this book taught me a lot about the new testament. i wouldn't have made it through our course of study this year in sunday school without it's help. I do have one complaint though. In the kindle version it is hard to read the helps and the verses of scripture at the same time. you almost need to versions or at least your scriptures open as you read. i found that by the time i got to the helps i had forgotten what the verse said. when i used the scriptures on my phone and read the book on my kindle that helped a little.

And finally the third book requested by our Stake President to finish by Nov. 9th. I reading this with Glenn or I'll never get done. It's interesting how much I remember and yet discover. For example: How Joseph saved Jesus' life three times because he was close to the Spirit and headed the promptings.

For some reason they didn't have The Book of Mormon for Latter-Day Saint Families or I'd have put that one as a favorite as well. These editions give though provoking questions and definitions of difficult words for those of us who need it. The book also divides up the scriptures into digestible parts for the little ones with small attention spans.

I am using this as a companion to my personal scripture study. I love it because it gives just enough commentary and information to make me love looking for more of my own answers and deeper meaning in my own Bible. A great book to bring to the family dinner table!

I'm very proud of my wife and myself for reading this entire book together. It took us a little over a year. We are awesome :) The "for Latter-day Saint Families" scriptures are super good - they will be great for when our kids finally sit still long enough to read together.

This book is amazing. My son and I are reading this together to go along his seminary studying. He has some disabilities and it is making the scriptures to understand for himself and also me. I recommend this book for all Latter-day Saints.

This whole series is amazing! There's quotes from Prophets and better explantations of the scriptures on each page. I've found that reading both the new and old tesatment was much easier.
