And one father’s final wish: live boldly, love recklessly, and never hide the curves of your lives—or your bodies.
From USA Today bestselling author Tracy Sumner comes a steamy Regency romance featuring a curvy heroine, a single-dad duke, an irresistible age gap, and a matchmaking scheme destined to fail.
Georgiana Harrington has no need of a husband. Bold, beautiful, and entirely too independent for society’s comfort, she would rather make her own way than become anyone’s duchess. But her father’s final letter gives her a task she cannot ignore: help engineer a match.
The last person she expects to help her is the Duke of Dunmere. A widowed father with an heir already secured and no wish for a wife, Ren is lonelier than he’d ever admit. He’s too old for Georgiana, too sensible to want her, and too drawn to her to stay out of her plans.
Helping her bring two other people together ought to be simple. Instead, every moment in her company reminds Ren just how empty his orderly life has become—and how badly he wants the one woman he cannot have.
Because Georgiana may be trying to arrange someone else’s happy ending, but Dunmere is the one in danger of losing his heart.

The USA Today bestselling author's storytelling career began when she picked up a historical romance on a college beach trip, and she fondly blames LaVyrle Spencer for her obsession with the genre. She’s a recipient of the National Reader’s Choice, HOLT Medallion, Golden Leaf and MAGGIE among others. She lived in New York, Paris and Taipei before returning to NYC.
When not writing sizzling love stories about feisty heroines and their temperamental-but-entirely-lovable heroes, Tracy enjoys reading, snowboarding, college football (Go Tigers!), yoga, and travel. She loves to hear from romance readers!
I’m a big Tracy Sumner fan, and I enjoyed this novella, even though the format left me wanting more. Gia’s role as matchmaker gives the story some genuinely funny moments as she sizes up the male prospects at the house party. She’s a very likeable FMC, curvy, independent, and quietly sensual in a way that widowed Ren draws out as the story unfolds.
Ren’s sweet relationship with his son was a highlight for me. Sumner writes children incredibly well, and she makes Ren’s fatherhood part of his appeal.
There’s plenty of chemistry between the mains and a whirlwind connection within the house party setting. While I do wish there had been a bit more tension, it was an easy, fun read.
Tracy Sumner never does me wrong. I have been reading the Busty Bodice Club novellas and having a great time, and I love Tracy Sumner, so I was expecting to enjoy Curves for the Silver Fox Duke. I was not expecting an absolute banger of a novella—one of the best I've read all year.
Thanks to Tracy Sumner and the team behind the Busty Bodice Club for the complimentary ARC.
Lady Georgiana is the third of the eight Harrington sisters. Since their father's passing, his daughters have each received a task to complete, which will unlock a modest inheritance. After her two older sisters completed their tasks, George received hers. She needs to facilitate a match between two people—a big task for the most practical of the Harrington girls. To that end, George is at a house party where she's taking copious notes on the attendees, but one keeps catching her eye: Renwick Bellamont, the Duke of Dunmere. Ren is a widower with a young son and is easily ten years older than George. He's sworn off love after his disastrous marriage and has devoted himself to his son, Henry. But he never planned on Lady Georgiana Harrington entering his life.
I love Tracy's writing and will read pretty much anything she puts out. The opening to this novella was so compelling, I looked up after finishing the first scene between our two leads in disbelief that she managed to do so much in such a short period of time. Within just a few pages, she established the stakes for Georgiana, the relationship between Ren and his son, and the tension between our two main characters with so much finesse, I almost didn't know what to do with myself.
Tracy writes a hero. She puts a great heroine on the page, too, but I turn to her for a man who sucks up all the oxygen in the room. Ren is exactly what I am shopping for with a Tracy Sumner man. He's starchy, a little jaded, has a sordid past, and a rich inner life that he never lets anyone see due to his daddy issues. Just put it in my veins. Literally the only thing she could have done to make me love him more was have him be a Napoleonic War veteran.
