Just when I thought we’d won, a new threat looms in Manhattan. The gate to Hell has been reopened, and Lilith has escaped into the city streets.
To make matters worse, she has her sights set on me.
Caim and I are the only ones who can stop her. In a quest to save the human world, we venture into Hell to lure the Queen of Chaos back to where she belongs and trap her there.
Time is running out. And if we fail, flames will consume the world.

A whirlwind adventure full of hellish creatures, interesting new twists, and a smile HEA. The story was hard to put down from the start and I enjoyed the twists along the way. The ending was a little fast and too neat but it still worked and made me smile.
The thrilling conclusion to the magnificent demons after dark temptation trilogy. This series has been awesome and fantastic to read. I loved the previous trilogy demons after dark covenant and hoped this trilogy would be just as good it was. I absolutely loved it. I loved the characters I was so happy that Morax the seventh and missing legion member had been found and put back together. I loved the truth about Eva’s past had come to light. I definitely recommend reading this series it’s entertaining and enjoyable to read.
Following the events of the previous book infernal has been destroyed and the hellgate is open, the human world has finally been exposed to the supernatural world and it’s creatures. Asmodeus goes into the gate and discovers it doesn’t directly lead to Lucifer’s city Allyria but has split into two paths the other leads to the seventh circle of hell. Eva comes to terms and overcomes disagreements with her darkness until she fully accepts herself and truly become one being. The legion want Eva to tell their story, the truth to the whole world. Eva starts remembering more flashbacks of her mother being concerned over Dr Wilkes and begins investigating. The legion track Hannah the witch that gave them info in the prior book to help them see what kind of magic caused this hellgate to open, Hannah tells them something supernatural caused this and that this gate was intended to stay open forever meaning creatures of hell will be able to run rampant on earth, Hannah tries a spell but it doesn’t work the gate reacts and opens wider the legion begins to suspect her but are interrupted by the fae River who tells them they were tricked the Potion that caim stole isn’t the cure it’s a spell to open the gate. Caim feeling horribly guilty that if he had forced Eva to take the cure she would have died but she misunderstood his demeanour thinking he is rejecting her because of her demonic side. The fallen angels Suriel and Gabe come with a dire warning the demon was Lilith is on earth and is hunting. Stolas tells them all Lilith has ever wanted was her lover back Adam the stories were wrong they weren’t ever human they were the first created from the great pit of hell, Adam was a demonic monster that even a soulless Lucifer couldn’t deal with him so he took his rib and hid it on earth and Adam as long as his body was never completed he would be trapped forever. Eva gets an uneasy feeling about the story and the pain in her rib. Lilith turns up at caims apartment and tries to take Eva but is stopped but escapes. Eva decides to see her doctor to get answers but all he’s stuff is gone from the clinic luckily they catch him at home unfortunately Lilith turns up as well. Eva learns her father was part demon and that dr Wilkes is part of the league of morality entrusted to keep the rib of adam hidden by doing so he hid it in unsuspecting humans. Her demon didn’t come from the orb it was always there only hidden by a witches spell. She learns that Adam is a monster that wanted a kingdom of his own and endless wars his favourites would be spared and become loyal subjects but the others would be in eternal hell. The legion think it’s a good idea to flee and keep Eva hidden by River forces her to go to hell to trap Lilith by using the favor that Eva owes her from the previous book. So Mia and Asmodeus go into hell to warn Lucifer and caim and Eva go to hell to head to the great pit. Unfortunately theyre separated and Eva is captured by a demon who holds her until Lilith arrives. Lilith takes to her to the great pit and tells her their history Lilith, Adam were some of the first demons however another was created weak and a half breed called Eve who seduced Adam and took his rib in hopes of becoming powerful like him but it killed her that’s why Dr Wilkes targeted certain women including Eva they’re descendants of Eve. Lilith takes the rib from Eva, Eva accepts her true self and uses her powers to heal herself, caim fights Adam and Eva fights Lilith and destroys the rib, because if the rib is exposed too long it will be destroyed. They exit hell and meet up with Mia, Asmodeus and Lucifer who decides to permanently destroy the gate because he doesn’t want to deal with a raging Lilith and doesn’t have to worry about any demon trying to take his place and power. One year later Asmodeus and Caim have reinvented the infernal club, Morax is back in one piece with his brothers and Eva is living a pain free life. She also became a reporter who did the story on supernatural creatures helping them and humans coexist easily
This book is the conclusion to the series. Starting off from the last book the gates of hell have been opened due to an explosion happening. Struggling to find a way to close the gates meant that Lilith had the chance to escape. Learning that Eva has Adam’s rib inside her, which was the cause of her illness, she has to avoid Lilith capturing her and freeing Adam. In order to avoid Lilith from getting the rib it is decided that Eva would be on the run. However, River has other plans and calls her favour and sends Eva to the centre of hell drawing Lilith to follow. I hated River so much for asking that of Eva but i can totally see why she did it. So Eva and Caim set off on a mission to draw Lilith to the centre of hell and destroy both her and the rib.
