University School of Medicine and several lesser edifices of higher education with mixed results.
As a result of this varied education I spent time in Navy Medicine and medical laboratories, I have been a freelance photographer, web designer, dabbled in programming, enjoy teaching and other pursuits.
After repeated suggestions from my wife, family and friends that he put the stories in his head down on paper, I have begun to do the same. You may be the proud owner of one, maybe more of those stories or just curious about me.
In either case I sincerely hope you enjoy my stories.
I have just finished the novel, it was an enjoyable read, I can't wait for the third. I was enchanted by a couple of characters that are now my favorite. To an author who has just started this was a great book , I couldn't put it down, though we're some slower parts once you passed them it gets super exciting ! I'm very glad that I read this book.