This novella was a little different from the two preceding it in the series because we didn't get a wider glimpse of the rest of the Harrington sisters. I actually think that made this more successful because Tracy wasn't having to do the work of introducing us to the other sisters. We got to completely focus on George, which gave her more room to breathe. She is very different from the two sisters we've met so far, and I really liked getting to know her independent of the chaos that is the Harrington women.
I loved this. Curves for the Silver Fox Duke was by far my favorite of this series so far. 5 stars.
I can't get enough of this busty bodice club series and now this amazing gem from Tracy Sumner.
This is an age gap romance with a second chance romance.
Georgiana is given the task of matchmaking by her late father to gain her inheritance or she loses it.. just when she thinks she's hit a dead end.. an ally that sets her blood on fire and makes her feel beautiful comes to the rescue.
Renwick Bellamont Duke of Dunmere is set on just running his estate and raising his son because his wife who passed away made a fool of him and broke his heart however when a beautiful curvaceous woman storms into his life and he sees that she needs help with a matchmaking scheme, he sees that something is missing in his life..
Georgiana and Renwick only wanted to help a couple with a little nudge with some matchmaking however they fell in love with each other along the way..
This story was amazing.. Tracy Sumner knows how to make a short story feel like a full length novel..
I can't wait to read the next book in the busty bodice club.
I can't wait to see what else Tracy Sumner has in store next!
Tracy continues this fun series, we have a delightful, sweet, and spicy romantic story. We are following our next sister as she executes her father's wishes. She meets a slightly grumpy, single father, kind Duke on her way. Her match making escapades find some funny moments. Low angst which was a nice change.
I'll repeat what I've said before, Tracy Sumner writes the books that I always want to read. This one is no exception. What a story! A Silver Fox widower with a charming little boy, both of whom need (whether they know it or not) Georgiana. And Georgiana is an independent thinking young woman who is not in the market for a husband and then love happens. The story is short but so full of love, longing and happiness that you just can't stop smiling. The author knows how to paint a picture with words, she is a master at that. The only thing that she needs to do is write a book every week so I can look forward to the joy on a weekly basis.
Oh what fun, reading this fantastic story is by this special storyteller. Has everything you need to keep you reading while you lose sleep but it will keep you turning the pages and wanting more. Another sister with an assignment to do , left to her by her father. Georgiana is to help 2 people become a couple and fall in love. So off she goes to a house party at Anthony Vale's home. She takes her notebook with her to keep track of who is who . Renwick Bellamont, the Duke , along with his son, Henry, are also at the same party. Ren likes to bring him with him when he goes to these parties. When Georgiana sees Ren , he is with Henry , both trying to get out of the rain. Georgiana meets Henry for the first time and they start talking as fast friends. Sparks and emotions are noted for Ren and Gia. The connection they feel for the other is there and the steam happens. Now they need to step up and come face to face and admit the feelings for the other and they get their happily every after. Such an enjoyable story, can't wait for the next. The characters are sizzling with wit and the reaction is hot. Would recommend this story to everyone.
I received this story and leave this unbiased, honest review.
Continuing in Ms Sumner's tradition. This novella is a knock - out.A great plot for the 8 sisters, and a wonderful story of gia and Ren. Grab a copy and read this delightful tale . Don't do spoilers. So I'll just say awesome
Thanks to Booksirens for a copy of this story and this is my freely given opinion.
This is part of the Busty Bodice Club series, which is about a group of curvaceous ladies of the Ton, all sisters from a ducal family, and each given a task post-humously by their father to finish before they can gain their inheritance. Each story is centred on one of their sisters and their particular task.
I am not sure how much I love the marrying of the two concepts of the series. I do love part of about beauty and curvaciousness, I am not so married to the part of it being sisters and their father's set quests for them. I was hoping for a sisterhood of busty bodacious ladies supporting each other versus actual sisters - but maybe I am just being picky.
