In a strange way this reminds me of an O. Henry story. It's Xmas and a friend/lover returns home to give his former BFF with benefits roommate what he thinks she needs/wants when what she really wants is him. How the author brings these characters to life in such a short amount of time is just eerily wicked. I was close to tears at the end for no other reason than their admission of love for the other and the lengths, no dick pun intended, it took to get them there. And I'm left just wondering how to feel.

I am warning you now, people… we have crossed into new erotic territory here. I’ve read and reviewed shifter naughtiness, human naughtiness, dragon naughtiness, ménage… but in all that time we’ve never crossed into…

FOURSOMES

The logistics of such a thing boggles my mind, which is one of the reasons I was interested in reading My Three Kinks. I needed to know the whos and whats and wheres and hows of such an encounter. And boy oh boy, Emily Ryan-Davis certainly educated me a bit.

The story begins with Chelsea feeling lonely and depressed as Christmas approaches. Her best friend and former bedmate/friend with benefits has moved away and she’s realizing she liked him for much more than just his…benefits. Jeremy is in the same boat and so he, stupidly, brought two friends with him to help her get over him. By giving her a night with two other men. As he watches.

Yup. That’s the idea.

In the end (no pun intended), the four of them have a rousing moment in front of the fire before Jeremy realizes how much he loves Chelsea. And cue the happily (and a little less kinkily because sharing is not always caring) ever after.

I’m giving this one three stars. I loved Jeremy and Chelsea but it was a little beyond my comfort zone. The sex was relatively hot but I just couldn’t get behind (again, NO PUN INTENDED) the whole idea of how these men ended up in Chelsea.

I mean, in her apartment. Really.

We Three Kinks is a super hot 'Quickie' describing what happens when Chelsea's BFF, Jeremy, comes home on a Christmas visit and brings her the ultimate sexy present... the gift of two hunky men to make her menage fantasies real.

The erotic action is raw and intense, a wild, sweaty tangle of bodies and orgasms, but it's also a catalyst too. The sexual interlude brings enlightenment to both the two main characters, and allows them to see their bond in a new way, thus adding a layer of emotional depth to the steamy erotic descriptions.

In spite of being seasonally set, this raunchy short can be savoured all year round as a treat for readers who enjoy menage stories.

It began as a way for Jeremy to give Chelsea a nudge forward while fulfilling a few of her kinks. It ended up showing him that he wasn't willing to give her up.

Short, but hot. I was surprised to see that level of emotion written into such a short story. A definite re-read.

For such a short story, there is alot of heart in it. The first few sentences have you wanting to devouring the book. It takes only 30 mins or less to read but definitely worth it. And it was HOT!!!