Eva finally hit some character growth by the end of this book. The fact that she couldn’t accept that her demon was a part of her annoyed me so much. However, when she finally accepted that part of herself i wanted to shout hallelujah. There were a lot of plot twists about Eva that i didn’t see coming in this book. It answered all questions i had about Eva, her illness and her parents. There only a few happy moments in this book for me. One of which is where Eva ran into two demons that were nice to her. That made me smile, especially when they warned her to be careful and then invited her for a meal if she ever returned. The fact that her and Caim both went to visit the two demons after the battle was over made me even happier.
Overall, i think this was a nice conclusion to the series. You don’t really see much of Eva and Caim together, which i didn’t enjoy as much. However, it let Eva’s character grow into something stronger knowing she had to fight on her own. I would have liked to see her and Caim at least talk about their emotions at the end of the book which didn’t happen. As he wasn’t pushing her away to keep her safe and Eva thought he didn’t love her anymore i would have liked to see how they tackled that situation. Nevertheless it was still a book I enjoyed.

As part of the ARC team, I got to enjoy this a little earlier and it is definitely a great trilogy end to Caim and Eva’s story. May contain slight spoilers………..!
I loved Jenna’s take on Hell and the whole Adam and Eve story. I kinda had an inkling her rib was going to be something big in Book 2 and definitely “eeked” when it was revealed the story behind it in this book. I loved the dirty jokes when nervous (because I totally get that) and the sisterhood of the ladies (Eva, Mia, Sarah, and Anya) and how they have each other’s back. I enjoyed the trip through hell and the “not-so-evil” characters we met along the way. Although I would’ve liked a little more spice with Caim and Eva this book (yet that lusty Pan trick was hot), I liked their relationship bumps to allow Eva to grow in her darkness and Caim to still be there showing her he cares, even if she doubted him at times. Great book Jenna and hopefully we get to see some more demons soon!
Whilst I did enjoy the end to this series it did kind of feel like it was wrapped up a little too easily after everything in the three books. It was cool to see how Eva tied into it all I was expecting it to be something through her mum or exposing her father sort of thing. In the final book Lilith comes through the doorway and wants to take Eva back to hell to help release Adam her lover, he was put in the pit of hell long ago and his rib was removed so he couldn't reform. Said rib has been kept safe over the centuries time after time by a Cambion half mortal half demon. A lot of truths are revealed in the final book about Eva and her lineage, the truth about her and her mother's illnesses and why her life was of such importance to Lilith. I'd love some Novellas of some of the other guys 💖 Definitely Recommend Reading 📚
This series needs more ratings, you guys don’t know what you missing out on. Anybody who is a lover or anything supernatural, action, love, twists and excitement. This is where you will find it. A whole different unique story with lucifer, demons, witches and fae. A lot of traits similar but still have its own input and influence. It’s an absolute brilliant and incredible series, one that will have you swooning and addicted to. It’s binge worthy.
Never read anything from Jenna Wolfhart and I’m happy to say I enjoyed her series very much. If anybody like myself has read from authors like Lola glass, avery stone, Ivy Asher, Sam hall, Eva chase, Debbie Cassidy and jaymin eve then you will absolutely love this series ❤️
Wow, the plot twists in this book had me speechless. So much happened that I never could have predicted, honestly this book had me on the edge of my seat unable to put it down. I love the storyline, it's strong and consistent from the beginning to end. The characters are extremely interesting, all have different personalities. This series is definitely becoming my favourite, including it's predecessor with Az. I really can't wait for the next spin off, I'm curious to see which of the men it will be. I'm hoping Stolas, that guy is full of mystery and intrigue.
This has been one hell of a journey but oh so worth it! Caim And Eva’s adventure has been action packed, exciting and very entertaining and we finally get the answers we have been waiting for!! The characters are amazing, the storyline enthralling and gripping and the ending is just epic as we see Eva and Caim try to trap Lilith before the end of the world!! It’s been an incredible series and is one that I would definitely recommend to any paranormal / fantasy fan.
Eva and Caim. Wow. This series has it all!! Loved it SO much!! We get to know more about Eva (she frustrates me so much). All of the Legion are in my dreams ;) The uniqueness of these characters is so interesting, I am drawn to each of them but for different reasons. This is a page turner.. plan your time wisely because you won't want to put it down!
The 2 series of stories are good, the storyline and writing is good but gets a bit long winded in parts, the endings have been rather quick and abrupt, still a good series.
Absolutely fantastic and brilliantly written. The saying Alls well that ends well is never more true of this story. If you've read the other 2 episodes you'll know what I mean, if you haven't this is episode 3 and won't make sense without them.
You will love Eva and Caims ending to their story. We learn so much more about Eva and her demon and why she is always sick. This book will take you on an adventure you won't want to end.