Anyways, this is book 3 of the series, and Georgiana Harrington is not a strong believer in love and marriage, but has been tasked by her father to engage in matchmaking and pair a couple together. She engages in this task, scrutinizing members of the Ton, with no thought to her own marital prospects, and ends up at a country house party. There, she manages to garner the attention and friendship of Renwick, the widowed Duke of Dunmere. Ren, a single father, has no plans on marrying again, and when he finds himself unexpectedly meeting and liking the sunny Georgiana, decides to become friends with her, and ignore his attraction. But as time goes on, and they spend more time together as he aids her quest, they both find themselves wanting more than friendship, but Ren is reluctant to be caught in the marriage trap again, and also worried that even if he was willing to enter that state again, he may be too old and not good enough for the sunny, beautiful Georgiana.
A rather sweet silver fox romance but at times felt a bit disjointed with a lot of facets of their story and their pasts thrown in, but only touched on as part of the story.
After reading my third book by Tracy Sumner (curiously enough, a second one with an age gap), I can see her characteristic writing style really matches the chemistry and energy of the couples she writes about.
What I mean by that is, her prose at times feels almost chaste (more so in the shorter works), but there is a deep sensuality underneath. Some descriptions read a little like the classic romances or even poetry, especially during intimate scenes.
This novella has that feel too. I really enjoyed the chemistry the main couple shared, and how both of them were truly likable characters.
Renwick was such a lovely character; I liked his insecurities, his doubts about being an artist, his unshakeable devotion for his young son, and… his jealousy.
It's been a while since I've read a hero whose possessiveness and jealousy didn't make me slightly cringe. Ren was actually quite charming while silently seething upon seeing potential suitors hovering next to the woman he was falling in love with.
I admit, I might've chuckled every time he called himself too old or decrepit for Georgiana (I think he was barely forty!); I feel the book's title was yet again slightly misleading, as Renwick didn't really feel like a” silver fox” next to Gia.
Who was also a lovely heroine. I enjoyed how, despite seeing herself as a wallflower, she quickly found her courage to be open and honest about her attraction to Renwick. And how she was even a little bit mischievous while planning on showing him how wonderful their union could be.
Curves for the Silver Fox Duke was a fun and romantic story, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it!
“Curves for the Silver Duke” is book three in the multi-author series The Busty Bodice Club. This book was written by Tracy Sumner. Georgiana (aka “George”) was tasked by her now deceased father to play matchmaker to receive her inheritance. A house party was the perfect place to observe, take notes, and make decisions. What this outgoing, curvy, independent woman didn’t expect was Ren, the Duke of Dunmere. This wonderful novella starts off running and never lets up. The focus is entirely on Georgiana and Ren, the chemistry between them was evident from the moment the rainstorm brought them together. This was an older man/younger woman scenario, Ren was a widower with a young son, he had his heir so he wasn’t looking to remarry. Ren was grumpy in society, his marriage had been prearranged with a woman who had her eye on Ren’s title. I liked Ren, his grumpiness was understandable. One thing I really admired about him was his relationship with his son, he was a hands on father, he didn’t leave the raising of his son to others as he was raised. Ren was also a talented artist which added dimension to his character. The repartee between between Ren and Georgiana was witty, complimentary, and fueled with lust and desire. When they were alone, mutual passion guided their actions. I also likeď Georgiana, I liked her independent spirit, I appreciated that she didn’t hold back or was ashamed of her desires. These two saw each other’s true self which made them a great, long lasting match. The story was well written and well paced with likable characters. The story contained lots of smoking hot spice and passionate romantic interludes worthy of these characters. If you like historical romances that are open door and have a satisfying happy ever after, then this is for you.
I received an ARC of this book and am writing a voluntary review, my thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.
A charming and heartwarming story that’s a joy to read from start to finish.
This quick, easy read is part of a delightful series filled with engaging characters and an entertaining plot that draws you in immediately. Tracy Sumner does a wonderful job creating a romance that’s both sweet and satisfying, with just the right amount of humor and heart. The characters feel alive and relatable, and the happy ending ties everything together perfectly. It’s a feel-good story that leaves you smiling long after the last page, making it a perfect choice for a cozy reading escape.
Utterly Delicious! I simply adore Tracy Sumner’s writing and this charming short story had the perfect mix of characters, plot and steam. A delightful piece of steamy fluff to read on a lazy afternoon.
