Left with Lilith's haunting words, Luc sees himself for the irredeemable man he truly is.
Lucifer's Legion Motorcycle Club's reputation is ruined, the clubhouse is burned to the ground, and Angel is the only remaining loose end for the club to tie up.
With nothing left to lose, Luc makes the only move he has left and sacrifices everything for the only woman who ever made him want to be a better man.
SAVED is the fourth and final part of the Lucifer's Legion Motorcycle Club serial.
This was freaky-wtf-where was the whole thing going-roller coaster RIDE!
The ending was unexpected.. it seems like ever since I started this book, all I've been saying is WTF JUST HAPPENED! The whole thing sucked me in and played with my mind. And let me tell ya, I don't like being played!!!
*breaths*
The whole installment was a good read. If you like gritty and dark then look no further, this will hit you in the right spot!
Overall.. 3 STARS.
Now why 3? Well, the ending was not for me!
I was kinda hoping for some rainbow farts-oh I'm-a-new-man-let's-live-happily-ever-fuckin-after..
I mean, for all the mind fuck I experienced while reading this book and patiently waited for the installments to be released.. I'm expecting the ending to be GREAT! heck! just a satisfying one is okay.. just give me a HEA!
T___T
I think I'ma stay away from dark books for now.. lol.
This was the probably one of the most fucked up stories I have ever read. It pretty much started in book 1 where Luc refers to himself as Lucifer. Okay that was point 1. Point 2 is he and Randy kidnap this crazy sociopath girl named Lilith. She has all kinds of satanic tattoos and sayings all over her body and when I say she is whacked out I'm being kind, Point 3. He talks to her about seeing hell and that he is going to train her to be a sex slave and the life she knew was peaches to the life in hell she will soon be in, point 4. Okay at this point, folks, I'm waiting for Sam and Dean to barge in and try to save the day by not opening the last gate to hell, aka Lilith. I'm also waiting for her to go all psycho and blaze a whole town to the ground. See my dilemma???? But on another note.... this was all kinds of just fucked up... from the get go till the very end.
On the plus side..... it had some hot sex scenes... but not enough to change the fucked upness.
Wow. Okay. These books were like nothing I've ever read before. Raw, dirty and dark and just.... There are no words to describe the way I feel about them. In this last installment, we see Luc falling apart after Lilith's death. The club is destroyed, but he has Angel back. She is bruised, inside and out, and completely different from the girl he remembers handing over to the cartel. Choices have to be made and I was rather shocked by Luc's decision. Lilith's death keeps haunting him till the end of the book and we can see his character slowly unravelling. I was surprised with the ending but I admire the author for not falling victim to overused clichés. Bravo. Great dark read. I will miss it. 4 Stars.
Nice dark and gritty. I've been following this series from book one. With how this ended I'm scratching my head wondering oooooo kay, the point was? Sure he does the right thing at the end but why? The man loves no one other than himself, we've seen that time again, so his actions makes no since. Does he honestly think by leaving Angel the way he did he's keeping her safe? Dahhh Randy found her once, so its not like she's in the clear. Love the writing and storyline, but not sure if that was the end. So many unanswered questions and loose ends. Felt like one enormous cliffy.
Ok I seriously wasn't expecting anything that happened in any of these books! Totally different than your normal "human trafficking" book. There was no hero. He was more like the devil, aptly named Lucifer! This was dark and messed up! I tend to like that though.
OMG!!! Amazing !!! definitely one to read.. I didn't think that this series would be so good but as you delve more into the world you see things differently and get more attached to the characters!!!
Saved begins with the shocking conclusion of Angel. Lilith takes her own life, leaving the MC without a slave to provide to the Cartel. Luc deeply feels the lose.
"That had a story so f...kin similiar to mine it almost felt like there was a thread connecting us. The soul of my soul. Now she's gone, and I can feel the thread pullin' at me..."
Luc makes a quick decision and takes back his Angel. While on the run from the MC, Luc continually re-evaluates his decision.
"Just like Lilith in the desert. I should have killed her then, but I couldn't. It was the start of the whole thing. The start of my f..kin, ruin. How many times sine then have I wished to turn the clock back so I could do it? So I that I could pull the trigger and fix everything?"
He's not able to end Angel's life, so he has someone else make the decision for him.
This series is VERY, VERY DARK! There is no happy fairy tale ending. Lilith and Angel have ruined Luc or or saved him retrospectively. Luc struggles with conscious and unexpectedly becomes the anti-hero. At first I was not happy with the ending, but as I thought about it there was no other ending for this story. Bravo Kelli Maine for finding a beacon in the darkness. http://readingkeepmesane.blogspot.com/ Follow me on Twitter @ReadKeepMeSane And at Facebook https://www.facebook.com/ReadingKeeps...
The last installment of the LLMC series picks up exactly where part 3 left off. I don't understand why the story - which all total is not quite 250 pages and represents a shorter to average novel - is broken up into 4 parts - but that's just a personal annoyance.
I felt the entire story was reasonably well written. The reason I didn't rate it any higher than "Okay" was because I didn't like or feel any particularly strong emotional connection to any of the characters. Consequently...I really didn't care what happened to any of them. I didn't have any major issues with the ending with the exception of feeling that it was out of character for Luc. I never really felt his supposedly growing ambivalence about his life, or his developing guilt or remorse.
I completely could not wrap my head around Angel's reaction to Luc and I have honestly no idea where it came from (and Stockholm Syndrome storylines when done well are my absolute favorites). I almost dropped my kindle when Angel says to Luc, "maybe we can still see each other". Really???? I swear I did not see the part where the Mexican cartel gave her a partial lobotomy. I really thought she'd be saying something more along the lines of "Maybe I could stick an ice pick through your eye and feed your body to a pack of wild hyenas."...but I did say in the review of a previous installment that she was clearly not the sharpest crayon in the box.
The fourth and final book of this short serial. The end was not where I thought it was gonna go but I guess it had to end where it did and how it did. When I started this series I didn't know it was a short fast serial as I don't read them often cause of the time in between books but I got this when all the books were out so I didn't have to wait for the books to come out. This series deals a lot with the sex slave industry so beware if you don't like that stuff.
Dark and gritty MC read. Im not totally sure how i feel about the ending in this book. I didn't expect an HEA but i thought there would be more of the ending but i do get why it ended the way it did. As a whole series, i enjoyed this series but as a last book, i feel it was missing something but not really sure what. Great characters and storyline.
As insanely dark and depraved as this story seemed to be, I actually really really liked it. I'm normally about the upbeat, not-so-dark HEAs and this is definitely not even close but I get it, and I loved how much it deviated from the typical love stories I've read so major kudos to Kelli Maine.
This series was unlike anything I have read before. It was brutal and at times hard to read but was definitely an experience. While the final page did not give me the ending that I would have hoped for, it was he right ending for these characters in this story.
This was a very disturbing and strange series. I would definitely only recommend this if you have Kindle Unlimited. $2.99 for 45 pages on each book is insane. I do have to give points for creativity with this series.
I have to say I left wanting with this one did not expect it to end this way. It was way too quick - I just wanted MORE much MORE. He did the last thing he thought would redeem himself.
I love this book I have not found a book I really loved like 50 shades of grey but this one is it I couldn't put it down serifs loved it write. More please
