Rate this book
Betrayed by Galen and left in command of Vormund, Kaybree scrambles to fill her mother's shoes while defending against her former friends. With the original Steel Fox gone, many organizations vie for control of her. She struggles to know what her mother would have done, poring over Andreya's journal for clues to her ultimate plans. Her research leads her into a dream world, where she journeys through the memories of an ancient Vision Bringer. She sees the wondrous world before the War of the Angels, filled with marvels of relic and machine. But she knows that in spite of its majesty, this world fell into war and ruin. She must discover the hidden truth behind its fall before her own world meets that same fate.

The same quirky story. Just as fun as the other books. I like the way Harrison has turned the hunted into the protected into the savior. Way cool! Good job Harrison. The ending to this book is great. What other way could it end? On to the last book in the series. Will all come together in the end and will we be happy with the ending. With a new author like Harrison Paul who knows.