I won’t bother to summarize the plot since other reviewers do that but suffice to say it’s an adorable storyline.
I love how Gia entrances Ren, right from the moment she engages in conversation with his son, Henry. She is genuine and reticent yet playfully flirtatious with Ren in a way that makes him vibrate. His longing and lust leads to an unfamiliar feeling within that many would call attraction but I call it love. We are witness to the delightful beginning of a long life of love and laughter between Gia and Ren.
The cute banter between them and their growing emotions capture the reader so you race from page to page to see what happens. And we all know what is going to happen, don’t we?!
I thoroughly enjoyed this tale of a widower, with his small son, meeting his match and pursuing his HEA.
Highly recommended.
Thank you to Booksptout for the ARC, this is my voluntary review.
George/Gia and Ren's story is very sweet, with a little steam on the side. I'll never say no to a single dad romance; it was doubly sweet that Ren brought his son to the house party with him. The matchmaking task her father has given Gia was interesting (I especially enjoyed when she listed all of the shortcomings of the guys at the house party--not Ren's of course, but all of those other guys, LOL). Who could have seen her own match being made in the end?
I mean--everyone. It's the point of the whole novella! (Not complaining, mind you...)
Overall I enjoyed this one--they're an adorable couple, and his son Henry is even cuter. The house party was a good setting for an instalove-ish novella. Ren was a little quick to reverse his I'll never get married again pledge, but it's hard to argue with the results. My only real complaint? A dude who isn't even 40 yet (and just barely starting to grey) is not really a "silver fox." Still, though, he's a great MMC and worthy of his heroine.
Rating: 4 stars / B+
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Curves for the Silver Fox Duke by Tracy Sumner was a fun read that was difficult to put down.
I’m not used to her writing novella length stories, but as I expected, her characters had depth and warmth. I know she doesn’t usually use the insta-love trope, but she writes it well.
I adore strong heroines who know what they want and go for it. Heroes who are in need of a little TLC - especially those who are willing to share their vulnerability - are my kryptonite. Add in a sweet little boy, and oh my heart!
This book is part of a series called the Busty Bodice Club, and I’m loving it. As a fellow member of that club I enjoy reading stories that represent us in a positive light. Ren is my favorite hero in the series so far. I appreciate that he realizes that it’s only one piece of her total person; he also treasures her mind and her heart for his son.
This one is a must-read for anyone who needs a reminder that they are perfect regardless of Society’s size expectations or definitions of beauty.
I wish that by writing one sentence, „He is a widower but he is not dead 😈”, you would understand the whole energy of this book because Ren is 🔥
In this short historical romance novella Tracy Sumner is flipping the script on a widowed man who is closed off and wants nothing to do with opposite gender. This man made me want him and he is fictional!
I am head over heels for the Busty Bodice Club series, and this latest gem by Tracy Sumner completely swept me off my feet! This time, it’s Georgiana Harrington’s turn to honor her late father’s final wish by claiming her inheritance. Lady George, as she’s affectionately known, faces the daunting task of orchestrating a marriage that seems impossible—until she finds an ally in the most unlikely of men: the aloof and brooding Duke of Dunmere, Renwick Bellamont. A widower with a young son, scarred by a loveless first marriage, Ren has no intention of opening his heart again.
What begins as a simple mission to bring two other hearts together quickly evolves into something far more intoxicating. Every moment in Georgiana’s company chips away at Ren’s carefully fortified life, until resisting her becomes an exquisite torment. She calls him to life in a way he never expected, and the heart he thought locked away forever begins to betray him.
This story thrums with emotional depth. I adored the sparkling banter—how he refuses to call her George and instead christens her Gia, and how every sly smile and stolen glance builds a tension that practically leaps off the page. Sumner’s writing invites you to feel every heartbeat, every shiver of longing between Ren and Gia, creating a romance that is tender, true, and captivating.
By the final page, I was utterly enchanted. Tracy Sumner doesn’t just tell a love story—she makes you live it. This installment is a dazzling blend of wit, heartache, and passion, leaving me breathless and already counting the days until the next adventure in the Busty Bodice Club. Bravo, Tracy—once again, you’ve given us a romance that lingers like the echo of a heartbeat.

