This book pulled me in right away—I honestly didn’t want to put it down. J.D. Goland has a way of mixing action, mystery, and emotion that makes the story so addictive. The world feels unique but easy to imagine, and the darker tone gave it a really gripping edge. The writing is so detailed I could feel every twist and turn and picture myself in this exact place. The ending left me satisfied and eager.