Wow, this series is the best I’ve read in a long time. All the books are short novellas but each pack such a punch. Am not sure how the authors are able to able to get so much emotion along with the depth of each character in such a short story. This is the third book; each could be read as standalone but better read in order as the series is about eight sisters and letters their late father left for each. Georgiana Harrington has no need of a husband she is smart, outspoken and a better rider them most men and doesn’t plan on chancing. Her task is to match a couple who need a push to see the other and marry. This is going to be hard for her as she doesn’t believe in marriage as it takes everything from the woman leaving her dependent on a man. She is having a hard time figuring out who to match to whom. When help comes from an unlikely duke. Renwick Bellemont, Duke of Dunmer is known as the brooding grace. No one could miss a man like Renwick, tall, older and very standoffish and rumored to have affairs too. Renwick is a widower, with a young son, Harry, who never plans on marriage again after his late wife took advantage of him. That changes when George meets his son and is kind and enjoys the young man when most run and don’t want kids at house parties. She is very beautiful with a figure to make a man drool definitely not a George but more of and Gia. As they work to help the couple they picked out, spending time together neither can understand their feelings and desire. Hum, with plenty of witty banter, will either give in to the attraction? Will both change their view on marriage? How will Harry play a part with what happens? Run grab a copy and your favorite drink and lose yourself in an amazing story. I received an ARC from the author and wish to thank her. This is my honest opinion and am freely giving it.
I have loved this series of curvy sisters who each receive a letter from their beloved deceased father. Each are tasked with an assignment to complete before they can collect their inheritance. Each book is written by a different author and can be read separately. This is an age gap and grumpy/sunshine rolled into one!
Georgiana (George) Harrington has the task of playing matchmaker at a house party. Two of her sisters have completed their assignments from their father and each has gained a husband in the process of completing their assignments. George isn’t looking for a husband and Renwick (Ren) Bellamont, the Duke of Dunmere isn’t looking for a second wife when he came to the house party of his friend and business partner Anthony Vale with his young son Henry but when George and Ren’s paths cross, there’s an undeniable attraction to each other. There’s some well written steamy scenes in this book which fit perfectly into the storyline.
Ren discovers George’s mission for being at the house party from Anthony and asks George if he can help her with her quest to be matchmaker so he can spend time with her. He knows he is much older than her but she doesn’t care and in the end the wedding she arranges is her own. There was a lovely epilogue finishing Ren and George’s love story.
I loved reading this short novella. I wish it had been longer but there was a lot of storyline packed into it that was not rushed and flowed very well. The plot was very focused on the main characters and their blossoming relationship. It was a very interesting and enjoyable story and I really liked Ren and George. I have enjoyed every Tracy Sumner book I have read very much and this one was no exception.
I received a special copy from the author. I am voluntarily leaving this review.
Their father was dead. However, he reached beyond the grave to give his children an assignment they must complete in order to receive a small inheritance he left each of them. Eight siblings, eight letters each with unique assignment laid out for them. Georgiana was bring about a match between to unlikely candidates. Her starting point had been to attend a raucous party at the home of the wealthy Anthony Vale where she watches and carefully makes notes about those gathered who might make a good pair. Whispered about as being a bluestocking she was mostly ignored except for a few who were attracted by her curves that she had to avoid. Because time was running out for her to complete her father’s task, she went seeking someone who might help her find a suitable target. Renwick Bellamont, the Duke of Dunmere, was in attendance along with his bright, energetic young son, which she had met earlier the day before. Surprising the Duke early in the morning recovering from too much to drink the night before they struck up a bargain that would help them both. What they hadn’t counted on was that getting to know each other better, they would realize they made a perfect couple. This short tale had some fun antics, a bit of spice, insight into both Renwick’s past and Georgiana’s quirky personally that brought together an unlikely pair with a little interference from a cute cupid. I thoroughly enjoyed following Renwick and Georgiana’s short jaunt into each other’s unsuspecting arms. Part of the “Busty Bodice Club” series these ladies are well able to handle themselves and the men who catch their attention in a society that may not always value them the way they deserve. If you enjoy lighthearted warmhearted romance, a heated encounter and happy ever after pick this one up.
Curves for the Silver Fox by Tracy Sumner Busty Bodice Club Series Book 3
~ Wonderful, warm, and witty age gap romance that had me smiling as I lived vicariously through the words of this story ~
What I liked: * Georgiana “George” Harrington: one of eight sisters, twin to Celeste, responsible, quiet, unassuming, protective, moving onto the bluestocking shelf, warm, kind, open, competent, bright, beautiful, compelling, has chemistry with Ren who calls her Gia * Renwich Bellamont, Duke of Dunmere: widow, single parent, young son named Henry, artist, responsible, feels deeply, wealthy, good friend, wife married for title and wasn’t true to him, believes he’s done with marriage till…he sees Georgiana, * Henry: a very young Earl, in need of a mother, well-loved by his father, immediately liked Georgiana * Anthony Vale: host of the house party, business partner with Ren, not in the market for a wife, enjoys women, good friend, wonder if he will have a book in the future * The chemistry between Gia and Ren * Georgiana’s open, honest, communication of what she wanted and her willingness to reach out for it and Ren’s honesty when he “claimed: Georgiana * The scene with Ren drawing a portrait of Gia and how he “saw” her * That it made me smile, provided a wonderful escape, and reminded me a bit of my own age-gap romance almost fifty years ago.
What I didn’t like: * Jane: Ren’s first wife who was definitely not a good match and someone to avoid rather than be wed to
Did I like this story? Yes Would I read more by this author? Definitely
Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.
Lady Georgiana Harrington, "George" to her friends & family, arrives at the house party with curves, confidence, & a father’s final task to complete, not the intention of derailing the life of a brooding, silver‑fox duke who has sworn off romance harder than most men swear off vegetables. But Renwick "Ren" Bellamont, Duke of Dunmere, is not just any duke - he’s a widower, a world‑class brooder, & the kind of single dad who makes you want to hand him a medal for tenderness.
Then there’s Henry, the duke's seven-year-old, sweet, earnest & observant son, who isn’t matchmaking but simply being himself. The way Ren loves & treats that boy is enough to make a grown woman melt into a Regency‑era puddle. Watching Gia (Ren's nickname choice) slip so naturally into their world & how well her & Henry get along is heartwarming to Ren, yet scary.
Ren tries to keep his distance, but every time Gia smiles, breathes, or exists within a five‑foot radius, another one of his emotional defenses crumbles. The man is fighting a losing battle, & we are absolutely here for it. Their banter crackles, the chemistry simmers, & Tracy Sumner, as always, proves she can write longing so potent it should come with a warning label.
This book is warm, witty, and wickedly charming - a silver fox duke undone, a curvy heroine who refuses to shrink, & a father‑son bond that steals the show. Tracy delivers a romance that hits you right in the heart & then winks while doing it. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book; all thoughts and opinions are my own.
In this series, the eight Harrington sisters are tasked in their father’s will to each do something in order to gain their inheritance. Each sister’s novella is written by a different author, making the series an excellent opportunity to try out different regency authors. Tracy Sumner has the third installment, which centers on Georgiana, twin sister to Celeste in book two.
You do NOT need to read these books in order, they do fine as standalones, but I have been enjoying them enough to look for them all.
Georgiana’s task is to be a matchmaker and make a match between two (other) people, and she is at a house party trying to do just that. She knows, however, that she won’t be able to match the icy Duke of Dunmere with anyone. A widower with a young son, he is at the house party, but has very strong views on ever marrying again.
You know where this is headed already, but that doesn’t mean you won’t enjoy the journey. Georgiana and Renwick overcome their own baggage to find happiness together. This is a somewhat steamy (it isn’t a long book) age gap romance, although the Georgiana is over 25 and Ren is under 40 (a younger silver fox lol) so it isn’t creepy. Tracy Sumner is one of my favorite regency writers and this book is as good as her others. The limited length of the books in the series means that each one starts fast, gets to the point, and resolves fast. This book has very little drama—the two characters just fall in love. And that’s ok. I am enjoying the characters and their journeys and look forward to reading them all as they are released.
Georgiana Harrington isn't interested in marrying but according to the society into which she was born, she is expected to be a spouse to some titled person. After his death, her father left a stipulation for each of his daughters to fulfill before they could claim their inheritance. George is expected to play matchmaker and arrange a marriage. It is with the intention of meeting people she could assist in their goals of matrimony, that she attends a house party and meets, Renwick, the Duke of Dunsmere, also known as the Brooding Duke. Ren is a widower with a young child and society believes it is past time that he found a new mother for his son. Ren is adamant about never remarrying given the history of unhappiness and infidelity he experience from his deceased wife. After George meets young Henry and he appears to be taken with her, Ren also realizes he feels a desire for George that he hasn't felt in some time. After George learns that Ren is an artist, she demands that he draw her and Ren arranges for them to meet in secluded cottage away from the house party so they won't face public scrutiny. After spending time together, they give into temptation and kiss. Ren tells George she needs to find a younger man to marry but George is determined to get her man, Ren, and goes out of her way to make hm jealous in the hope he will realize that they belong together. Curves for the Silver Fox Duke is a short but steamy and well plotted out story that can be read in one sitting. I received an ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tracy Sumner delivers exactly what her fans crave in this fun and flirty historical romance. While the novella format can often feel rushed, Sumner strikes a perfect balance, providing a satisfying depth of character and plot that never feels "short-changed."
The Characters • Gia: A standout protagonist who is refreshingly independent. She is confident in her curves and knows exactly what she wants, making her instantly likable and relatable. • Ren: The "Silver Fox" himself. He is appropriately respectful and cautious with his intentions toward Gia, making his eventual surrender to love—and his hard-won "happily ever after"—all the more rewarding for the reader.
Why It Works The chemistry between the leads is palpable, supported by just the right amount of romantic tension to keep the pages turning. While a full-length novel would have likely provided even more of Sumner’s signature "tension in spades," this novella succeeds as a concentrated dose of charm.
Key Tropes • Age Gap Romance • Second Chance Romance • Matchmaking • Grumpy x Sunshine • He Falls First
Final Thoughts: A delightful, fast-paced read for fans of steamy Regency romance. It’s a polished example of how to execute a high-stakes romance within a shorter word count.

They should have called this series The Dreamboat Dukes. The first one was an adorable stuck-up grump. The second a swoonworthy self-reforming devil. And now this! Seriously, how am I to resist an artistic, silver fox, dimpled, doting dad duke?! Of course I’ve only read three so far... but I’m seriously hoping the trend continues!
Georgiana & Ren A Hertfordshire house party. She young, bubbly and bold, on a mission to complete her father’s dying wish to play matchmaker – her own match the farthest thing from her mind. He, dour and distant except around his son, determined to steer clear of temptation – one disastrous marriage was more than enough. A drowned rat meet-cute and some candid library confessions later, and Cupid struck. Hard!
Delightfully light and delectable – especially once his loins take the lead! This crafty little maiden might be inexperienced, but she sure knows how manage her man. She’s playful and naughty but also nurturing, and most of all she’s real. She’s there for the artist, the father, the man, and couldn’t care les about the duke. Her lust for life – and him – are contagious! So, naturally, after a respectable but ineffective bout of resistance, he caves – and all I will say is: long live yummylicious mature men!
If you’re looking for a fun and tasty quick bite, this is your thing! My only complaint: it was too short. They’re all too darn short! ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨

I think that I have said more than once, how much I enjoy Tracy's books and this one did not disappoint. Here we meet another sister of the curvy sisterhood whose assignment from her deceased father is to match 2 people that perhaps don't stand out to marriage. So George takes that challenge to heart while at a house party where she encounters Renwick Bellamont, the Duke of Dunmere and his precocious son. Ren is a widower raising his beloved son, who he takes everywhere. He definitely is not looking for a match. He also sees himself as way too old (The guy isn't even 40) and pretty much attempts to find any excuse to avoid this young woman. Unfortunately he has a good friend, who has no issue leading him towards George. I kind of Hope that Anthony Vale will get his own story.
Along the way he decides to help George with her match, but he is also finding her hard to resist, her kindness and thoughtfulness strike a cord in him. And his son adores her, because she sits down with him and acknowledges his presence. That alone gets a Duke's heart going. So what to do, when you aren't looking for love. I guess you will have to read.
Georgiana Harrington is determined to live life on her own terms. She is fiercely independent and uninterested in becoming anyone’s duchess. When a final letter from her father asks her to help orchestrate a marriage, she reluctantly takes on the task, never expecting to find an unlikely ally in the Duke of Dunmere. Ren, a widowed duke and devoted father, has long settled into a quiet, orderly life. With an heir already secured, he has no intention of remarrying, and certainly not with someone like Georgiana. He finds her too young and vibrant and far too tempting. What begins as a practical partnership to matchmake others quickly becomes something far more complicated. The strength of this story lies in its emotional undercurrent. Ren’s quiet loneliness and sense of restraint contrast beautifully with Georgiana’s boldness and independence. Their dynamic is filled with unspoken tension. The romance unfolds at a measured pace, allowing their connection to feel believable. I did find Ren’s resistance to the romance a bit drawn out, but I still really enjoyed seeing both characters grapple with expectations, propriety, and their own fears. We have an older Duke who thinks he’s too old and he has no need to wed as he has an heir! This story serves five stars because the heroine is mature and secure in their relationship from the beginning! No histrionics and false accusations was so refreshing! Lady Georgiana Harrington aka George looks nothing like a George with her voluptuous curves but she loved her nickname! She has been tasked to help a couple unite and find love! Never did she think it would be her own! She is initially fascinated by Renwick Bellamont, the Duke of Dunmere and his wonderful relationship with his son who he takes everywhere! Even to this house party. Society calls him His Brooding Grace! Once Ren made up his mind he wasn’t letting Georgie go then of course his past comes calling! But it is the mature way that Georgie handled it that I love! She was focused on the present and their future always! Their interactions are steamy yet wholesome in a way that you know they mean forever! This author is already one of my favorites so no surprise for such a wonderful quick read! I received an ARC copy from Booksprout for my unbiased opinion!
When Lady Georgiana Harrington is tasked with match making a couple (any couple) before she can recieve her inheritance, she secures an invite to a house party. There, she believes she will have better odds at completing the task. What she doesn't count on is meeting Renwick, the Duke of Dunsmere or his young son Henry. Georgiana quickly falls for the Duke and he for her, but past hurts may stand in the way of their perfect match.
Overall I enjoyed this book. As a novella it was a quick read. Tracy Sumner is an engaging author and it is easy to fall into her stories. It was not flat or focused solely on the MMC or FMC, but drew in side characters and hinted at their own tales.
I only struggled with one aspect of the story and that was the Duke's first wife. At first it is mentione that she "died alongside her latest paramour in a carriage accident" the later she supposedly "passed during the second week" of a bout of spotted fever.
The inconsistency threw me a bit, but it did not impact the main storyline.

This is the third book in the Busty Bodice Club Series and I really enjoyed it. I really wish it had been a longer book, it was that good of a novella.
It's Georgiana's turn to fulfill her father's last wishes and he gave her quite the job. He has tasked her with matchmaking duty and she knows she is going to have a difficult time with this because she doesn't really believe in marriage... She is going to need help with this one.
The last person she expected to come to her aid is Ren - the very handsome and brooding Duke of Dunmere, who she finds she has an inexplicable draw to.
Ren is a widower and one who doesn't plan on entering into another marriage in his lifetime but that all changes because of Gia (Georgianna) whom he wants deeply and falls madly for from the start.
I really loved the connection they had from the beginning and that for two people who both were opposed to marriage - they ended up forgetting all that for the feelings they had for one another.
This was a warm, lovely, charming, and passionate story.
